Crazy to come back to this video where I had ZERO experience or clue where to start, and now I have my own apparel brand and do custom shirts on the side. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and just doing your thang!! You've been a HUGE help
I’m in the same position u once were im 15 could u give me some tips u picked u along the way ?
Focus on your passion and be clear on why you're starting your business. Learn about the best way to market your product(s) and be consistent. You are the billboard of your business! Show up for it! Also, learn how to properly file for and protect your brand once you've started. Have fun! Try new things. Startups costs can be expensive so plan ahead and do a ton of research. With experience things will simplify. Don't ever give up! Take breaks if necessary. I did and it saved me. #BeYouBeLit

@@BigBrandoh quick question. How long does it stay on the shirt before it starts to peal or fall off?
"Hopefully this video helped you guys out"? Are you kidding? Other than coming to my house and doing it yourself how can you be any more helpful??!?! haha. Great video man!!!
hahahahaaaaa that shit was funny! thanks for watching bro 👊🏾 i appreciate it!
Wat is name of your printer?
People like you are my kind of people. Giving back and openly showing people the blueprint to help others get to where you are. Killer video :)
Pursuing my dreams and you just gave me the keys to the first steps in 9:03 mins.Much Respect..
How's it goin bud

Thelonius Wulf respect!
Bet that dream didn't work out
That definitely helped me out deciding what vinyl cutter to purchase and actually seeing the process done for t shirts really helpful. Thanks
Cheers big man. I know a shop that has one of those presses, I can get access to a vinyl printer quite easily. I'm wanting to get a sponsor logo made for a football team I'm with, get the sponsor logos printed onto the uniform and this seems like the best way to go about that. Great video my man.
I’ve got the cameo 2 , I’m a grandmother from Scotland , I’m looking to do T-shirts , thanks for your tutorial
Great video! I love how you explained everything in detail. This video is very helpful!
I appreciate you soooooo much! So many of us have dreams and ideas but can't find the tools or guide we need to carry them out. You've just given me the key... the ECONOMICAL key to reach a goal I've had for some years now in only 9 mins. Thank You!
thank you for the guide... ive been using a cutter for over a year now but just small vinyl stickers.. now i just bought a heat press and been wanting to begin practicing. i learned a lot here, i just didnt wanna go hands on and spend on a lot of material, now i understand the process much better, thank you!
Bro you just saved me a headache, these other you tubers don’t be making no sense I think they forget there teaching people that don’t know what their doing yet. I’m definitely about to join that promo on patreon
i appreciate that!!! Thanks for watchin and rockin with me
This is one of the best "how to do" videos I've seen for making T-Shirts. I have the same cutter and just bought a heat press from Heat Press Nation (Highly Recommend Them). Thanks for the demo.
thanks for watching
This is by far the best and most informative step by step video I have seen today. Research done, now I work
Excellent video! I had so many questions. You answered them!
Ive been printing for almost 3 years as as a homebase and a worker both in printing industry..and just watched this video..man youre a very good tutor..planning to change my 24" cutter with cameo 3 too..everybody says cameo3 is more accurate
I have these items and what you did was help me on how to use them ✊🏾💯 I appreciate it
You really helped me to understand the complete process. Thank you for the mini course.
You are dope my man. For the last week I have been watching your videos religiously. In doing so you have expanded my mind on doing a couple of businesses. 1 for my daughter and 1 for me. Just copped your e books and defintely will utilize the 30 min session when I get a break out here in Afghanstain. Be easy my man.
Appreciate the time and effort you put into this video. I'm starting my own clothing brand an i appreciate you for taking the time to inform us the people on what to do.

Thank you for this video. Helped me make my decision on what machines to use starting my clothing line. Will be following your social media as well.
A great video. I stopped printing but feeling inspired to consider starting again. Thanks
Great t-shirt design. I use CorelDraw to create vector art and export as a dxf file. No tracing needed so it's super clean. As a designer, I've been working with screen printers since 1987, before we had great software. Just got my Cameo 2 last year and I love it! It's comes in handy when our printers don't want to set up for 2 shirts. Lol. I have found out that it's a little easier to weed HTV when it's warm. I use the heat press to warm the platen or use an iron to warm a hot pad if it's a small design. Then I lay the vinyl decal on the platen to warm it slightly before I start weeding. It's helps the vinyl to release from the adhesive on the carrier sheet. 😊👍. Enjoyed the video and I really like your work space. 😍
JilleyTN contact with me
What are the programs to design with budget wise and do they sync with cutter automatically??? I do heat transfer but wanting to move to vinyl so any help would be great. Thanks
If you created it in illustrator you can export it as dxf file, just make sure you see the design as outline instead of preview. Works faster and cleaner lines than tracing.
pinda0020 cool tip thanks
you're welcome
to expand upon this exceptionally helpful tip from Pinda, you can also always cut out the middle man and use silhouette connect (costs extra pennies though X_X) and just cut straight from illustrator :). It will show up on the file menu of illustrator if you have connect installed saying 'send to silhouette connect' and then the standard cut window for your silhouette will appear. Saves me so much time as I can just work from one piece of software. Only 'oddity' I find is it has a separate list of custom blade settings to the main silhouette studio program (default ones are all the same though)
Which heat press is that ?
I don't remember if DXF works with Silhouette studio, but with the designer edition upgrade, it can import SVG files, which is just as good. This also means no tracing. I don't know why, but text gets dirty when you trace it.
I am ordering everything today because of you! Thank you!
Thank you so much for great educational video. I am a newbie and really appreciate the honesty and information. Much respect to you.
Great video! Excellent information. Keep up the good work, Big Brandoh!

DEFINITELY helped out. thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing where you get your vinyl. We just spent so much money for vinyl that's nowhere as big as the one you use. This will save us we are working towards starting our business. Have you started and how is the business going for you?
Subbed and smash the bell button!! I'm just starting a tshirt printing business and I'm looking forward to learn from you 😁🙏🏻
Big Brandoh has great information. And if you are interested in the equipment he's using, we carry it on our website.
Great process and definitely should try it!
Love your video bro! Straight to the point and very helpful. Appreciate you!
This is a really great video. I'm wondering, how long does it take you to make 1 t shirt?
depends on the design. could take 3-5 minutes or could take 10 minutes. weeding the vinyl is what takes the longest.
This really helped alot. i was thinking i need to spend over $5000 on equipment. but now i can get started with less than $2000.
lol 2000? geez more like 300-400
Zerk What would you recommend?
@@Kjbailey1997 (1) silhouette cameo 1(got mine for $99 on ebay & works great),
(2) heat press from ebay ranges from $99-200 depending on the size and brand
(3) Heat transfer vinyl from amazon(its cheap af)
(4) any shirt manufacture u choose. I personally like next level and george shirts. Blank george shirts at walmart are like $2-3 a shirt and they fit great imo.
(5) Design ur own shit (obviously free)
I cant see someone spending 2k to start making shirts. Thats nuts to me.
$400 max to start is fair enough.
Zerk Thanks so much fam. You a Legend.
@@Kjbailey1997 yessirrr!!
This is the Best Video on the Process of Creating Your T-shirt with the Heat Press..THANK YOU BRANDOH!!!

Your video helped me out so much ! Thank you
Would you recommend this process over silkscreening? How well does it hold up when you wash the shirt?

tape the vinyl down to the bench, makes wedding it alot easier
good call. thanks for the tip. 👍🏾
Pretty cool. I have a silhouette too and I had no idea I didnt have to use that adhesive plastic mat.
Very helpful dude. Well appreciated. Made it looks super easy and professional 😎✊🏼🙏
I can totally appreciate this method. Screen printing is messy AF.
what are good programs use to create your art work.
Albert Davis illustrator and photoshop
Props for you in your learning process.
“Thank You Very Much for this Awesome Video!” Highly Appreciated!
so thats ONE shirt. Seems slow for orders more than 1. Does heat transfer support more than 1color and higher quantity orders? i have been told it does, and I am skeptical. thx
take a look around my channel. lots of useful info on multi color prints, running and operating your brand from home, other print options outside of HTV
Very good video! I see you are in so cal! If you are ever in the market for a DTG Printer, hit me up, I work for ANAJET-RICOH, and would be happy to invite you to our office to see what our brand new printers can do! Keep up the great work!
OmeroGuerreroTV bro do you have email....
I love seeing invites like this. Hope to reach the platform and audience you have brandoh much love from Texas
Damn expensive. Your machine isn't for first time operators! over 20 G's for basic model.
Yea a good dtg machine will run u 13k and up. I hope to be at that level someday. However, most companies will finance...😃
You are the 🐐 brother. Moving into my new office space with my business partner soon, will be binging your channel until then, just need to budget accordingly so I get good equipment but not so expensive, then I can get to workkkk
Great job man. I am looking to get started and this helps me.
Vinyl cutters don't apply ink, they just cut, but how could I get a image on to that Vinyl paper, would a printer work?
you are correct. a vinyl cutter just cuts vinyl. you want to print an image to paper you need a printer.
Do you need a spacial printer to print onto Vinyl?
@@arshionwade9209 when you're looking for Vinyl to feed through a printer you're going to want to find Vinyl for that printer. If you have a inkjet you need printable vinyl for a inkjet printer.
@@BigFatBabyLegs oh wow, OK. Thank you, I was just curious.
Vinyl Heatpress vs ScreenPrinting - which is better quality and last longer?
Kevin Martin two different applications. both good quality. vinyl cut from a roll, screen print is actual ink onto shirt. to me, vinyl good for home DIY. not everybody has space or knowledge on screen printing from home. when applied correctly both applications will out last the life of the t shirt.
Kevin Martin i hear the ink is cheaper to run, more expensive to get started, can be more delicate . heat press is more so plug n play, the hardest part is the programs, and buying good vinyl. you can even do dye sublimation, im.not sure how much the printers cost for it tho.
urjnlegend thanks for the info. Any links to the heatpress vinyl that is good quality? Any suggests on a heatpress?
I think the biggest difference between vinyl and silkscreen is screens on a finished product. In vinyl is harder and time consuming to weed out small detail prints. I use both it all depends in quantities also
Kevin Martin I bought one cheap off amazon works well
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Arohanui for that! Keen to create now 👍🔥
Awesome tutor Bro and Thanks for that
Thanks! Where do you get your vinyl?
Tina Judkins i buy locally. no price breaks on vinyl. same price online as it is in store or anywhere.
Big Brandoh cool thanks
What brand of vinyl are you using?
John Foster i say it in the video
Foil paper how many microns
i remember gta on his background music
This was a really dope demonstration and straight to the point, thanks big dawg! Even made me consider the cameo much more.
thanks for watching
Great product thanks for posting!
I just bought a cricut, glad to finally see a man using one rather than all the arsty fartsy people.
Anyone looking into vinyl cutters. DONT BUY A CRICUIT or however you spell it. It’s ass
hahahaa thanks for lettin the people know your honest opinion. thats what its all about. what happen with your cricut? i've never used one.
Big Brandoh the software is just poor takes like 30min to set up a design to be sent to the cutter. Then the cutter is all finicky and takes forever. I ended up giving it to my uncle lol and I just kept using my us cutter. I only bought it cause my big 34” cutter cant hold small pieces of vinyl.
@@christopherw8654 some people on TH-cam have all these tutorials on how great it is... all their doing really is going to Google and downloading the image. meanwhile when you go on Amazon.com people over there are complaining about software membership monthly (which the company fails to talk about....) You can not use any other software...so the machine is practically useless...
Is it true that you can load your own images to the software ? I've done so much review that I wasn't sure 100% yet... but now you've convinced me!
Can you tell me what would be a ideal cutter for a person who's on a budget?
Thanks in advance!
Best video by far , made my decision to get a cutter quick and easy . Thanks
thanks for watching!
wow. Here I was doing my research on how to market a brand I am just about to launch and I came across this video on how I can produce my own merchandise. I have decided that I am getting my own material and doing the productions myself. Thanks a lot man. God Bless
