people are acting like there won't be anymore major themed updates. there will be, and the minor updates like the one that will add bundles will still be 1.x.x updates.
More than absolutely every possible thing, I want an inventory update. It is honestly about time we give up the 64 stack size and make it 100, 128, or more, and add another row. The only inventory increase we have ever seen was a off-hand Slot, but even then, we used to be able to store items in our crafting grid, which was taken out, so we kinda just lost 3 slots.

If you really want an End update, i highly suggest you going to vote on the feedback, mojang pays a lot of attention to community feedback, 1.22 is likely to be a volcano biome 😅😅

End update is important, end is very stale, they could do an entire update like the nether update, new villagers, new ore, new biomes and dungeons. It would keep people happy for a few years. Overworld doesn't really need much of an update so if they did the end update they would just be able to focus on adding more smaller things, maybe some more bosses/dungeons. Then think about a new dimension for the next large update. It kind of feels like a couple people work on minecraft updates while hundreds work on bedrock paid content.
Imagine if we still get huge features quickly in these drops like how they added the nether and its portals just in one seasonal update… that would be awesome!!!
Add wall version of polished andesite, diorite, and granite. Then, some variants for calcite and that other dark block that's on the outer layer of geodes.

If it is that I was wrong, then I was wrong, but it just seems like mojang has been focusing on updating biomes and structures in the overworld for now.

You're getting excited about something they've always done, they're just calling the mini updates something different now (drops). There's nothing new about them, they've just retconned something that's always happened. And lots of people 'are' talking about it, I've seen a lot of videos over the past couple of days about it all after the announcement. You're the one who's kind of late with it :)

If they add an overpowered end ore (“enderite”) they should make it spawn at the bottom of endstone craters to make it more of a challenge to get.
