I would have never thought to use this technique for glass jewelry! I love how it looks like fancy blown glass paper weights. Thanks for this video! I'm going to have to try this out.
What also works instead of the tacky stuff and a stick, is suction cups. Like the small ones used to hold up Christmas lights to a window. I discovered this completely by accident!
Ok I love you! Stumbled upon this video......great way to practice watermarble with out wasting liquid latex! Normally practice on my fingers or homemade swatch sticks but by doing this you get a product at the end......I am going to put magnets on mine! Your nail art astounds me and this idea ugh......love love love it! Thanks for posting all you do!
I have to say, thank you so much for your video instruction to water marble jewelry!! I've looked at several, and your is by far the best. Thanks again. I appreciate you!!! And your talents.
This SO totally cool!!! Oh, I see Christmas future presents! AND this gives me a chance to not only practice water marbling, but see which polishes that I have work best....**sigh**
That was so cool to watch!!! I have never tried that, but I am definitely going to be making those. They all turned out so pretty. I just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to the next video.
Hello! I love how your art works go. They’re so beautiful and I love them. Although this video was 8 years ago, I hope you still do them. Now I’m your new subscriber. Best regards.
So cool! I have a couple of these sitting here that I won from giveaways. Now I can do something with them. Thanks for sharing! Me commenting almost 2 years later. LOL
These certainly look like 'fun' lol - BTW looks like Stylish Nail Art shop is having a short break but it has been quite a long break...any ideas when they may return? Thx HAGD always love your nail tutorials...all your tutorials ❤️🐨💅
Those are so beautiful, love the coloring effects. Do you think this would work on Epoxy domes? I have lots of them and no glass cabachons. Thank you so much for the video, it was so easy to understand.
Arlene Spaulding You would be able to, but you can't use polish remover on the domed part. The remover will cloud your epoxy domes. Maybe if you covered the domed part completely with the blue tack or putty, that would protect it.
Yours look so beautiful.... I keep trying this and I can't get the polish to spread out. I used new polish I just got at Walmart and the Dollar store. Is there a trick I am missing?
Kami Dodson-Perry Maybe try filtered room temperature water. It's all trial and error, 'cause sometimes certain polishs don't play well together, lol. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll get it!
I did this and I stuck the flat side of the cabochon to a wide piece of masking tape while removing the polish from the front side to prevent the acetone from getting underneath.
I love this technique. The only issue I am running into is that when the cabochon is glued to the bail, after a while the polish chips off the cabochon taking the bail with it. How do you keep your bail attached to the polish? my glue holds the bail but the polish doesn't adhere well to the glass.
thank you for this technique but I'd like to know how you removed the clay before polishing ??? and if the water marble stays the same after removing the clay ... please let me know if you don't mind... thanks in advance....
Use a glue for jewellery E6000 or diamond glaze. Place a small amount of glue onto the glass and place into tray. Press down and wiggle to remove air bubbles. Leave 24hrs to dry and its done.
I guess I would need to buy some cheap nailpolish...right.? Mine are the fast drying and so that would not work would it.? Or could I maybe use some oil paints.?
I love this tutorial but I have a question. When you use the Blu Tack or whatever one chooses, do you have to discard after each use? I know that's a crazy question, but I cannot figure out any other way. Thank you for this great tutorial!!
I would have loved to get these,!!!! my fav has to be the big circle with the spiral effect,,however I got the wrong resin from a craft shop in cork city Ireland, and what it was ,,was a tin of resin and a 10 mm bottle of hardner that you use drops to amount of resin ,plus you could smell the resin would nearly knock you for 6,,,hopefully I can get the bottles with A resin. ,,,,and B Hardner which is what I wanted all along,,some never turned out the way I wanted ,,and don't know how to dome them, any info welcome thanks again batman logo, kitty cats,,,Lol, cool
Every time I do the water marble for my nails I can never get my nail polish to spread like that and I have tried everything. Do you have any tips for me?

is the polish dropped in straight? or do you need to water it down with ?rubbing alcohol or polish remover?
So cool! I have a couple of these sitting here that I won from giveaways. Now I can do something with them. Thanks for sharing! Me commenting almost 2 years later. LOL
love this must try it. Thank you!!!
Love this project. I'm thinking this would be fun to do along with the coffee cup marbeling at a session in my apartment building Thank you.
Lovely!! You have to prime glass with glass primer before you can paint on it.
Beautiful, but I have a question.
Does the final product smell like nail polish?
love this
Awesome. I saw one like this, but yours are defiantly going to work on dominos
Love this!!!!
Katie Lanson Thanks Honey xx

These certainly look like 'fun' lol - BTW looks like Stylish Nail Art shop is having a short break but it has been quite a long break...any ideas when they may return? Thx HAGD always love your nail tutorials...all your tutorials ❤️🐨💅

Super fun
Yours look so beautiful.... I keep trying this and I can't get the polish to spread out. I used new polish I just got at Walmart and the Dollar store. Is there a trick I am missing?
Use room temperature water
Okay. Thanks. I will do that.
Maybe try using nail polish thinner, it could be that your polish is to thick for it to spread
Kami Dodson-Perry Maybe try filtered room temperature water. It's all trial and error, 'cause sometimes certain polishs don't play well together, lol. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll get it!
love this💅..TY

2020 anyone oh my god this is brilliant
Hi. I love your video. Couldn't figure out what the paints you use though. Pls elaborate...
Nail polish
Mencantaaaa👍👏👏👏👏👏💕

Which paint color r u using
thank for your video sharing!
You can get the cabachons at the dollar store or dollar tree.
Your video is beautiful and your work is beautiful why? The answer may be simple because you are so beautiful
thank you for this technique but I'd like to know how you removed the clay before polishing ??? and if the water marble stays the same after removing the clay ... please let me know if you don't mind... thanks in advance....
how do u make the water marble withlout nail polish
that is awesome!
Is that water in the bowl??
Do you need to seal the marbled side if your not putting them into a setting?
Can these be wire wrapped?
do u have another video showing how u put the glass into the necklace piece
Tina J that's what I'm wondering too

Amazon has flat bottle tops or you can order pendants with chair and glue them on to pendant holder. There are so many videos here to view for this
Genius😘
Very cool. Thanks.
I want to thank you for this amazing video
but I have a question what did you put on the stone to protect it ??
Where did you buy the glass?
I guess I would need to buy some cheap nailpolish...right.? Mine are the fast drying and so that would not work would it.?
Or could I maybe use some oil paints.?
I love this tutorial but I have a question. When you use the Blu Tack or whatever one chooses, do you have to discard after each use? I know that's a crazy question, but I cannot figure out any other way. Thank you for this great tutorial!!
+Marty McCrary Lol I get it. I don't see any reason why you couldn't reuse the Blu Tack multiple times over. ;)
+ohmygoshpolish ...Thank you :-)
Nice!!
0:20 can this type of hooked one can be used for making earrings
that's really fun =)

You can get nail polish thinner :)
