Oh my goodness what's funny is I just cleaned out a drawer and found these rocks that have been there forever now I am going to play with this new draft. Thanks so much and I would love to see more.
I'm going to use this idea and make some refrigerator magnets. You could also put family photos on the back. I would never have thought to use nail polish. Thanks for the great videos!!
wow, ive seen glass rings like this before and i've ALWAYS wondered how they got the little flowerss inside lol i had no idea they were painted on!!! Great idea!
Those options might work for a while, you'll definitely get some wear out of them but it definitely won't last as long as E6000 since it is an Industrial Grade Adhesive.
To be honest, I usually take the ring off to wash my hands. But if your using the E6000 glue, you should be fine. But if your using any other kind of glue, I'd say be careful. ~Gloss and Sparkle
has anyone found those ring bases online or in the store.. i cant locate them please help. Also is there a difference between the acrylic stones and the glass ones?
Amazon and Ebay might be good places. Especially ebay because you'll probably find larger wholesale lots. And I would gather the difference between acrylic and glass is that the glass would be much, much heavier than the acrylic.
Little lady, your're adorable and smart. You did a great job in your tut. I'll bet, either you or your husband painted those leaves around that inexpensive round mirror which turned out so great. Obviously, you guys have great design taste. I painted vertical stripes in my kitchen about twenty years ago, they're about 5" wide and I still love that look, your black ones are very dramatic.
Great ideas!!!!!!!! I have my nieces today and I am up trying to think of something to get them on our Michael's run. This is gonna be an awesome art project for Vacation Bible School kids at church (I'm in charge of crafts). They are gonna love me!!!!!! Thanks so much :)
I really, really love this tutorial video! I love all the different designs you did! The glitter galaxy ones are my favorite! I think that would look really neat if you did the "Galaxy" colors with the water marbling!!
Love it. I'm always up to learn a new craft. I just bought an assortment of clear rocks, nail polish, and glue. I'm ready to go to town. Thank you for this video, you did a terrific job explaining everything!
Amazing!!!!!! The first design is my fave!! Do you think you could make it as a necklace?????? And would it be nice if I used the colour blue as ring????
Love your video and also you are very pretty and that is cool how you make the rings thank you for posting this video! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Goop glue is a better alternative for E-6000. If you don't have that either, you can always try to find a different kind of crazy glue or you can use a hot glue gun instead.
great tutorial! super cute, easy idea! Do you have any problems with chipping or the base falling off because the polish didn't stay adhered to the rock?
E6000 is ok glue but GOOP glue is the best of them all you can also findit in all craft stores and hardware store its very good on rings like you make and very very good on clipon earrings try it some time in your work youll stop useing E6000
Liked the video. What did you do after removing the gem from the water? Do you remove the tape immediately or do you need to allow it to dry first? Thanks!
If you thought the flowers were kinda boring then you can try water marble behind the flowers with blues and then it will look like a Vincent Van Gogh sky .
Okay I made some of these rings yesterday. It was really fun!! I want to know if you have had any trouble with the ring bases coming apart? I gave one to a friend today and the circular part of the ring snapped off the base. OMG!!
Oh my goodness what's funny is I just cleaned out a drawer and found these rocks that have been there forever now I am going to play with this new draft. Thanks so much and I would love to see more.
I absolutely love this!!! Thank you so much for this DIY. I need to go buy some ring bases ASAP

Great idea!
Hi just wanted to know what brand and shade name for the clear glitter nail polish 😊 thanks
Very cute!!! And I love the Dollar Tree!! Thanks for sharing! :)
Love it thank you! Do u think hot glue would work just as well? I dont use e6000.. just hot glue, super glue, or mod podge for my crafting..
Those options might work for a while, you'll definitely get some wear out of them but it definitely won't last as long as E6000 since it is an Industrial Grade Adhesive.
Hi Gloss and Sparkle,
I would like to ask, is it okay for the ring to get wet? Like washing hands? will the cabochon/glass come off?
Thanks!
I love this channel this is great you just got yourself a new subscriber
Loved the hot pink glitter and galaxy ring. I'll have fun trying the marble process too! Thanks for sharing!
Could you make a mood ring video!

Very pretty. How clever 😀
Your DIY inspired me to make my own ring for my family and friends for Christmas :)
has anyone found those ring bases online or in the store.. i cant locate them please help. Also is there a difference between the acrylic stones and the glass ones?
glass stones would be dangerous if they chipped, like if you hit the door jam while walking through it.
Amazon and Ebay might be good places. Especially ebay because you'll probably find larger wholesale lots.
And I would gather the difference between acrylic and glass is that the glass would be much, much heavier than the acrylic.
super easy and super cute! Thanks!!! Great job! I think I'll try this.

Stacy Gaona I did a 2nd video showing more design ideas! It's linked in the description box! :)
It was amazing , can we use other colour liquid object for water marble
If you mean, can you use other objects to dip in the water marble...definitely! I see people water marbling all kinds of things.
I love your striped wall in the background........Can you tell me where you got your mirror that is over the bed?...Thanks !
Need to try this.
Would super glue work?
***** O-O Ok.
***** Ummm, OK? Is there something wrong with my photo?
I found some e6000 at dollar general yesterday and I only payed $2.50 for it!
Abbie Kanipe Wow...what a great deal!
I know : ) I was excited to get it: )
love the decor in your room :)
If you thought the flowers were kinda boring then you can try water marble behind the flowers with blues and then it will look like a Vincent Van Gogh sky .

I did it, they look amazing ^^ I have question, how can I make galaxy effect on the ring?
+TeacherAmani you could always start with white dots for your stars and then do the nail polish well technique for your swirly galaxy effect.
A Amazing video tbh when i first saw it i thought its way too long but when i watched it ,it was totally worth it
That's pretty cool!
when you put the clear glass in the tape did you put top or bottom of the glass inside the tape to marble/
I like the idea! You could also do some patterns like swirls, flowers and such.
pretty cool
Awesome, the streaks of nail polish brush wouldn’t show off ?
Can I add dried flower ?
I didn't see any brush strokes on mine so it hasnt been a problem that ive found so far, and yes, flowers would be beautiful!
I like.all of them
Going to let my daughter do this at her sleepover this weekend! Thanks!
hi there
ur cute
u have beautiful hands and i like ur resin too
i love them they're the best...💜💜💜
Glad you like them! :)
Do you use any type of sealant as a final coat to prevent chipping? Thanks!
does the glue stay with out the nail polish peeling off?
What happens to the cob are you able to get the nail polish off of it?
