      and Sharapova’s loss against Serena at Wimbledon /the .12 Olympics?

      and Sharapova, please note, was not regarded by her contemporaries as a gracious player.

    Naomi will win the gold medal this year in Tokyo!
    Wow, I just realized I only recognize Serena and Venus but they look so different. i know several others by name. I started watching last year because of Naomi so it’s interesting to see all these old players who won before.
    It’s kind of crazy how good and better Naomi’s game looks compared to some of the players in this video like Graff and Henin. She is at 23 already a better player than them IMO and will continue to improve until she passes Serena.

    • @franciscolaprida2133
      @franciscolaprida2133 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can’t really compare different eras, technology has helped change the game a lot, it would be interesting to see players like Osaka using those raquets&balls&shoes from the 80’s
      And by the way, Graf was 19 when she won the Gold medal in Seoul, she had already won 5 Grand Slam titles plus the Gold medal in Los Angeles 84, do you honestly believe Naomi at 23 with only 4 slams and no medals to her credit is better than her?

    • @akizaizinskii
      @akizaizinskii 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@franciscolaprida2133 Absolutely. Naomi would pummel Graff 6-0 6-0 as would Serena. She will win more Slams than Graff and in a much tougher era too.
      Tennis just keeps getting better. Everyone thought Serena was the best, but then came Naomi and started regularly dragging her like 6-3 6-2 in Miami, 6-2 6-4 in USO and 6-3 6-4 in AO. It’s not even close. One day someone better than Naomi will probably come along too, but for the time being she is the most talented female player ever (so far).

      @@akizaizinskii Naomi Osaka has yet to prove how good she is on all surfaces.
      Until now (23 y/o) she has not done it on grass, or on clay, she has not even reached the finals un any tournament on these surfaces.
      Steffi and Serena at 23 y/o had already won on all suurfaces, and consecutively.
      There still a long way to go to Osaka to get even close to these two great stars of world tennis.
      I like Osaka's game, but I think he should improve a lot , both on clay and grass to show to fans and followers how good she is.

      In my comment, never mentioned "Masha",who by the way reached three finals in RG, winning two, reached three finals in Wimbledon winning one.
      Now it's time to see how many finals Naomi will reach, both in clay and grass.
      Hopefully many of them.
