However you removed clear coating and you should add some back with duplicolor clear, you can polish it but the plastic is now weaker which means any rock chip and break it, I would have done all Of this but I would add clear coat then polished it to give it that extra protection!! No. It won't affect the sensor. In my video you can see the sensor unit is behind the emblem. I only took out the emblem to polish it. The sensor is still attached to the car. If your emblem is the same design as my RC then you should be good.
