His enigmatic lyrics accompanied with simple direct sentences to link it all together like you see in "Daylight" and much else of his work is just more creative, genuine and intelligent than what other rappers are doing. Aesop Rock is unique and a much needed fresh breath for the worn out genre. I am actually interested to know, who do you consider the "best"?

Aseop, IN MY FAIR OPINION, does not complete that task. and plus his delivery and flow just are not unique enough to promote even a HINT of interest in him.. if you want great lyricism, listen to mobb deep, andre 3000, gza and rza, ghostface, rakim, big pun, big L big daddy kane, common, talib kewli and lupe. they dleievr an introspective message coupled with the profound utilization of incredible lyricism. there are more, but u ge the point
