The figures are great, and despite the amount of CGI, it still fits in greatly with the stop-motion, which is also done really well. Awesome work yet again.
Thank you, I wanted to use cgi for this film as I felt i could do more in terms of the films visual work. But ive realised that alot of people dont prefer it as much as a natural set so next time im planning on foucsing on all brick built sets and only use limited CGI if i can get away with it.
My great grandad fought in WWII and how he would remember this if he was here ;( (he didn't die in the war he died long after the war at 92). Its channels like this I love because it reminds me of how brave he was. Let's think about the people who served in the war before you scroll further down P.S (Scroll down until end) Thank you 🙏🏻
I cannot believe its only until now that i have seen ur comment. Thank u so much for ur kind and heartfelt words my friend. In sure ur grandfather was a great and brave man. My he rest in peace.
Well, we have hit 50,000 views so far people, I would once again like to thank you all for supporting my endeavour to create TH-cam videos, lets keep it up :D
Awesome work! Just one quick suggestion - I feel like the troops fired SMGs in shorter bursts to save ammunition, but hey, it's just a little thing :) Great jon with this one! I look forward to more.
I would like to say a special thank TH-cam to Kobikowski and the people who provided me with the custom minifigures and accessories in order to make this piece possible by asking you guys to check out their TH-cam channels and websites in the description, they have some high quality stuff which could help you guys out in your future online content. Thanks :D
Nice job man! Question : Were the people who are in the Dark Tan at 5:44 The 1st Polish Brigade? From what I knew the 1st Airborne Division was with them.
+TH-cam Wars hey man. Yeah they were. when the situation in Arnhem became so dire for the Brits high command ordered Polish paratroopers into the city to help with the withdrawl
Love your stop motion detail!! Ejecting shell casings add that extra coolness too. I like your composite at 2:45 of the German 88's. Very good composite with the Vickers Machine gun foreshortening as well as the Bazooka. I look forward to seeing more of your films.
Thank you so much man, this is the kind of constuctive feed back i like the most, gives me an insight to what people like. I will be sure to keep it up :D
No problem. Love the live element of your stop motion medium. Are you using more natural lights/ cans, etc? Are you using After-effects, combustion, etc. on your effects?
Awesome work Jed, I missed this when it came out! Truly your best video yet and one of the best ww2 stop motions on TH-cam. I just with you had some dialogue thrown in there, just to add a bit of a plot... But maybe that's just me :) excellent work bud!
By the way I forgot to mention, I also have a Facebook and Flickr account which will keep you people up to date on my upcoming brick films with exclusive behind the scene photos and specially selected film stills from the latest animations I'm working on. Again, links are in the description :)
Good job:3 I know first hand how hard and long it takes to make even a shitty lego film yet you made 6 minutes of amazing animation and quality :3 GG C:
The scene where the british planes drop the supplies and the germans get them remembers me of a scene from the film "a bridge too far". Have you watched this film too?
+Евгений Дресвянников Thank you my friend, it took a lot of time and effort to make, I wanted to try and get it out for February but I was bogged down with college work :)
Amazing work Jed! Nice to see some is picking up the torch after MrPearlJack! :)Not sure if you knew but I changed my name from Military Swagger to E Bricks...
E Bricks I hope for that too, I would actually like to carry this on as an online career as well as a hobby. All I need is funding to do it. Maybe if I get enough subscribers, I can open up a funding account like Patreon so people can help me :)
+JedAnimationStudios Also this inspired me to try make my own stopmotion. Difficult due to my voice sounds weird in video and bits falling. Plus I got only a tablet.
Awesome job! Im really in the mood now because I just saw "A Bridge To Far". Just one question, was the anti-tank gun in that one scene supposed to be a PIAT, because PIATS looked different.
M1917A1 Machine gun & bazooka weren't used at Arnhem, instead they had 303 Vickers MG's & PIAT anti-tank weapons. there are records of other US small arms employed at Market Garden tho.
Thank you, sorry for my late reply. Yes I totally agree, especially on operation market garden which is an important. I hope to someday make more episodes on different battles that took place during this conflict such a Nijmegn (i hope thats spelt right) and so much more
Great job, but from what I know they didnt use prop planes, they used gliders. Hear me out: They would of pulled the gliders all the way to Germany, then let them glide to their targets. This makes sense as Op. Market Garden was meant to be top secret, and getting in was the hard part. Since gliders dont use any engines, they are effectively completely silent, and the only way of knowing theyre there is to look up, giving them a tactical edge and a small element of surprise.vAnd lets face it, if you cant hear a prop propelled plane but can see it, what would you think?
+StopStudio TV thanks man, I wanted to take a different approach to making ww2 brick films in this project by instead of focusing on one soldier or squad, but rather the whole situation from different soldiers, both British, Polish and German's perspectives :)
Where did u get the helmets and the british torsos if i go to the linked channel it says it isnt an channel anymore? Off course nice video this is one of my favorite!!
The figures are great, and despite the amount of CGI, it still fits in greatly with the stop-motion, which is also done really well. Awesome work yet again.

I have no idea how he did it.
He probably made them himself.
Awesome work Jed, I missed this when it came out! Truly your best video yet and one of the best ww2 stop motions on TH-cam. I just with you had some dialogue thrown in there, just to add a bit of a plot... But maybe that's just me :) excellent work bud!
+Mr. Svenson Thanks man, knowing its one of my best animations so far really means a lot to me. There will be plenty of dialogue in the next one.

Amazing work Jed! Nice to see some is picking up the torch after MrPearlJack! :)Not sure if you knew but I changed my name from Military Swagger to E Bricks...
+E Bricks Thanks man, but I could never compete with him or the other TH-cam greats. I just hope I can continue making these for as long as I can :)
I think you are actually a pretty good contender! With more time and larger sets your films will definitely be as good as his!
E Bricks I hope for that too, I would actually like to carry this on as an online career as well as a hobby. All I need is funding to do it. Maybe if I get enough subscribers, I can open up a funding account like Patreon so people can help me :)
I really hope your channel starts to pick up steam! My goal right now is to break 100 subscribers.....that's nothing compared to what you have! lol
+JedAnimationStudios Also this inspired me to try make my own stopmotion. Difficult due to my voice sounds weird in video and bits falling. Plus I got only a tablet.
Awesome! It reminds me of the movie A Bridge Too Far
Wonderful Job.
But how did you make the British paratroopers helmet?
Stil very nice

Awesome man!! Like like
I love the helmets from the british para's
Where did you get the sound effects at 2:54 where the paratroopers scream their lungs out?
Awesome job! Im really in the mood now because I just saw "A Bridge To Far". Just one question, was the anti-tank gun in that one scene supposed to be a PIAT, because PIATS looked different.
+Wes Morrison I couldn't find or make any PIATS, so I just used m1 Bazookas instead. Thank you for your comment :D
Your'e welcome! I have been trying to make a PIAT but I cant find the right look.
M1917A1 Machine gun & bazooka weren't used at Arnhem, instead they had 303 Vickers MG's & PIAT anti-tank weapons. there are records of other US small arms employed at Market Garden tho.
im pretty happy with this vid cuz not much people make vid of arnhem i live in holland its hard to find a ww2 vid that was made over ww2 holland
Thank you, sorry for my late reply. Yes I totally agree, especially on operation market garden which is an important. I hope to someday make more episodes on different battles that took place during this conflict such a Nijmegn (i hope thats spelt right) and so much more

Sure, they were made by Brick forge but u can buy them form other places too www.brickforge.com/Field-Cap.html
Great job, but from what I know they didnt use prop planes, they used gliders. Hear me out:
They would of pulled the gliders all the way to Germany, then let them glide to their targets. This makes sense as Op. Market Garden was meant to be top secret, and getting in was the hard part.
