Dw u get another promo if u somehow avoid own ego boosting smurfs ruining low elo coinflip soloq. Imagine if rito would finally start fixing this by allowing to have like max 2 accs per ip, that could be a disaster for all these diamond+ hardstucks couldnt flex or boost a friends in silver elo LOL
@@rengod336 Thats not real. High elo players smurf because of the fucking long queue times. Waiting 20m for 3 dodges and a 15m game because higher elos games are shorter is not funny.
In lower elos you can just spam games.
Streamers do this because they NEED to play games in order to entertain. They are league of legenda streamers, not ranked queue streamers.
Is that bad? Yes. But what would you do in their place?
If you get better you'll climb. A smurf in your way is just an excuse to avoid looking at people's mistakes

Objectively, it is trolling, from iron to chall, if you stand near the dragon when your team is behind and are trying to force a 2v4 situation, for example. Or staying in lane with 1/10 of your HP.

yes please teach us how to win vs a smurf, it is obvious that you have to give him as few ressources as possible and take most of your time tracking him on the minimap to help your teammates but should you ask for ganks, should you try to deny him cs or rather focus on your own, should you follow his roam or perma push to prevent him from roaming ?
this is the kind of tips that is useful to we players watching you, around 95% of the player database, nobody cares about how to smurf when you are challenger...

i haven't watched the whole video jet, but so far i've got all of them right, the thing is, it's much easier to tell what you're suposed to do when watching someone else play rather than palying yourself.
then be less autopilot and actually think about what youre doing during your games
actually, I think that's not the case, think about this: how long did it take you to answer these questions right?
he is answering them in split second, I'm taking like half a minute each.
this is why it's best to devote yourself to solely 1 champ. the less you have to think about things like "what buttons do i have to press", "do i have enough damage to kill X" etc, the more you'll be able to look at the more subtle parts of the game like vision control, map awareness, etc.
but yes, behind all that is a shitload of practice and experience.
personally i'd recommend not even thinking about these more complicated questions until you're diamond, before you're diamond you can just climb by focusing on 1. getting kills and 2. not dying. (as a midlaner atleast, i'm not sure about other roles.) (while 1tricking a champ, very important)
that's the difference between a good player a bad player. A good player will decide to kill elise as soon as he sees her, a bad player requires 30 seconds to think if he can 1v1 her.

tbh this feels like elise being incompetent... I'd be the Aurelion and just pinging elise for help because ennemy laner is literally standing under my turret but nothing. Then she comes to feed a kill on top of it.

I mean. If you watch carefully they miss a number of charms, but that's probably just not highlighted as it's not playing well. If he says go in aggressive like this and then fumbles his keyboard and dies that's not really useful. He does also die in the video twice, once while making a point that sometimes the right play still gets you killed if your team doesn't follow.

I think its pretty funny that THIS is what you people consider "feeding" teammates... This is a good game for me, everyone is at least trying noone has a negative Kill/Assist to Death Ratio and noone is inting...

Not only is your team mentally challenged constantly screaming at you like you are the worst fiend ever or their only hope on earth, but it feels like you get punched in the face over and over again for nothing. Now I can understand when ppl dont know the function of a jungler or the basics, but then I dont. And goodluck climbing in an environment where you are the only "constant" viable. Climbing like it feels overcoming undestructible mountains. Mountains that throw you down over and over again.

9:20 I still think that defending the tower was not a good decision, even with the clutch save from thresh lantern, Ahri who had 550 gold prime lost her flash to defend mid tower, she could have died in next fight when she chased ennemy Senna and got stunned by Elise. She didn't die because Aurelien Sol in the frog of war was a bit too far. I think saving summoners when you have huge a prime is really important.
Ahri is fine there. It is close just because he decides to stay in the grass for a second to charm Yasuo for no reason. After she charmed Yasuo she even stays in range to w and auto-attack. Idk wtf is he doing cuz he knows his aim is clear wave not to kill people but he still autos yasuo. If he just Q the wave then simply run but not greed for that 200 300 extra damage he wont burn his flash

I used to doubt my decision making but after I watch this I think I'm going the right way giving me more confidence. Also 12:50 "Seeing the right play but my team didn't then die for it" That happen all the time and cost me a game sometimes which is sucks.
I thought exactly the same in all scenarios within 5 seconds, the problem is i really needed those 5 seconds and ingame i might have 1 second to execute those plays haha

13:15 minimap isnt bugged, its a setting that you have to turn on, its called show neutral camps in interface settings

Question 1: My thoughts were exactly what you did.
Question 2: I was unsure, likely would've backed up just a bit, looking for wave management/harass.
Question 3: Post-scoreboard, minimal, push the wave to deny farm, ward a side, look for a plate. I'll admit though, being in a winning 2v2 didn't really cross my mind, we both pushed wave though.
Question 4: Peace out! We're outnumbered in lane atm. What to do after that? Hold the lane to prevent a push, because now, I'm trading my time for both of their time. Despite active ult, wasn't sure if going for ASol was on the table.
Question 5: Push mid wave in, not sure whether to rotate top to hold or bot to help with the tower.
Question 6: Hold my tower after the enemy engages. didn't know about kiting then turning there.
Question 7: Try to survive while killing minions. This is a very tough spot indeed.
Question 8: Stay alive, kill the wave simply because I'm the primary wave clear here. Fighting? That's surprising to me.
Question 9: Yeah, Yasuo may be dead, but I'd assume my team is about to ARAM so I'll push the wave to draw attention, but wait, not knowing where the enemy team is at, plus Tryn is split pushing anyway. Engaging Elise? Nope.
Question 10: Contest the vision, since dragon is about to spawn.
Question 11: See if Voli gets a pick, otherwise start zoning with him as the tank. No, I don't think like an assassin in this spot.
You know there won't be any "Challenger Hector limit testing" moments when you see McBaze in the start of the video. Kappa XD
The worst thing when you know everything you need to climb but during game you just know what to do but can t do it or do something else
At 2:24, when you have no ult or ignite and you're in between their jungle pillars, I think it's extremely important to point out that Elise is bot which is why this play is safe. Without this information, this type of play could easily be a trap where you get cocooned from over the wall and die, something that lower elo players watching this video might not understand.

Cause illaoi is the most broken champ in the game. Can go 0 and 6 and still 1 v 3 post level 6.
@@Ulquiorra_Cifer Most likely because you don't understand how to play vs illaoi. If she lands her E on you, don't fight Illaoi. If she misses it, fight her. She gets insane CDR on her W when she's in her ultimate, and insane damage on you when she hits her E. The correct way to fight Illaoi is to let her miss her E, and only fight her when she doesn't have any tentacles around. One way to learn how to fight Illaoi is to play her for a while, play a few games on her and find her weaknesses and strengths, once you know her weaknesses, exploit them when fighting her.
11:22 I thought our Thresh was dead and we should get a jungle camp while waiting to defend/ fight, but turns out it doesn't matter if enemy overstayed, thanks for the video.

Perspective of a freshly placed new to the game bronze IV player.
1. I thought escaping through top jungle from the enemy side before realizing that top had jungle priority and thought about hiding behind minions to avoid stun and charm elise
2. I didn’t think that Ahri could reliable pull off a charm with all the minions so I thought to Q and retreat around terrain, through the brush back to lane because I didn’t think that Q would do as much damage as it did. I’m not confident enough to pull off dives like that but it was well played
3. I thought to shove lane, which clearly happened faster then I had anticipated. If I had realized that it’d happen faster I would probably have answered roam top
4. R through wall and distract
5. R to kill asol and dash to back off. I didn’t think far enough to kill Fiora but I think I might’ve done something similar
6. I recognized that the situation was bad and thought to help top and R away if it seemed like i would die. Thinking about it, pushing wave was definitely the better option
7. I did think to kite but I thought it’d be smarter to kite towards tower but river was the better option due to bot’s lane priority and avoiding asol’s stun
8. I didn’t think about the tower and instead
thought that asol’s stun would kill you, so I thought to just recall.
9. I would go for it. That kill would put you close to getting rabadon’s and thresh and kaisa are there if more enemy team shows up. Ult is also up if necessary
10. Hard engage on elise
11. Look to grab at least a pick or two so you can safely do baron
My own notes:
- Take advantage of level difference. Example 1:00, 8:35
- If they have a buff on them, it is considered worth the flash to kill them and take the buff. As Ahri, E Flash, do not Flash E. Example 2:39
- Take advantage of health difference.
- You can choose to freeze when the wave is too dangerous to shove. Not big enough of a wave to use to push. Use freeze when low waveclear.
- Constantly pushing, shoving, makes enemy laner to overstay and deny them cs and get tower plate.
- Check for enemy items and levels constantly. Check at winning lanes and losing lanes.
- Helping a winning lane against a gank = Win. 4:00
- If you get gank, and another fight is going on, do not bring enemies to that fight unless you have a number advantage. 5:35
- Punish for out of positions even though they have enemy tm8s near them, but if their tm8s are behind them, it is basically free kill.
- Bait enemies into your team if u r sure they have no vision of ur tm8s coming in. 6:45
- Don't go to fights that have no reason. Go do objectives or push waves. 7:10
- Missing your abilities CC, Charm. Don't go to tower if they have number advantage and can clearly perform an attempt at diving. Instead kite away (not just run away) from tower into maybe some bush. This will also make them go away from tower, buying time and not let them hit tower. 7:45
- If you are in awkward position and enemy taking your tower, clear minions. This stops them from taking tower. 9:30
- Punish overstays (holding onto too much gold and not spending it) and basically leading you to item advantage, mana advantage, health advantage etc... If your teammates are with you but not going in, you can try force the fight.
- Rather than going in to try and get a 1v1 kill, you can clear wave while waiting for allies to rotate and outnumber that enemy splitpusher. 12:00
- Check map for right picks/plays. When to go in and solo and when to not.
- If you are fed, defend your vision. Because they having no vision, limits them to go into that one bush cause it is risky.
- Punish out of positions again, Example 14:25. Sol not with tm8s, and his only escape is Q CC.
- Don't face check bushes or go near bushes without vision or attempt to kill someone near a bush without vision.
I'm an ahri main, so watching this gameplay will definitely benefit me a lot. So if you don't mind, i'm just gonna leave my notes here.
Love the videos! Instead of watching some other guides that I only watch for some tips, I watch these because I genuinely like watching them and the tips are kinda like a bonus
At 3:30, I would argue that the fight in bot lane isn't really an unfavorable fight ( not even a coin flip ) because of the numbers advantage. It is a 4v3, since Volibear is there. I actually think that's a really easy fight. Also, the Senna shutdown is sweet too, even though it is small. Not saying the roam top is bad, but just saying that the roam bot is better than McBlaze says it is.
Wouldn’t the dive with the E flash be pretty risky since we have no vision on Elise and we can possibly assume she could be around mid?

Sometimes you need to take the risk. If you just play so slowly and carely that means you dont do anything extra to carry game so you cant carry only if you trust ur team you can do nothing extra

I see what u mean, but im stuck in bronze, were its coin flip if ur mid/top/bot gos 0/7 every game.
Which I am not able to carry. Even with 8/1/2 stats on Malz or Ori! So I get mega turbo tilted ever game, because I lose of other lanes or an inting jgl.
Meanwhile my teammates report me for winning the game. "Report nasus , 0 help" while I destroy nexus alone at 20 minutes.

I have a video suggestion for you, how to not get outscaled by late game champions when your team struggles to end a game?
For example a 2/10 diana in lane, the team didnt manage to end the game yet and the diana is now able to just delete the backlines so easily, even bruisers

when they over extended on mid tower i probably would flank through the raptors pit to murder senna, you just went straight into her and she made her way out for a bit. also trynd scared them so idk if it would be the correct play
I literally called every play except 1. I even called the buffering the e as ahri before you flash. I'm no challenger, d3 but ive been playing the game since season 1 and can point out a lot of the enemies errors. Great video as always

Yeah I missed 1 as well. I didn't think Ahri could 100-0 anyone pre-6 with no items haha. Even a squishy Elise down a level.
DOES he buffer e flash though? I watched in slo-mo and it's just a normal flash e, if it's done properly you'll see the ability start cooldown before the flash is used...it clearly shows the flash start cooldown and then the e start cooldown. :) he was so proud though - ha.

My problem in low elo is when my team gets tilted because I don't help them in fights that are already lost, if I explain they don't listen and just flame me.
This format is way better than the old one. Its good to see the mistakes the opponent is making and your teammates and the macros of toxic games
Two questions about the items you choose to build:
1) Why hextech and not ludens?
2) Would it change any of the decision making during the game?
1. hextech makes ur charm easier to land
2. certainly. I would not want to start hextech against a zed.

Well, I'm an otp ahri and exept the wave clear to def the tower with Yas and Aurelion, I got all the answers right (in my mind, I would have tried a charm on aurelion and see what happens). The problem is that most gold players won't dare those plays, a high level player is confident in his skillshots (or an otp) but not most of typical players :/
It's very easy to climb, learn from mistakes, start a team fight when enemies do mistakes and when their spells have big cool downs, farm a lot and get good positions in fight u can climb easy to diamond and up
I think the reasoning behind the foam top was wrong. Since Voli was headed bot it was a potential 4v3. Also Kasia wasn’t really losing that hard. Another thing to keep in mind is that Botlane wins way harder (cause two people win not one). The roam top was better because trynd with grasp doesn’t scale great, it’s for early power against Fiora. So you need to accelerate the game against her. And rift herald was up while drake was not, which in my opinion should have been the deciding factor. You should have taken it with trynd let him use it top or use it yourself. Also since Elise was bit she couldn’t contest. I think that if you didn’t take Herald it was most likely a mistake (I can’t tell for sure because I can’t view the replay and get enoug info)

I literally do all this and still cant win when my team wants to get the dragons when we are less people, behind in gold or behind in item spikes. If i dont group they die and if I group we still lose.

I think its literally almost impossible and far more difficult so that's why nobody is making videos for it lol. I'm struggling like you wouldn't believe to just get plat 4 and I was almost diamond last season at one point. It's easy to say "get more xp" but bottom lane can't possibly do that with the way they changed XP this season. I seriously think I would have better games with an AFK support sometimes and an XP advantage.
@@garrettbillington7230 I've been support main for most of my time, this season support(my supports) weren't really impactful, so I decided to learn ADC, got 65% wr on my way to diamond 4. Adc problem is not kiting, it's wrong position. Look for the right plays and moments, consistently, and you will get to diamond too!
5:42 You could have gone towards your team there because both Yasuo and Elise were dead. This wouldn't have been a losing 4v5 it would have been a winning 4v3.
The point he was trying to make was that when he played the game he looked and saw they were fighting in river and made the decision on that initial check with that initial reason in mind. It's not like he knew in a few seconds the were going to be dead anyway.
Just to correct you, escaping elo hell isn’t simply climbing on a smurf account but getting an account that had bad, negative MMR into a high rank which is exceptionally difficult and time consuming no matter your rank. The closest I’ve seen a guru lol challenger streamer do this is Jay Sea, and even he couldn’t do it without switching accounts midway. I’m told Nightblue did the same, but can’t personally vouch though I’d venture to say he’s another example.

It feels like it's easier to get carried rather than carrying. Whenever I feed, I usually get carried because I know how to play from behind but it's harder to carry when I'm ahead because people just troll after they have a rough lane phase
When you paused at the Elise gank in the beginning, I thought you should run away. I saw their ADC and Support weren't there, and thought they would come mid, it is a low-elo thing anyway.
knowing that the player is you (and not anybody else like me) i picked the right calls almost 70% of the time in the video (like right answers 7 on 9) but if I was playing arhi (with my mechanics) I would take much more safe plays not punishing at all, so you are totally right to me on this point.
my question is: don't you think you're training 2 different levels of players in your videos? I feel like in these tests you could have find other good macro choices (that you taught us very well in other videos) that wouldn't imply to be this good in the micro. I know this is far from anything micro-amazing but i think lots of us would have a tough time trying to emulate this kind of simple stuff.
trying to make an example, at the 3rd minute mark i would have totally freeze but in knew you would have kill him. i could Flash-E but then wouldn't dodge is Q and died under the tower almost certainly. in that position i would just try to take plates/take vision/take a good recall timing as (i think) you taught us in other videos, leaving him have a bad recall time.
long story short, i could never do this kinda plays and i cannot carry nothing yet i think. I wouldn't try going for high risk high reward plays, instead i would try taking small advantages and in this way i can be easily punished by my teammates mistakes (and eventually also mine of course).
this is not a criticism, i thought it can be useful to you to know what a low elo player with bad mechanics thinks like after all your macro-decision lessons.

People complain that a challenger smurf was in game, that's why they were sucking.
But does it matter? It could be a challenger, or a player who is actually applying game knowledge and learning how to abuse and still be ranked as a bronze because they aren't 100% consistent.
Seriously, I'm Bronze 2(still climbing and climbed down from the pits of iron) but these days, I get people asking if I'm a smurf, because I've learned the limits of a few of my champions, and I watch videos like this to learn what I should have done differently.
Big thing about this? A lot of things I DID know, but a lot of things come down to champion by champion. Something that has improved my win rates as a jungler significantly is knowing when I'm a jungler with CC that I know I have easier times ganking as well as if my laners do as well.
I know I need to improve in seeing what champions I win against 1v1. And this is why pros say stick to one champion. This guy KNOWS Ahri's limits. He knew exactly the range on his ult, the time frame he has to flash E, he knows when to escape with his ult or to save a charge or two.
I know we all get tempted to switch around, but seriously. If you are doing ranked, there is value for choosing only the champions you know BEST. You'll know exactly who you can beat, when you can solo dragons, when you can tank a tower shot and live, etc.
Smurfs can be a dirty thing, but smurfs will inevitably also encounter other smurfs. The point of these videos is to explain why, "ermagerd this smurf is just a god". No dude, this video is explaining literally to just apply a few extra layers of game knowledge, learn a bit more about champions, and be less dumb.
It's ranked. People are spending A LOT of time getting good, so nothing will happen magically. These guys had to get used to the rhythm and feel of the game and champions too.

It seems like you need the right heroes to do this too, unless you are THAT much better. I mean, I main WW like a god, and I play some with Riven, but it feels like it's a lot easier to carry with Riven. I dont need anyone, I just stomp. It feels like a junglers like WW needs a good team, otherwise, you pump them up like crazy, get all dragons, herald, etc, and it's still not enough if you cant solo carry it
I got most of these right. Maybe the problem is I main ADC. In the 7 minute mark, if I was the kai'sa pushing bot, or in ahri's position, my team would then start pinging, raging and trolling. I'm Plat 2 elo, and I swear, people throw games so much by believing LOL is a Mortal Kombat game. This makes climbing pretty hard in the end
Any tips on how to lane with Ahri against pretty much untouchable champions like Syndra, Xerath or Yasuo? I've noticed Yasuo isn't that much of an issue for Ahri, but unless it's a complete stomp, there comes a moment in the game where he picks up a couple kills and he gets Statikk shiv and IE and from then on he's unstoppable.

4:10 i would had push mid, take the first tower, then go botside with my jungler to secure the bot tower, and the drake popin soon.
They can"t dive a trynda with ultimate, especially with squishy champs
i answered correct in every scenario besides one.. problem for me i believe is thinking quick on the spot, i took my time on each scenario.

12:48 that is me every game. I have had games where I use flash maybe 2 times at most. I have a bad habit of being incredibly greedy with flash.

Ok i gotone question. Why morello? Only healing is senna q, and fiora. Fiora gets one shot anyways so why is anti healing needed? Senna is the personyoure going for anyways, so she cant even heal her team. I felt an oblivion and spending the 1.4k gold on sthbetter then just grevious passive
The morellonomicon purchase triggered me so hard. Senna was basically the only one with a small amount of healing.

I’m genuinely curious, you said “Remember, low elo is anything diamond and below” How is diamond considered low elo? Diamond is top 2% of players in a region. Is that to say high elo is only top 1% of all players? I would have to disagree personally but I’d like to hear thoughts on this
Man I'm so close to getting into the next elo. The interesting thing is I know the general concepts like to just ignore the fight and clear mid. But I'm bad at judging when we can win a fight and when we lose a fight so I do the wrong thing.

If your team gets an ace and everyone recalls instead of baron , while baron is obviously the right play , you can't die trying to solo baron and say " oh well it was the right play unlucky". See what i mean? That 1 for 1 there wasn't worth since ur worth more gold and ur 1V9

i can do all of these concepts in game consistently as a mid/top laner, but i feel like my team feeds too much that i can't even do anything with my lead. Had a game where I was sett vs a maokai, 40 cs diff, 2-0 lead but the score was already 2-15 during 10 mins. then the enemy proceeds to just run me down cause my team dies when i try to split or engage
What if your team losing every lane and jungler invading enemy being 0-3 already in like 5 minutes? Enemy ad 4 kills yet +30cs advantage, with for example naut supp or other heavy cc, top lane 3 kills idk aatrox or some carry stuff like trynda. What can u do even if u 5-0 your lane? Thats common scenario in pretty much coinflip lower elo games ;)

tbh Aurelion could've killed you that one time when him and Yasuo were chasing you through your blue buff, but for some reason he stopped his stars from killing you (he had plenty of mana left). I imagine he thought his auto would kill you.

When you roam Top when both lanes are being ganked, you said it was because it is hard to help a losing lane. Would the decision have changed if there was Dragon that was up?
7:00 I would just feel the urge to soft flame them, make them realize the fight was useless. Doing so I would lose the focus and the game aswell. Idk sometimes I just get tilted by my teammates stupidity (forgetting I also do stupid things) and I end up losing the game.

Is this useful enough if you don't get 2 kills early game? And same if both your teammates bot/top are losing? I guess nothing better can be done if you aren't ahead and nowhere to roam (cause other lane is losing)?
5:30 but yasuo is dead and elise dies shortly after, so could you in theory have gone to the team?
My thought process was that your allies were on the same side than you, so pulling them towards the team they would have faceplanted in a 2v4. since they're split. They can't follow you that far, and you can help the team on the other side.

The point he was trying to make was that when he played the game he looked and saw they were fighting in river and made the decision on that initial check with that initial reason in mind. It's not like he knew in a few seconds the were going to be dead anyway.
yeah i disagree with his choice and his math. if yasuo is dead and tryn wasnt even there i dont know how its a 4v5 (elise + senna + fiora + sol=4, ahri + thresh + kaisa + voli = 4), furthermore, dragon was about to spawn and elise isnt great at teamfighting. id move down, since i have R i get there much faster than sol or fiora (who are the 2 weakest solo lanes), we kill elise (as elise was alive when the question was posed), it becomes a numbers advantage for us, we take dragon. also if tryndamere saw we were winning the teamfight straight out, he would have stayed top and put alot of cross map pressure.
