ohhhh so that's what it's called. For some reason I'd always get that at 60kmph and 120kmph. I suspected it had something to do with engine/wheel rpm frequency but never knew. It sounded like a loud siren.
Thanks for this video, great to see you again. 🎉 Did the wobble at 1:05 feel as scary as it looks in the video? And a side question: Why do you look into the mirror so long when turning?
Thank you so much for this video, as usual. Again, I like your driving so much, safe and mastered, it's a good refresh each time. I'm a bit disapointed by the lack of "personnality" of this BM, based on the video & sound. I expected more fun, more exhausted crakles. It seems they have worked so much to make it smooth, that they have lost the character of the engine. Only my feeling, I've not rided it yet... Comparing to the CFMoto450MT, it seems more fun, for half the price. I'm thinking to such bike as a second one, for offroad and fun. Maybe this BM is too much, better as a first one, not toy one. Let's see what the next BM GS450 will be, if they release it.
Thanks a lot for the nice words! I actually think sound-wise it's pretty exciting for a Euro5+ bike. But I also agree that it is way too expensive for what it is
Used to have ever GEN of F800, the F900 is another beast. Totally different engines. I like the 900 a bit better by tests i've done. But i'll stick to my 1000
@@Real_Claudy_Focan I love sport-touring bikes, F800ST is my first bike, I'm 19, I bought it with a custom exhaust that made it sound way better, but it did not want to pass the inspection, so I had to change it back to stock
Chinese brand Voge for BMW's premium price. KTM has already gone bankrupt because of this dropshipping, I'm waiting for BMW. PS. I'm not saying that Chinese motorcycles are bad, just selling a mid-range bike with a sick margin as premium is too much.

I think it's not a bad thing that BMW created more of a contrast between the GS and the GS ADV since most GS's spend 90% of their life on the road anyways. And if you want to do your 10% light offroading you can, just switch up the tires. Not a fan of the headlights tho. And thx for the non review, I've seen worse actual one's on some channels :)
I got the chance to ride this bike on tenerife the whole day on awesome twisty roads and give you some of my impressions of it: Very nimble feeling bike with a nice engine and good working electronics. BUT: The seat was really hard, had a hard time after already two hours. After almost eight hours in the saddle I really couldn't it handle it anymore. Also the suspension was really harsh, altough the bike wasn't specced with the offroad focused Showa suspension. It really is more of a big offroad bike than an enduro for longer rides. My 24' Tiger 900 GT Pro is so much more comfortable altough it still can do it all while riding sporty (on the road at least). But big respect to BMW, for a really offroad focused rider this bike should be taken into consideration!
Definitely the most beautiful GS of all time👍🏻
Thanks
Wow the death wobble at the start there
Yea
yeah that was scary! No comment from @schaaf about it in the video
1:05 that looks scary😅
it could've been indeed when sticking to the throttle in that situation
That's a no go!
Yeah that looked like a death wobble was beginning!
My t7 does that on 180km/h with pirelli, just ride the bikes below that speed and they wil be fine
@@Schaaf more a speed or tire issue?
Great riding on those tires! Fantastic video as usual!
Thanks a lot, Pete!!
That tire wail is loud. That would get to me on a longer trip for sure.
can't be changed with knobbies

Dieses ruhige kraftvolle beschleunigen, hört sich gut an !
Gruss Danke .
Ps. Keine Zeit. Wohnung neu malen 😊!
Danke!
A Schööfl a day keeps the winter away! Also, head shake! Damn, maybe better with smoother tires, but it still scares me.
That's the tires and high travel suspension. Mixture of those two are prone to headshakes at higher speeds/spirited riding on the road.
Thanks, Disek!!
Danke das erhellt mir den Tag
Freut mich!
nice to see that QS improvement, standing up feels nice on this one
It's excellent offroad indeed
Wondeful sound
Thanks

to see if the camera lens is still clean. The wobble would've been scary without any experience, nowadays I know how to calmly solve those

Nice quick shift! And a wobble at 1.10!! Nailing it as usual. A fun engine?
Very fun!! Thanks

nice riding 🤙 cool bike

a really nice trail
thanks
How come the wobble happens like that with a steering damper?
Tire design limitation?
No idea
How is the F900 engine? I have a F850GS and under 3000rpm it feels like a studdering mess. You seriously have to ride up to 30km/h in first gear.
definitely better in that aspect
Have you tried any of the Benelli TRK line? If yes, how do they compare to other bikes in the class?
Nope, I haven't
i have a T7 and im thinking to sell it for f900gs or crf1100l 24' ...i keep thinking !!
youre shutter from youre camera is at auto ???
look at the description.
@szeriman13 i saw it but dont tell about shutter... so i guess is at auto right?
Yes it's auto!!
1:06 the wobble
Yes
@ 1:07 Min. fängt da Ding bei höherer Geschwindigkeit an zu flattern !?

Nein, nur unter unglücklichen Umständen
Which one is better, this or the Africa Twin?
There is no such thing as the 'better' bike
this, has the same motor with the 2025 f900xr?
Yes, same motor, similar build and position, but front tire is bigger in the GS.
Thanks
Deser X vs F900 GS ?
Why not both
nice!

1.09 bike quite dangerous at high speeds and does not depend on the semi-knobby tires here

The speed wobble isn't good. It can also happen on the Vstrom 1050 DE but only when pushed really hard.
