KANANASKIS | Camping in the Canadian Rockies during Fall
- We left our cabin and set off on our 1 year of travelling across North America.
In this video, we drive from Saskatchewan to Alberta. In this province, we will explore two areas; Dinosaur Provincial Park and Kananaskis Country. In the Canadian Rockies, we will spend three days/two nights, right during the peak of fall colors. From crystal-clear blue lake to the North Kananaskis Pass at 2360m/7743ft of elevation, our time in this beautiful area of the Rockies will surely stay with us forever.

Quite nice how you compose the shots and then put them all together to tell the story of the adventure. Meanwhile we get to see some stunning footage! Nice job! ❤❤
We had fun making it, and we're so happy you liked it!

Magnifiques paysages, merci!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the Canadian Rockies.
So beautiful. Thank you for the video.
I've winter camped before, and I think it's one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Wind and cold are not for me.
AH! We feel you. Maela is very sensitive to cold too, she was not enjoying herself that first evening 😅
And we weren’t even winter camping! Can’t imagine how awful it must be ahaha
Awesome.
What an amazingly beautiful place. I remember how nice it was getting out of the tent first thing in the morning and seeing such a beauty all around me for the first time of the day. I think I’m going to have to dig out my backpacking pictures from decades back. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful experience as you too have just gone on.
Awesome video 😊 Thank you for taking us along
Thanks for watching! 😊

What an amazing country love your adventure I'm a fan from New Zealand ❤
From my Calgary home it was fun to see you featuring Dinosaur Park, Terrell Museum and Kananaskis Country which is such a great 4 season playground…Thanks so much for sharing…IAG, eh!!!🙏
It truly is a great four-season playground! Glad you enjoyed the video!
So beautifully filmed and edited, you could easily believe you had a film crew with you (I know you don’t). Do you ever worry about wild animals or crazy people…do you always feel safe and secure.
Not really! We’re always cautious and aware of our surroundings, but all wild animals that we’ve seen have not wanted anything to do with us. They see us and they leave and if we don’t bother them, they don’t bother us (even dangerous ones like rattlesnake or bears). You obviously need to be careful and use common sense, but animals don’t want to risk injuries by attacking a human if they don’t need to :)
As for human, most crimes happen in cities, so the farther we are from it, the safer we feel ahaha :) most people you met backpacking are cool laidback people!
Thank you, really fun video.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
😊😊
Beautiful trip.👍
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hope you come through Nebraska to see the Sandhills prairie and Carhenge by Alliance
Beautiful scenery …did you see any wild life ?♥️🇨🇦
Thank you! And sadly not.. Nick is a fervent lover of wildlife, even if we only see a squirrel, he’ll film it and put it on video ahaha
Hola
Como lo están pasando en su viaje
Que lindos paisajes cuidese mucho saludos
WW... It seems the Holy Wind gave you a Wild welcme to the Wild Wild West
👍👍💙💛
It looks like to me that you are on a bus man's holiday. Enjoy.
magical location... a bit surprise u guys didnt see a unicorn xD
It’s not because we haven’t been looking!
I watch all your videos and am surprised - we live on different continents, speak different languages and it seems we should be different. But this is not true at all! We enjoy the same things - a fire burning in a secluded campsite away from people, sunsets and sunrises with your loved one, a cozy sofa on the veranda, a candle burning on the table, the first ripe tomato, a bird screaming in a tree, a huge ice icicle on the roof of the house, a beautifully hung towel in your kitchen, admiring the beauty of nature around us!
We are so similar! and all over the world people rejoice at similar things, cry and fear similar things! so why do these damn politicians incite hatred and wars between people who are so similar all over the world...

When will you take this beautiful little girl to a place, where you don,t have to carry 1 heavy backpack, you don,t have to wear hats and gloves to dinner and sleep, but do you get all inclusive service?
I have and she gets bored very quickly without mountains to climb and heavy things to lift ;)
