Yes, we know, Aishite is more popular right now but its only gained popularity recently while Lost One's Weeping has been more notable throughout the years. It's appeared in iconic VOCALOID concerts, and is one of the few songs on NicoNico to reach 10 million views. It's one of those songs that introduce you to Kagamine Rin. Whenever people want to suggest songs to listen to, the truth is that people are likelier to list Lost One's Weeping over Aishite, because it has that longevity and relevancy. It's Neru's most notable work, and one that helped stand Neru as a top VOCALOID producer to the test of time. October 2013: DONUT HOLE > Young Girl A; why? This is another similar case to Aishite. DONUT HOLE is a popular GUMI work that has stood its ground as one of the most popular GUMI songs for years. Young Girl A only gained popularity in the last two years. There has also been a big increase of lack of producer credit (to the point of crediting Miku instead) and newer fans comenting the same thing over and over again on Hatsune Miku channel uploads.

No disrespect to Siinamota bc I was blasting Shojou A back in 2014, but new fans need to realize that Hachi will probably forever be at the top of the Vocaloid tierlist in terms of how iconic he is and how respected his songs are in the community, he’s a legend. The only people who contest him are arguably Ryo and Wowaka but I still think he barely beats them out. Newer fans will never truly understand the absolute chokehold Hachi had on us back then.
