Typically is due to room. Room is key to allow a truck that is almost 60' in length and over 30' wide to fit on a jobsite to pump concrete. It's also generally cheaper to utilize the machine already on site. Nobody is doing shit until the concrete is poured and cured so the crane operator is free and available for whatever needs that are to be met
