    I'm going to use this idea and make some refrigerator magnets. You could also put family photos on the back. I would never have thought to use nail polish. Thanks for the great videos!!

    Love it thank you! Do u think hot glue would work just as well? I dont use e6000.. just hot glue, super glue, or mod podge for my crafting..

    • @GlossandSparkle
      @GlossandSparkle  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those options might work for a while, you'll definitely get some wear out of them but it definitely won't last as long as E6000 since it is an Industrial Grade Adhesive.

    Hi Gloss and Sparkle,
    I would like to ask, is it okay for the ring to get wet? Like washing hands? will the cabochon/glass come off?
    Thanks!

    To be honest, I usually take the ring off to wash my hands. But if your using the E6000 glue, you should be fine. But if your using any other kind of glue, I'd say be careful.

    has anyone found those ring bases online or in the store.. i cant locate them please help. Also is there a difference between the acrylic stones and the glass ones?

    • @MissAmandaLee89
      @MissAmandaLee89 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      glass stones would be dangerous if they chipped, like if you hit the door jam while walking through it.

    • @AlottaBoulchit
      @AlottaBoulchit 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amazon and Ebay might be good places. Especially ebay because you'll probably find larger wholesale lots.
      And I would gather the difference between acrylic and glass is that the glass would be much, much heavier than the acrylic.

    Little lady, your're adorable and smart. You did a great job in your tut. I'll bet, either you or your husband painted those leaves around that inexpensive round mirror which turned out so great. Obviously, you guys have great design taste. I painted vertical stripes in my kitchen about twenty years ago, they're about 5" wide and I still love that look, your black ones are very dramatic.

    • @sparklepink4ever
      @sparklepink4ever 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Goop glue is a better alternative for E-6000. If you don't have that either, you can always try to find a different kind of crazy glue or you can use a hot glue gun instead.
