Wow, this is amazing I am really looking forward to seeing how this progresses, reminds me of my first site I worked on with my Dad, he brought me on as a goffer for the brickies and they paid me at the end of the week on how hard they thought I worked this was just over 40 years ago. Next thing I know after a few months painters show up I get a job with them and I am there to see the grand opening. Then 30 years later I get a job working a stint at the place and they had a 30 year anniversary event while I was there. This brought all that back, wishing Tom Junior and family all the best with the project and keep those videos coming.☘ : }

I live in Ashby de la Zouch and visit Screwfix on a daily basis, THJ's current facility is next door. I'm going to miss seeing all of those fabulous cars arriving and being cleaned and parked outside, always something great to look at.
Exciting times for the business, looks like its going to be a special development. I work in Construction, its a frustrating industry and will be a million miles away from what you are used to. You will experience massive highs and frustrating lows over the course of the build, but focus on how good it will be when its finished and trust the process.....even though at times you will think that's impossible.
Could you ever have imagined creating such an iconic business and now building an iconic showroom and facilities? The costs are eye watering though. My local golf club came up with a great scheme by taking all the spoil from a major development to help create a new driving range! Always worth looking for local projects to help dispose of spoil at greatly reduced cost if you have further excavations.
Been past it today, I see you have some frame work up, we have bought many many trucks from the firs over the years, I don't think my wallet will stretch to a luxury car 😂 but good luck with everything
Nice to see the grafters getting recognition. You will find getting a burger van on site now and again will do nothing but good for the build 👍🏻
