Keen Milady + faith. Apply electrify armaments with the gravel stone seal and Golden Vow to enjoy a huge AR and a long buff duration.
Electrify Armament isn't boosted by the gravel stone. Instead you wanna go with highest incantation scaling seal available to max the damage. If youre only going for the golden vow cap at 25, the best seal would be frenzied flame seal with 208 incant scaling i believe. After that if youre going higher, at around 50 faight the godslayer seal becomes the best option, just for the erdtree seal to win out above 70 plus.
@@yarxym7254 I know. The God Slayer Seal is the best up to faith 69, but I’m not using Black Flame incantations. My Dexterity is 75 (+5 with Millicent’s Prothesis) and my faith around 45 and I’m also using the new Knight’s Lightning Speer for high damage ranged attacks and Ancient Dragon’s Lightning Strike for big bosses. The seal adds 15% damage buff to those incantations and I can keep the same seal in the left hand and the Milady buffed with electricity at all times. Very easy to use, hard hitting, and offers all play styles. I can also add the Death Knight Set for further buffs or transform with the Priestess Heart for even more. The Blue Dancer charm can also add more physical damage when transformed due to the light equip load.
Good video. Only a little annotation: 96 poise is useless in PVE. Since enemy attacks deals 50 or 100 poise dmg, 51 or 101 are the only useful value you need to reach.

Milady works brilliantly as cold weapon in so many builds. Yet my favorite so far is quite typical dex/Int spellblade. With cold, it has same AR as sharp at 80 dex (but split damage) which is wholy compensated on frost procs. The COLD AR stays pretty similar when you transfer dex into int aswell, if you stay at 35-40 dex and rest in int it doesnt really lose damage. That in itself is really interesting on its own, as you can use lot of spells suddenly aswell. My favorite being magma shot, to instantly reset frost proc, zamor ice storm to deal with crowds and few more. That makes for very nice starter spellblade build.
But that frost AR lead me to realization how to really boost the crap out of the weapon... Use freezing mist/hoarfrost stomp as ash of war to proc frost (freezing mist works against enemies that dont move a lot, stomp on those agile ones), and infuse with magic on high int build. It gets even higher AR, which is then boosted by frost proc, and you can augment that further by magic shrouding tear, magic scorpion talisman, multihit tear+multihit talismans and even terra magicka for some bosses. But thats not all!
All this made me realize even cooler thing, and that is using ranni´s dark moon spell as boss fight starter. Using just this spell or few more frost pots after it freezes basically every boss in game instantly, while also making them take additional 20 percent more damage! (currently bugged to be only 10, but still). And best part is, you no longer need cold ash of war and can once again use wing stance for maximum damage.
Buffed by all this shit (and pls note that its not "prebuffing", its all incombat, but you can certainly use golden vow on top of that from consumables) wingstance L2-R1-R2 onc dealt almost 20k damage on boss, not to mention few thousands on start with rannis dark moon and that frost proc. While being casual spellcaster aswell, and still working just fine with that 20 mind and running in solid armor.

What stats
one milady on frost another in blood.
4:00 stat scaling
Str --> hvy/fire art
Dex --> keen/lightning (aow)
Int --> magical spells/frost build-up (4:14)
Fth --> flame/lightning (non-aow)/holy spells
Arc --> bleed/poison/sleep/madness build-up
None for rot/deathblight
There are some exceptions but that is the basic meta.😮

Flame art attunement in milady goes hard for a faith/dex build obviously no status effects on it but it is a good faith spellsword build for the dlc
I agree I destroyed the Scadutree Avatar with it
switching between flame art and sacred was my go to... lot of enemies are weak to holy damage in DLC, and it absolutely obliterates them. Wing stance R2 for 5500 against messmer phase 2 for example.
But somehow I just feel like cold affinity is most thematically on point for milady

Saying that frost damage doesn't scale off of any stat isn't exactly true. The frost build-up doesn't scale, but infusing the weapon as frost adds int scaling to it's damage values. The damage is then split between physical and magic scaling. If you want your frost weapon to hit as hard as it possibly can, you will have to increase your physical damage stat (primarily dex), AND increase your Int.
Milady high scaled with Magic enchant. Like a top, if you compare it with others. So i assume this weapon is better for Carian Knight builds.
On maximum level, Milady has C with Int and D with Arc. Status effect with Frost is 105 per hit, and 83 with Blood.
No way this weapon for Bleed Build. Even Sacred enchant has higher damage.

Amazing guide
On blood builds, I use the occult affinity to get the damaged scaled off of Arcane, so you can have high damage and bleed build up. Just dump all of the extra stats into Arcane instead of dex.
That only works on base weapons wich have blood loss as passive effect, and base milady dont have any passive effect, you cant go occult milady having bleed
You can also use it if you have a nice level in faith + Dex it scales very well with flame art and do more damage than the others (keen, bleed)

thoughts on powerstancing blood + cold miladies?
From my personal experience with light Greatsword powerstancing, it's shit for me bcos of how long it takes to recover after a powerstance attack and the damage is a bit low compare to other powerstancing weapon(such as curve sword, twinblade). I kinda hate the jump attack bcos, same with the previous reason, take a long time to recover + low dmg. Consume tons of stamina too, just like every other powerstancing but do less dmg and take a long time to recover makes it hard for me to love it unlike using one Milady, I can manage my stamina better and dodge easier.
Maybe it's different for the other(I'm just skilled issue I guess)
Edit: I think I play powerstancing with fast weapons like curvesword, daggers, and twinblades too much that I can't adapt to two Miladies
Quality is the best affinity for this weapon
Cold infusion goes hard
It does pretty well with heavy, too.
But you have to be at least 200 level for quality build

How much bleeding you make blood flame is affected by anything? It's just that I used it in the milady for a while and I never activate the bleed and my build focused on arcane
Bloodflame blade alone hardly adds bleed build up. It's best with a weapon that already has bleed infused in it like the nagakiba. You'll notice how fast bleed procs
How do you add the blood ashe of war as well as the wing stance?

Can you start the dlc grab a milady go back to base game Ng+ it then rush to dlc and grab another milady? Or need to bear some boss at the dlc? Still at the base game

I almost always start with the samurai class. But overall it doesn’t really matter. You could always respec along the way

nope, for 2 handed use str is better, for 1 handed dex is better.
you are wrong, check the stats in a calculator, if youre anything plus lvl 180, quality with points in both strength and dex destroys keen even one-handed, as both stats now have B scaling
@@shadmanaziz i was of course comparing point to gain ratio. If you have 80 str, 20 Dex for heavy, 20str +80 Dex for keen or 50/50 for quality, heavy and keen wins out for you point investments. I literally could not care less what happens when you max out all stats

You can't use bloodflame if you infused the weapon already

I have been using the milady and while it is an absolute beast of a weapon, I find it difficult to beat bosses with it. I have 73 poise and still get staggered out of the winged stance combo. Plus it's impossible to dodge attacks mid attack. I tried it against Rellana and the hippo boss. I manage to bring the health down to 1/4 but then run out of flasks and die. I am at 15 scadutree and equip 10 heal and 4 mana flasks all maxed. Can someone explain how to attack and proc effects using Milady. I never staggered bosses with it as well even with R2 wing stance attack. I run the staggering tear in the physik still never stagger. Then in the end I give up and go back to backhand blades with blindspot. But I really wanna use milady for bosses
I’d say stop using wing stance when the boss doesn’t have a very long opening in between attacks. Try something like impaling thrust instead.
@Mushroomancer But almost every boss in the dlc is super aggressive. Idk how people are pulling off big combos woth milady. I don't even trigger milicent and royyen winged sword with it. It's one of the best weapons in the game. But I'm simply not able to make use of it. Watched tons of videos of people using it. But I'm unable to replicate those results in any boss fight.
@@thevalhalla3635try using charge attacks then 1 light every opening. The key is to find the best timing and do not expect you can combo every time. Most bosses stagger after 3 fully charge attacks, I've done a 0 scadu frag run with just milady and it went well. Satisfying
@@thevalhalla3635 if you are watching other vids of people positioning themselves up for and can’t replicate it, maybe the play style isn’t your thing. I know that feelin, but instead of banging your head to the wall, find what works for you first, and then as you get immensely better you can try experimenting with fitting in other movesets and things

I’ve seen people run this build with cragblade. It’s pretty effective for poise breaker builds. Might be worth it if you’re running a parry/poise build

arent you trying to put it with elemental/poison/blood ash of war? For cold affinity you must use str/dex/quality/cold/magic ash of war.
