But have I spent a considerable amount of time crying over Message of Regret? Did I use to know all the lyrics to German covers of Daughter of the Devil and Servant of Evil by heart? Fuck yes, I was obsessed with those three songs. One time I was bullied harder than usually and I hid in the woods and cried and sang them for comfort and it HELPED.
So I guess I don’t know anything about Vocaloid and somehow it still is very dear to me and connected with some rather big feelings haha

The version of Miss wanna die used in the video is an english cover by Jubyphonic. The original IS sung by IA though, like the video says.
The version of Therefore you and me in the video is a cover by 38ban and Eve. The original IS sung by Hatsune Miku like the video says though.

The one on the video is not miku tho. The original use miku but the video use the 38ban & e ve version. Also with good tuning and good producer, you wouldnt believe how human sounding a vocaloid can be. Years ago i remember someone saying they dont like gumi since she sound way too human.

As an artist (not music) I’m always against ai trash. Isn’t this just the ai of the singer world.
Vocaloid costs a lot of money and making music with it is NOT easy , people spend so much time and effort making music with it. It's basically an instrument
vocaloid need your direct control, it's classified as a synthesizer, newer 'AI' ones just give more realistic singing voice but still need your control, not those 'trash' generative AI we bash on
Absolutely not. Vocaloid, utau, and synth v are made with the voice providers' permission, and the lyrics and instrumentals are all made by real people
