Dear Petra your reaction also gives us chills with your sincerety and enthusiasm. About this child, she only started ventriloquism two years ago when her Mum got her a puppet for her birthday to help her with her shyness and eye to eye contat problem. She has a number of other puppets, one she yodels with (the puppet yodels as well) and one is an old lade she calls Edna Doorknocker, that one is very funny. Darci has a major disadvantage in that almost all ventriloquists are adult men whose humour is shall we say very adukt, Darci cannot do that of course so must rely on unbeleivable skill and an innocent sweet humour and timing second to none. Along with Mandy Harvey, Darci is the critics front runner this year, but there are so many talented people in AGT 2017 that it is almost imossible to say, and many are children like Angelica, Celine and Merrick.
Sorry hit the return key in error, To continue :- Darci cannot use the adukt humour and has to rely on her charm, skill and perfect timing. I believe she may become the greatest of them all in time. She and Mandy Harvey are the favourites this year so far.

Drew Pall , I am feeling stronger and better than I have felt in a while . Soon to be released from the hospital , just waiting for the nursing/ rehabilitatIon facility I am going to be sent to , to get approved by my insurance and my doctor to release me. A change of scenery will be nice , hopefully soon after that I can go home. Take care- -Bob H

Just found Darci Lynne’s videos a few weeks ago, and I can’t stop watching. Just awesome! Her reaction on AGT when she got the golden buzzer was priceless. Seeing that young innocent uncontrollable excitement/enthusiasm is the main reason I watch. And so much talent. Just warms my heart to see such pure joy coming from Darci and her mother. I have watched that clip close to 100 time by now, And I still get teary eyed every time. Thanks, Darci for warming my heart and putting a smile on this old mans face.
You say "You can't do this." The one you can't do is when, in a later program about a year later, she and Petunia sing Italian Opera. That is incredibly awesome. Nobody in the modern generation can do what this young girl/woman can do. She ranks up there with the great names of ventriloquism - Senor Wences, Edgar Bergen, Shari Lewis. She is good beyond belief.
I still can't believe she didn't win it all with that Opera number. I don't think the public realized how impossible that is to do. Singing opera at 13, plus doing it through a rabbit? Nobody can do that.

Hi Petra; Darci Lynne's videos never get old to me! just like your videos, I can't say enough nice things about Darci Lynne's talent! she is an amazing singer with or without moving her lips and or mouth! when you watch her you forget there only one person on stage, her puppets come to life! you are an actress you know what it's like having to remember your lines and dialogs to the character you are portraying, Darci Lynne; does that in two sometimes three voices and mot get the dialogs mixed up! Another thing to consider about Darci is that she this years Grace VanderWaal , but Grace went on her twitter page and said that the deaf girl is going to win this year. I think she Grace picked her favorite too soon, maybe not knowing Darci was coming up next show

Well, this was another audition that had me saying, "She's gonna win." Last time I had that feeling, it was for Grace VanderWaal, so listen up folks, LOL. I believe she is the front-runner, and the competition will be hers to lose. We've seen only one performance, so far, but if this is any indication, she's got it. (IMHO)
If Darci Lynne continues at this level, she is certainly a contender for winning the big prize. But there are others, especially Angelina Green who have a real chance also. We will just have to wait and see.

This Tuesday (Aug 15) is the first live show for AGT for this season. I hope Darci Lynne shows up on the first show. Grace will be visiting the show to wish the contestants well in their new challenge. Yes! More reactions! I am obsessed with the original clip, and as such, have watched every reaction video. But as the video came out over a month ago now, new ones are rare (though two new ones were released yesterday, and now you've released one, so it seems they're not dead yet!). Hmm.... Hi Petra, the problem with Darci is the ventriloquist act is distracting people from the fact that she probably the best singer on AGT so far. Look up Cheri Lewis, a girl who did this act in the 60s and 70s, her puppets sang then she sang. Hopefully the next time Darci appears she will try that too so people will say WOW, THIS GIRL CAN REALLY SING!
Yes the girl in the 60's &n 70's who I think was either an Aussie or a New Zealandern was actuaklly Shari Lewis and her puppet was just a sock with two eyes sewn on called Lambchop. She was brilliant, sadly died far too young. But I honestly believe this girl is even better. I also agree with one of the comments above about Darci having her own show on TV, It used to be a star had made it when they appeared as a guest on the Muppet SHow, in future I think the sign of greatness will be when they appear on the Darci Lynne show. By the way she is friends to Terry Fator and Jeff Dunham.
I believe you're a little confused. There was a great Danish/American comedian/pianist name Victor Borge and a fantastic comedian/ventriloquist name Edgar Bergen. Edgar Bergen's daughter is the actress Candice Bergen. I don't know whether Darci Lynne is related to either one of them.
