Angelina did an incredible job with this song. What Angelina sang was age appropriate (she turns 14 on jan 10) and in these days of school shootings in the USA, a wise choice. I think you'll agree. Yes, the song was very short, not even really like a song, but they loved it and her. Her mom wouldn't let Angelina sing Back to Black without changing the words. This has been happening for a while. In her 2nd performance on Norway's Got Talent she was on stage singing acapella. All of the other contestants were on stage, apparently that's how this round works, they just step forward and perform when it's their turn. Watched it and thought, oh, those kids are realizing they're just competing for 2nd place. Felt sorry for them.

Petra, you are spot on. Angelina is destined to be a superstar. I only hope she has representation that will have her best interests at heart and not be in it just for the money. I have never been a fan of the vocal "gymnastics" that so many singers try to do and fail at miserably. Being a former music teacher and jazz musician (old school), I compare everyone to Ella Fitzgerald when it comes to the musicality of vocal embellishments. Of pop singers, Donnie Hathaway, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and a few others are some who I feel got it right. While it is early, Angelina will certainly be a part of that group, too. On another note, I have viewed everything Angelina has on TH-cam. I am concerned that she is being over-sexualized. She's 14 years old, for God's sake. Let her be a teenager and allow her to grow into the megastar she was born to be. Tack!

I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago.
I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me".

This young lady is truly a diamond in the rough, & if possible, my eyelashes get goosebumps, whenever I hear her sing!!! Petra, you are spot on. Angelina is destined to be a superstar. I only hope she has representation that will have her best interests at heart and not be in it just for the money. I have never been a fan of the vocal "gymnastics" that so many singers try to do and fail at miserably. Being a former music teacher and jazz musician (old school), I compare everyone to Ella Fitzgerald when it comes to the musicality of vocal embellishments. Of pop singers, Donnie Hathaway, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and a few others are some who I feel got it right. While it is early, Angelina will certainly be a part of that group, too. On another note, I have viewed everything Angelina has on TH-cam. I am concerned that she is being over-sexualized. She's 14 years old, for God's sake. Let her be a teenager and allow her to grow into the megastar she was born to be. Tack!

It looks like Petra's daughter is developing an appreciation for music. Perhaps a lullaby would be helpful like the famous Abendsegen from the opera Hansel and Gretel. A version by two women can be found on TH-cam entitled "Abendsegen (Humperdinck Hansel and Gretel) Nikiteanu & Hartleliu".
