Goodness gracious! I've really truly enjoyed reading through many of the comments. 99.99% are positive, encompassing, embracing and happy. Mark and Mr. Taster are truly ambassadors of peace and international relations through food, relationship building and joy. I believe from observing Mark for a few years and seeing Mr. Taster (for the first time) and his relating to Mark, you have to wonder how they would be exactly the same when experiencing other people, their cultures and each other because they walk with eyes of wonder and openness while welcoming anyone who comes across their path. Food just seems to be the common ground they both express themselves with. I've never seen any fear or doubt or anger or frustration in Mark. So does the travelling make him special or does he himself make even the obvious, simple and overlooked look amazing. I assume that the latter is the case as even people who are from these cities and towns or have returned from these areas are remarking below how much they miss these places. I think the takeaway here is that what is special about these men is that they view the world with optimism, wonder, cheerfulness, acceptance and welcome. I should also be like this if i want to experience a better life no matter where I am and who I am with. And finally the fact is that the world is full of good people. It's just that our conclusions were incorrect. : )

You are delusional. Stick to it as a food blog . JMO
Love Iran from England!

Wow such rich heritage of Iran🇮🇷 I already know Persian food are the best in the world and i want to eat in the 160 years old Restaurant in Tabriz and i want to surf the entire Tabriz grand bazaar!! Love you Iran🇮🇷 from India🇮🇳
A few people in this city think they are turks only because of the language, so the Algerian Arabs who can speak French are French. Language does not show a person's genetics 🤭🤭
I Love the Iranian people. Thank You Mark for the video. You have shown us their beautiful life.
What a beautiful culture! I love the feeding of the guest and making that person feel special! Mark always does such an amazing job of highlighting less known cultures...new bucket list culture
I actually met him last month in LA. Nice guy. Hope to do some collab with him when he returns.
I am loving Iran .... Hope to visit someday.
I am an Iranian who is originally from Tabriz, thanks a million for showing the real us to the world 😍💚and I just wanted to say we are tired of SANCTIONS.
A fun fact is that in many Indo European languages, Duk means sympathy or pain. But for Iranians, Duk means happiness ('cos of this milky drink). 😂😂
The world is unfair to you. Wish you the best, love from your Pakistani brother
Does anybody wanna teach me? :) i would LOVE to learn Tabriz Accent Azeri ❤️ i can pay or teach you german/ english in exchange
All the Iranian American people I ever met were just the nicest most caring people, and the history here shows me why. May happiness and blessings always follow tabriz
