Our father always says . The guest coming from God and they are friend of God , always respect them and do the best hospitality. My father village doesn't have hotel becouse if you go there people will take you to their house . It's a shame if travelers sleep at hotel instead of their house .

I think most people know that every country is filled with amazing people. But the government is what they are referring to. And the Iranian government is psychopathic at best; religious ideologues who kill non-believers, homosexuals, journalists etc. They directly support terrorist organizations that kill innocent children, women and men in the name of "God". They kill and silence their own citizens to preserve power. They do not allow freedom of speech or freedom of though or freedom of expression. The people are beautiful, intelligent and welcoming - the government however is pure evil.

Americans can be decent people but their government is quite evil. They may be ignorant about their government's misdeeds all over the world being the 'world's police' and 'biggest economy', but that doesn't mean the common people live with hate in their heart.
People should give Americans a chance to learn and distance themselves from their dystopic governmental and financial system.

Lonely PlayerOne Unlike other coutries in middle east Iranians' identity first is their Iranian nationality and after that maybe other things such as religion. Iranians have many beliefs from Islam to Christianity, Zoroastrianism and Judaism and also Agnosticism and Atheism. I am an Atheist from Tehran, Iran and my only identity is my Iranian/Persian heritage which I am proud of it. always remember Iran's regime do not represent Iranian people, we are completely seperate from regime's ideology and agenda which is alien to most of us.

@@Herot145 the new Regime in Iran has disgraced the name of Islam and the Iranian people. You are proud of your Iranian/Persian heritage, than know almost every great Iranian/Persian of the past was a Muslim. Islam was never the problem, the government in Iran is the problem.

@a Iran/Persia contributed many scholars and scientists to muslim world and also the whole world and if I am right the Islamic golden age started by pre-Islam Persians' achievements and also those scholars who revived it as Avicenna, Biruni and many others. I do not deny our role in Islamic world but in future Iran must become a secular country to protect all religious and non-religious population equally.
