Bread pudding is a favorite and because of the variations! Stale bread is best, cinnamon raisin bread, challah, any left over bread! We use heavy cream and light cream, not many eggs, butter and grated whole nutmeg with Saigon cinnamon - whole nutmeg never go bad and one whole grated nutmeg just about equals a bottle of grated nutmeg. Raisins are terrific with a simple bread pudding. We make it in a big soup pot, until all liquid soaked into bread - three loaves of cinnamon raisin bread and transfer to huge baking dish. It's just toooo delicious ‼️

I like to slightly toast the bread ; do 2 layers and sprinkle some raisins on top of each layer . For the topping , I used any flavour Jello Instant Pudding mix.
