Very handsome ute, and the interior looks miles better than before. GM has come a long way in its interior designs.
But for truly 'premium', status, which the Denali aspires to be, give this thing a smoother V6, not a four pot!

Very true! Needs a better power train under the hood to better separate it from the Traverse.

We bought a 2023 Acadia with a V6 in Sept 2023. Dealer wanted us to come look at 2024 version. They were giving us less than half of what we paid for it a year before for trade. And they didn’t have any Acadias for under $60k, so the $43k for Elevation is not realistic without markdowns. And then to see the 4 cylinder engine gets less MPG than our V6 is pathetic.
I like watching the retro videos and remember seeing the old GM trucks and Suburbans were almost matching these MPGs if not better over 30 years ago. A non turbo V6 in a truck was close to this and a late 80s diesel suburban was better than this. They need to figure this out. Folks seemed to do fine in the past with less than 300hp, but better mileage.

... Except lack of power was a major complaint about vehicles, even back then. Hence why power has gone up over the years. Now I would prefer an I6 over a turbo 4, and I did not care for the 3.6 V6 at all, but that's just me.

Front end styling was knocked out of the park on this design. With the Gen 3 Acadia back to its original size albeit a tad longer, what will sit between it and the Terrain? A Hummer Hybrid, a Canyon-based SUV aimed after the Ford Everest (which would be renamed as the Explorer should the Ranger-based SUV come stateside) and the completely new Toyota 4Runner and could revive the Typhoon name that was used originally for a performance-oriented Jimmy from the 90s, or something?

If that engine is noisy, and stressed with just the driver. Imagine how it’s going to struggle with six more people, luggage, and something attached to the tow hitch! The new Acadia/Enclave/Traverse, still also suffers from transmission failure, even with the new 8 speed automatic! Since 2007 GM cant seem to make a reliable transmission for these SUVs.

It's about 1 second slower than the 362 HP Hybrid Max, and the fuel economy is way behind 27 combined

Overall job nicely done. But applying liberal logic to the environment is clearly not working out and becoming a big failure overall. Lets see, we drop the v6 to put a turbo 4 banger which equals the combined and is 2 mpg lower on the highway then the outgoing V6. I see no logic or savings whatsoever. The only benefit it a little more power so its slightly quicker. HOWEVER the engine is noisy as they said so the benefit is not much of a benefit at all
