This was one of my favorite fights, since getting destroyed by Yggdrassil the 1st time left a mark.
Nice job including both Kratos and Zelos dialogue options. Also, are you playing this on an emulator? It looks like the game was upscaled.
I watched the whole thing. Replayed this game a few years ago but some of this plot is entirely new to me. I had no idea mithos was kratos apprentice. Nice playing by the way
Yeah I think there's either a skit or a sidequest cutscene where Kratos said he had a student but he failed them as a teacher. There's a whole video with interesting clues if you search up "Kratos foreshadowing."
It makes me so mad that they somehow downgraded from 60fps on the GameCube to 30fps on PC/PS3 and probably also on Switch. Good video tho, Yggdrasil lowkey harder than mithos
Yggdresil is Extremely annoying. Almost gave my party a game over. Toughest boss i ever fought.... but had to win according to a guide.

oof that wasted Unison attack on a minion.
i've been stuck on these fights for forever and im literally so annoyed im playing on normal mode and i cant get past the yggdrasill fight i have 4 apple gels, 1 lemon gel, and 1 life bottle and i cant go back to buy items idk if its my setup or what but im having such a hard time and its super annoying, oh btw im playing the remastered on switch honestly i wish they had a easy mode and it wasnt just normal/ hard so i can move on with the story already :(
You shouldn't need gels if you have Raine. Get her to spam Revitalise and you won't die. I used Lloyd, Raine, Sheena, Regal and both bosses went down easily. Party were around level 65
