I like Zak brown I think he’s a good guy. You can tell his character. And Tom is coming into his element showing him around this. I’m enjoying this video. Some wonderful finery in that show room this time I can imagine Tom. Get polishing lads. Zak Brown is coming. Maybe he’s bringing his cheque-book
Amazing. Two guys who have worked super hard to get where they are and have what they have, but neither come across as pretentious. Would love to listen to them talk for hours.
Great video. Im a big fan of Zak. Always happy to do interviews and share things with the public. Knows what He's good at and does it well. Deep down, just a car guy, but a student of motor racing history. Id love to spend an afternoon with him over a couple of beers just talking cars.
The line from Zac around the three minute mark about how much value the car increased in a few short years is what these videos are all about. Brilliant, yet subtle marketing Tom.
Came by this by accident but what a great entertaining, interesting way to spend 40 minutes. Two men who really love their cars, A man who owns Andretti's 79 lotus which I saw at the 79 British GP, (last time I saw my hero Ronnie Peterson before he died later that year) has my admiration. Will be watching more of your videos Tom.
Zak is a fan. A true fan and it's amazing to see. I'm a supporter (fan) of the background people who drive and influence the sport. Zak is in my top 5 people who are great ambassadors for the industry/sport.
Could watch/listen to this conversation literally allllll day long. Absolutely love the channel and love the content. Keep up the phenomenal work! Thank you gentlemen for the excellent convo.
Thank you, Tom Hartley. I watch these videos over and over again. I have been " into " cars / tools for 67 of my 68 years. Thank you so much for these.
Slim Borgudd was a Swedish racing driver. I was at a Swedish Kubb Alfa meeting at Karlskoga race track in 1976. Alfa Romeo Sweden had employed Slim for the day to demonstrate the current Alfa line up and I was very fortunate to be driven round the track by Slim in a new alfetta 1.8gt. The way he threw that bog standard brand new car round the track has stayed with me for 50 years. RIP Slim.
Thank you, Sirs. This episode was as informative as it was emotional. Zak Brown is a really interesting man, and this episode has made me a fan of him. Sirs, thank you very much for doing this show. It was time well spent.
FANTASTIC interview and episode with 2 of the most humble multi millionaires ive ever seen. So knowledgeable. My new favourite, Hartley. Dont change ,either of you
Two of my favourite car guys ever. You have to admire Zack and Tom they are real, say it like it is. Great roll-models for generations to come. Great work gents keep kicking-ass and taking names!
My neighbour worked, as a mechanic, with Slim Borgudd during the 70's, including a lot of time in Sweden, and has quite a few great stories about their time together.
Great video. 288 GTO one of my all time favourites, ever since I saw one at The Patrick Collection in Birmingham many years ago. Just wish Zak hadn't interrupted Tom mid-sentence on multiple occasions when he was about to say something interesting!
17:10 I’ve just had a nosy at the last time a 250 GTO sold. I think it was in the region of about €48 million. And this is a nice one that Tom has there.
Amazing seeing all these cars and hearing you both talk so passionately about them. I would love to see all these cars in person and Zak's collection. Simply awesome!
I was lucky enough to meet Zak when UA participated in BTCC. He is genuinely one of the nicest guys and his knowledge of cars, drivers and motorsport in general is amazing and his passion so obvious.
Wow he is a proper car guy great to see he is not just another suit running a car company. Could listen to you two talk cars all day and learn so much.
Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 bravo 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, I love this channel, but this has been my favorite episode thus far, I loved it ❤. Outstanding, pure and simply great. I so wish I could be there hanging out and drinking a Corona 🍺, chatting with these two icons of the automotive world ☺️
There are some people I just like, Zak is diffnetly one of those guys, and I am delighted to see his hard work with all McLaren come to match RedBull. He has worked so hard. Who would have said that McLaren would be up there being competitive to RedBull last year. Cool, he is also a Nigel Mansell, which is my favourite driver, also. Ayrton Senna was special, but Mansel for me. After leaving Williams,(great suspension) 😉 Mansell moved to Ferrari and always remembered Mansel following Senna at Monoco for half that race. He had the speed but there was no way past for therest of the race, finishing in second & completely exhausted, a class driver. He also won in his second year at the Indi-car Championships in the United States. I also remember Prost saying, "Ayrton has a problem he believes he can't kill himself," and that I remember too. Ayrton Senna was special and maybe more talented, but he had flaws, sorry. McLaren has made Formula One much more exciting, thanks to Zak Brown and people like him, such as Toto for bloody Mercedes.😅 I love the room, you must be loaded. 😅 John Lennon & Yokos car, man. Can I have the Porschue 959 will do nicely, failing that the P1, yeah? Lol 👍 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Slainte ❤ 41:46 P. S. All the best to McLaren for the rest of the season to Zak Brown and all the McLaren team. ❤🎉 I'm still a RedBull fan, tell nobody)😅 (TH-cam Gold).❤
Loved this one mate. Had a thought, if you pour the coloured half of the head first the clear would seep around the colour, in the same way the green did in this vid, creating a clear finish you can just polish. You could also paint or finish the flat side of the coloured piece, say black, then it wouldn’t reflect through the clear half like the green did? Hope that all makes sense or can be helpful.
So pleased that Zac and his team including Oscar , Lando and Andrea have returned McLaren to some of it's glory days. More to come. And surely Bruce will be smiling down on it all.
how to tell if two people are rich rich: 'so which williams do *you* have?' 'Oh i have...'
Not sure that there s another place on earth where you can casually walk in and admire a 250 GTO. Best show room ever.
I like Zak brown I think he’s a good guy. You can tell his character. And Tom is coming into his element showing him around this. I’m enjoying this video. Some wonderful finery in that show room this time

One of the best “car talk” videos on youtube right now. Next level knowledge
Wow, thanks!

Both experts, both passionate and both wildly successful in their respective disciplines.

I could listen to these two chat about cars all day. Amazing collection and so much knowledge. Love Zak, such a nice guy.
The best Tom talks so far!!
Tom Hartley greatest of all time. Only 12 good 250GTOs in the world? now that's a spicy topic!
Gotta say, Zak is such a breath of fresh air in F1. Love what he's done with McLaren and looking forward to them being a contender in 2025 and beyond.
Tom’s knowledge is unbelievable. Fascinating video to watch.
Thanks!
Incredibly high quality content - Brilliant.
Didn't think I would watch this whole video and now I am at the end wishing it was twice as long. Great stuff Tom & Zak
We're glad you enjoyed it!
Mr. Brown, you have my respects.
What a video, keep it for posterity. Thanks
Zak is a fan. A true fan and it's amazing to see.
I'm a supporter (fan) of the background people who drive and influence the sport.
Zak is in my top 5 people who are great ambassadors for the industry/sport.
Zak is my idol....i bleed mclaren...so grateful to him the way he turned mclaren around
He has been the best thing to happen to McLaren, since Ron stepped down. Championship winners again! Woo hoo!
Could watch/listen to this conversation literally allllll day long. Absolutely love the channel and love the content. Keep up the phenomenal work! Thank you gentlemen for the excellent convo.

And after his short F1 career Slim Borgudd became truck racing driver with great sucess in European Championship

FANTASTIC interview and episode with 2 of the most humble multi millionaires ive ever seen. So knowledgeable. My new favourite, Hartley. Dont change ,either of you
Great stuff.
Many thanks Tom.
These vlogs are the only chance most of us ever get to actually hear about cars like this.
Two of my favourite car guys ever. You have to admire Zack and Tom they are real, say it like it is. Great roll-models for generations to come. Great work gents keep kicking-ass and taking names!

Possibly the best Tom talks, immense knowledge and enthusiasm, I loved every minute.
Tom Jnr is the only Hartley I like to watch, the other two are, sorry to say, but seem to be up their own backsides
Great video. 288 GTO one of my all time favourites, ever since I saw one at The Patrick Collection in Birmingham many years ago. Just wish Zak hadn't interrupted Tom mid-sentence on multiple occasions when he was about to say something interesting!
Excellent as always. Just need to get Bernie on!
Who knows!...
Love it! Thanks for another superb episode. Two of my favourite gentlemen.
That was great. I love listening to Zac and his passion for motorsport. His passion is showing with Mclaren and there progress up the field.
This was a great watch. I've always liked Zak from watching F1. Comes across well in this.

Nice and great connection with the handshake at the end 🤝 💥
Each video and guest gets better, great content.

If you’re wondering, Tom really is as down to earth and personable in the flesh as he is in the video 😊
Really enjoy your videos Tom very classy and a great knowledge, also Zak such a passion for race cars and motorsport history.
Thanks for the comment!
What a nice bloke ! I can say I have something in common with Mr Brown. I had a VW Jetta as well.
Ah ha imagine pulling up at Screwfix next door and watching Zak hop out his car 😂
Yes, the 'Camel' Williams livery started in 1985 with Rosberg and Mansell. Then, 'Rothmans' from 1994 to 1997.
Alfa 8c with swiss BE Number Plate? Its for sales with this plate?
What an unbelievably insane collection of cars. The insanity only matched by the incredible level of knowledge.
Just seeing Barry Sheene’s #7 helmet gave me goosebumps 👀😎
Entertaining and informative as always.
Two mins in and I love it. Bet Zak didn't bring the cheque book!!
Could be 3 hours long with Zak talking motorsport especially. 👌🏽
Enjoyed that, thanks
