I started using the lighter weight, slower tempo method and by far these workouts have been more impactful day to day than trying to whip around heavy weight. I had serious trouble activating the chest as my shoulders and triceps always seem to kick in, but holding back slowing it down and having a mental conversation with that muscle helped me a ton.
the main reason i’m looking into this is because my mind muscle connection with my entire left side muscles is significantly weaker than my right. Drives me insane
Got the same issue on certain excercises. Try and Alternate lifting heavy with low reps, and lighter with high reps. It worked for me and now they are basically equal now.
Weed has helped me feel that mind muscle connection. One hit of sativa and I can sort out how my body is moving in real time. Truly is fascinating that it does that.
The touching of the muscle is actually really good for pain as well. I had a fucked up shoulder and knee and id do shoulder presses and squats while digging my thumb into the painful muscle area. Feels amazing and actually makes pain go away lol
Extra tip i found training the same exercise for many days in the row increased my control and connection and feeling of contraction much more...it was insane...very sore after that altough used light weights
Holy crap THANK YOU for the concise no-bullshit explanation and demonstration. I had to dig through a huge amount of incoherent people on the internet before finding your video. Thank you for simplifying your instructions, as a beginner it's difficult to get a coherent straight answer about proper strength training form and strategies.
It's a sad day when legitimate information gets 20k views in a year but absolute bs gets millions. After shifting training due to injury, I really want to improve my mind to muscle connection. Very useful tips I'll most definitely utilise in my next session, I'd find addition tips to help built it in the back muscles without a partner extra useful.
Thank you bro, it is very helpful. I just learned this today and I really need to apply. This is one reason that I have a hard time to grown and also I suffer a lot with my attention deficit disorder. I really have a hard time to concentrate in any task. But I will apply your tips. Thank you.
I’ve realized lately that my right pec is much smaller than my right and the more I’ve looked into it I see that I have almost no mind muscle connection with my right arm so when I do incline dumbbell press I don’t lift properly with my right but I do with my left
1 & 2 are basically the same thing. A lot of this is the same concept as what you’ve heard your whole life, nothing groundbreaking. Have a cadence, control the weight, focus on the muscle
as a beginner I'm not even sure what this means. I keep hearing about it so I know that it is important could you break down certain exercises with specific muscles to concentrate on
I can't seem to get it on the bicep barbell curl, I feel it on the inside of my elbow the most, not my bicep. I try flexing my bicep but I end up gripping the bar tight and flexing my forearms instead. I think I need someone to touch me. I'm having a hard time.

I'd look at your relationship with your mother and how you view women. Left side is our feminine side.

It’s so true, the 3 tech you are teaching people also prevents injuries, especially for an old jackass like me. Good stuff!

I feel my forearms more than my biceps during Db curls? Any tips/cues?
I have been using the cues for working out, so i feel the muscle during the exercise but cant flex it so well (lats in particular)

Sending this to my bro rq 💀

I only had a connection with the right side of my body

The pp is also a muscle right?

Hmm, now to figure out how to touch my lats while doing pullups, just kidding. Great info though.

Will you do every workout with this kind of focus? Or will you go heavier on occasion?
Love the Natty Professor!
Okay, I'll bring down my Weight I'm Lifting
So if a bigger more muscular guy come up to me and say mine muscle connection don't exist what next
All I gotta say is boy you finee
My pecs are the part my mind can't connect with. Hate trying to do chest workout with no pain or results
I want u to pity them, pray for them and share the gospel of mind muscle connection 😹😹😭😭
i'm gonna try this and come back in 6 months and let ya'll know. Curling 60lb dumbbells and still a baby nugget on my arms...unacceptable.

And if you want to look like those guys, don't forget the needle-muscle connection!
