THANK YOUU VERY VERY MUCH
erdtree seal better tho
@@flaregod9563 up to you, I was just typing out the build from the video
would do godfreys icon for the 4th talisman for another 15% more skill dmg
@@danielbeutel8124 nope cus the skill aint charged
Can we just appreciate the fact that the blasphemous blade actually looks so fucking fitting while wearing the Rakasha set.
You can use an Oil Pot to increase the next instance of Fire Damage by 50%, and Well-Pickled Turtle Neck or Pickled Turtle Neck to enhance stamina recovery speed.
@@doanquoctoan2506 I LIKE TURTLES
I reccomend using the Oil tear in you wonderous physics flask since you will get up close with your foes anyway.
I keep trying new builds, and always come back to this one. It just has no flaws whatsoever. Everything is killable with this setup
I've used a variation of this very build since the dawn of time and the man is right, it slaps. The DLC only made the Blasphemous Blade more powerful with the aforementioned buffs in this video. I used it, in fact, to absolutely destroy Radahn in 4 attempts. Yes...4. Normally I run a bleed build because I find it more fun. But if you're struggling, this build will see you through. Great video man.
Much appreciated 🙏 :)
If you use a Mimic spirit, it will also heal itself when it uses the blade. This makes it way tankier. If you have some warming stones equipped the Mimic will use them too, to heal itself.
If you equip the "Blessed Blue Dew" talisman it will.allow you to regenerate FP over time. This mean you will not need to use your blue flasks very often and can use the blade to heal yourself instead of red flasks. So you get very good survivability that way too.
Im running this build in DLC i added Oil pots to throw to enemies 😂 they burn easily. And since you have high faith you can use Blessing of the erdtree so you regen hp while using bloodsucking crack tear
Thats smart! I thought about the erdtree blessing, but I didnt want to overwhelm the viewers. :) the oil pots tho, you cooked!
The hefty oil pots are some work to farm but oh man, I dig em
U need too use the pots since they nerfed this blade
What nerf? If anything Talisman of the Dread just buffed it
@@booleaninfernusstudios5352 it used to stun on hit but now it doesnt.
Thats the nerf.
But its irrelevant with the pots
Should use Blessing of the Erdtree incantation if you need more health regen. It regens 12 hp per second for 90 seconds. For total heal of 1080 health. FP cost-60 It's helped out quite a bit in boss fights. If using Carian filgreed crest, lowers it to 45. Allowing several uses per 1 flask.
Ya! Ya!
+Bestial Vitality
I use that sword, always. It's the best weapon in whole game. It's ability to give hp back is a game changer. This sword makes caves, catacombs and tunnels easy to complete without worrying about hp flasks. Must have weapon.
True, true and true 👍 👌
I also run the Sacred Relic sword to get rid of mobs, with the Blasphemous Blade on my back to get the health bonus.... works a treat when you need some stand-off if you have run low on flasks.
Thank you very much for this great video and to everybody in the comments. Yesterday evening, I tried to kill Promised Consort Radahn with my int build and couldn't. I have watched this video before and changed my build to this one. And on the 5th try, I got the Radahn. Gosh, I even did not use any summons. Thank you very much again! Guys, please try this build it is super fun to play. I check your other guides to make a fresh start instead of NG+.
THANK YOU!, I'VE Tried alot of build some weapens from dlc some from base game but wow you're build is THE BEST!
Glad you enjoyed it!
If your a high enough level fp consumption doesn’t matter use the dragoncrest great shield talisman instead
Ya
I actually didn't know about the _Talisman of the Dread_ and I thought I've searched every nook and cranny of the DLC.
I don't want to ng+ yet before I got everything available in my first run of the DLC.
Thanks for that info and thanks for this build.
Glad I could be of help, enjoy your NG+ :)
I feel that!! I'm still in NG, and want every advantage I can get before NG+ and just spank the bosses on my next play through
worth mentioning, this works with the gargoyles black blade too, which is also gettable at the very beginning of the game if you get night mist and/or black flame and use either to cheese the gargoyle outside of the bestial sanctum. this gives you the ability to pivot to holy damage. its beam attack does pure FTH scaling holy damage, and also carries the black flame % Hp over time damage. blasphemous is always better unless fighting something with more than 50 fire resistance.
the good news - great build and it really works to melt bosses. bad news - for me it was melting them too fast. I started to not enjoy the game and could not get a chance to see what are the bosses movesets. they die too fast with this build. my advice dont use it until you actually try the bosses with other weapons, and die alot and see their movesets. when it gets frustrating then use the blade.
Respect.
The fact is. I used this weapon to normal attack all bosses except for Promised Radahn and it was a very fun experience 😂
you can add more damage for the dlc by having your scadutree blessing a lil bit overleveled ( I 3 or 4 shot the dancing lion) and using the kindred of rot exhultation along with using the deadly poison perfume bottle for 20% more damage
I rolled into the DLC with a Blasphemous Blade build at around level 150. I figured I'd upgrade when I found better, cooler weapons. Bulldozed my way through the DLC, beat most bosses first try, and ended the DLC with the Blasphemous Blade. I'm not saying I'm good, I'm saying that the Blasphemous Blade is stupid OP. Tons of damage AND heals you? You can face-tank anything because you can out-heal them.
100%. Lucky you, my 1st time with the DLC was an old school L1 bonk build. At times it looked grim lol
Pair the sword with milos sword as well for dual wield stance breaking jump attacks. Also very strong. And it regenerates your fp on every kill. Good for saving on flasks.
You can get the blasphemous blade within 3 hours, and that's if you are an avrage player. Rykard is easy, just use the lance with royal's knight resolve and serpemt hunter in off hand and hit with crouch+light while dual wielding.
Blasphemous Blade, Dark Moon Greatsword and Mohg's Sacred Spear uses to be the PvE trinity.
Blasphemous Blade is still there but with the nerfs I think Bloodfiend's Chicken Stick and Impenetrable Thorns are the new trio.
Ritual Sword Talisman over Carian Filigreed Crest, extra 10% damage everytime you hit max HP.
I wanted to use it but I thought about it this way. Bloodsucking is constantly making you below full HP to benefit and when you hit and go bk to full HP you are stuck in animation before you lose it again.
@@OUSAYT except! If you use mimic tear, at that point you won't ever dip from max health 🤣
Also howl of shibrari for the buff instead of flame grant me strength
@OUSAYT If you stack Blessing of the Erdtree, it cancels out the Bloodsucking Cracked Tear.
@@OUSAYTuse Rykards rune with it… instead of stat boost every time you slay you get hp back so you’re always topped off
I have been using FextraLife's Blasphemous Herald build -- I tend to prefer mixing in jump attacks with Blasphemous Blade and a second greatsword along with using Takers Flame rather than just spamming the weapon skill. It is just so versatile, inside and outside of boss fights.
ARMOR: Rakshasa Set, except chest is Raptor's Black Feathers OR Gravebird's Blackquill Armor
MH: Blasphemous Blade (alternate Gargoyle's Blackblade for enemies weak to Holy Damage as it has a very similar skillset to BB)
MH (Alt): Clawmark Seal (scales with Strength and Faith)
OH: Iron Greatsword with Flaming Strike/Fire Afinity (alternate Sword of Milos for trash to regain FP on kill OR Gargoyle's Greatsword with Sacred Order/Holy Afinity to pair with Gargoyle's Blackblade OR Cinquedea to boost Stone of Gurranq)
Shard of Alexander
Talisman of the Dread
Great-Jar's Arsenal
Claw Talisman
Golden Vow
Flame Grant Me Strength
Blessing of the Erdtree
Stone of Gurranq (go to incantation for mid-long range attack)
Lightning Spear (go to incantation for longer range precise attacks)
Black Flame (go to incantation for when range is needed and enemy is weak to fire)
50 Vigor
26 Mind
30 Endurance
15 Dex
40 Str
9 Int
50 Faith
9 Arcane
If you want to take this build beyond 150 like to 200 or 250, bringing Str and then Dex to the 55 soft cap, it will allow you to wield Bolt of Gransax and Golden Greatshield for those times when you feel like extra long range nuking and/or guard countering. While you can't have all of these weapons equipped simultaneously, you can most certainly keep them in your inventory to swap around as you see fit. Then bring your Faith up to 80 to crank up that Taker's Flame damage. Rain of Fire (buffed in 1.13) will be available at 52 Faith, so just a few extra points is enough to use it and it stacks up even more damage in boss fights. At this point, upgrading and using the Fire Knight's Seal will be preferrable over Clawmark.
Excellent video dude, subbed.
Thanks for this breakdown! I've been using the Blasphemous Blade since I got it and I LOVE it. It's so good it's unreal. I will definitely be trying your build suggestions with it.
what i do is use an int&faith char with BB.
Because Golden Order Seal will have best Incantation Scale topping rest as IS will take bonus also from it as it makes it best Seal; even better then erdtree. Plus all the sorcery. Rest goes to endurance and vigor. Enjoy.
very consistent and dependable weapon. One of my absolute favorites and I even did an entire playthrough with just this weapon on NG+4 i think... Kinda gets old because of how consistent it is but still worth it even up to now.
100%
Thank you for inspirational video. My faith is 99 on NG+2. Just bought the DLC. Sounds like lots of fun!!!
Hope you enjoy it! Have fun :D
This weapon is so broken and kill the game ، but it’s help against bosses who makes you hate this game like Radahn and Malenia
Hi, with this build impenetrable thorns works well? That' s a sorcery scales in faith and I have this doubt. Thanks for that build.
Impenetrable thorns scales of Arcane not faith. It would still work just not as strong and you would need a staff to cast it since it is a sorcery. :)
@@OUSAYT Ok, thank you for your answer.
Thanks for the vid bro spent the last few days irritated on the final boss, finally just defeated them time for a NG+ 😂
Instead of the last talisman, what about aged one exultation and self proc frenzy with madding hand and black dumpling equipped?
It would be great 100%, I was just trying make it simple enough not to overwhelm the viewer :)
Use rykards great rune with the rit sword talisman instead and you’re gonna watch your vitality stay full all the time😊
i started using BB the latter half or so of the base game. i thought with the DLC i would have to use a larval tear and try something else because BB had been "nerfed." i just kept it and right now i am in Shadow Keep working my way through that. So far so good.
The nerf is barely noticeable and it gotten better 100%.
It's the best, most easy mode weapon in the game why would you have to respec
@@henrik7891 i had not played the DLC when it first came out. there were several patches and people were talking about it getting nerfed so i was uncertain how good it would be in the DLC and the much tougher enemies. So i was thinking i may need to play a different weapon.
Best weapon in the game.
I played this entire DLC. Need to beat (final boss next) with the blasphemous blade and Mohgwyns Sacred spear. White mask, Radahns armor flame and fire spells and golden vow beast vitality fingerprint shield and mimic scadutree and revered ash at 17 and 8 currently. With little to no issues at all. Fun time
W
Also something a bit inconsistent but you can put the meat dumpling in your hot bar and your mimic (if that’s what you use) will use it to heal and doesn’t get poisoned as it’s immune to status effects
For the best amount of damage swap out the carian filigreed crest for the two handed talisman for a 15% increase in damage when you two hand blasphemous blade
It does not stack with the ash of war otherwise it would have been an easy decision :) i did alot of behind the scenes testing that most people don't see. :)
Honestly you could get rid of the scorpion charm and the fp reduction for the erdtree talisman +2 and crimson medallion +3. Since takers flame heals a flat 40+ a 10% of your max hp you’ll get more healing from having more hp.
I would be add on this Sacraficial Axe in ln left hand kiling enemies bring back fp
I usually walk around with BB in the left hand so I get the HP benefits while just walking around. It’s like having unlimited red flasks.
Smart :)
What would be the best seal to use? Would the dragon communion seal be better?
I was able to finally beat Rakshasa with this loadout. Thank you!
Remember, when you become too strong for the game, your worst enemy is Boredoom The Imdone King.
If you're new to the game but decide to follow one of theses multiple OP guides on TH-cam in order to achieve a "God Mod" or something, all the early game stuff you skipped just by going straight to the goodies you need will remained undone simply because you're just too strong now. You can beat Elden Ring while skipping the majority of its content, to me, that's its biggest flaw.
These guides are good for those who played the game to death and are now searching for something different to try.
Can squeeze a bit more damage with Ritual Sword Talisman in the 4th slot. You're going to be constantly healing so chances of staying at full hp is high
I only beat Rykard 2 days ago and I am definitely gonna try this out. I was already a dragon cult incant faith build so I won't even have to change anything up.
Have fun!!
Thank you for this ! Works like a charm
I was finally be able to beat all major bosses in the DLC because of this .
Now only Radahn remains
Glad I could help! Good luck!!
This is an amazing build I’ve been maining it since I started the DLC and it’s been the best it just sucks the bosses don’t get stance broken or staggered but I have 0 complaints love the video❤️💯
Appreciate the love
Oil soaked tear in your flasks would be so much better. It cranks fire damage up a ton.
Yep! Yep!
Been loving this build in a lot of situations /bosses, but I got absolutely destroyed by Messmer and anything that's fire resistant, I.e dragons, etc. So much so that I have to respect to another build just to fight these bosses.
Swap Carian for Age of Exultation, Rakshasa's Helm for Black Dumpling and Howl of Shabriri away. You can also quick swap a Poison perfume bottle then combo with Mushroom Crown.
All these Blasphemous Blade videos however, I'm afraid FromSoftware's gonna nerf this again in future updates. At least though its only op in PvE, that just might be enough for FromSoft to leave this awesome weapon alone.
I hope it survives the cut, its pretty fun. Personally, I think it will. There are a bunch of fire resistant bosses which kinda balances it a bit unlike the chicken leg. It just domes everything.
getting frenzied to trigger those shit get real annoying, howl of shabriri is pretty good, how ever black dumpling and age of exultation require u get frenzied I prefer just using the poison crown and poison amulet just trigger it with perfume before boss fight for 30% more damage. 20 sec is enough to kill most boss
Just recently found your channel & really like the effort you put into your videos. Keep it up man❤
Glad you like them! I appreciate the love!
Build starts at 3:15
This was a good ass video. Blasphemous blade got me thru the base game. I just switched to moon veil for the DLC
Awesome Blade,Had my First playthrough with it, practically obliberated Most enemies and also some Bosses, iam excited to Go Back to this build
Have fun!
Nice one. Didnt know many facts here.
Ty, I look forward to trying this out
Idk why but Rykard was by far one of the toughest bosses ive fought yet. Its my first playthrough, but ive gone through a lot of the mosses already with relative ease but for some reason this guys 2nd phase humbled tf out of me
I hope you are using the spear you find at the door of his fights. In phase 2, when he raises his leg you have to do a charged attack to stun him from doing his skull BS. Much easier once you know that :)
@OUSAYT yeah it was just a vigor issue. Every attack he has 1 shot me and I would get to phase 2 just for a stray but if fire to kill me.
this build is freakin amazing...i thought most these builds from utube r trash but not this one...just started usin it and...omfg
I’ve been using blasphemous blade through lately but not this intensely, I gotta step it up
Blasphemous Blade cheese was the only reason i have beat Malenia and rest of the base game. In DLC i switched to Rellana Twin Blade and sprinkle some magic onto it. Same cheese, different style.
I dual wield it with the Sword of Milos. So you get life and FP steal. I barely use flasks ever.
I concur. I run both swords.
How do you get life steal with sword of Milo’s?
@@charliemulligan8539 you get 5 FP with sword of milos on kill just by holding it.
@@charliemulligan8539 You get it with the Blasphemous Blade. You get FP steal with the Sword of Milos. So if you run the Blasphemous Blade as your main and Sword of Milos as a dual wield, you get FP and life steal. Even with the Sword of Milos on your back you get the FP steal. Taker's Flames generates great health and Milos gives you a little FP back. Every enemy you kill you get some fp and health back. Plus, Sword of Milos has a good buff as well.
great build like some have suggested oil in flask and dragoncrest or two-handed tailsman for the last
The two hand talisman does not work with the skill, but the rest yeah :D
Does dual wielding g blasphemous blades recover twice the health?
no i dont think so
The oil-soaked crystal tear boosts fire damage to enemies also
You could use the two handed sword talsiman for another 10 percent boost while two handing the weapon would just make it even better
It sadly does not work with the ash of war. I tested alot of talismans. That one does not work :)
ty for sharing this build, i decided to try this build on pc and used mod that allows me to grab everything for free so i was able to start off the game with the secondary build you shared. upong doing everything i one shot margit with no dmg taken. i would like to say you can buff your dmg a little more using flesh and i bumped the strength and dex to 30 and 20
Cheater
Would swap carians for ritual sword tali since you're max hp so much, free 10% extra damage.
I used the same build to beat Radahn but with no Rakshasa armor. It took me like 4 AoW to get to phase 2
What a great guide bro. The BB is the one!⚔️🗡️
Appreciate it!
appreciate your video's, good infos on quite easy builds. *subbed
Appreciated
I dual wield this sword with Claymore or any similar weapon with fire ash. Never needed the item or talisman-based buff in the original game I guess in the DLC this is the only option.
Is this effective against Radahn? Because that’s who I’m stuck on to finish the DLC. I’ve cruised up until him and I’ve tried like 4 different builds
Sadly, no traditional build is "effective" against radahn. He is annoying with small windows for punish. The shield poke build, which you can find in the channel, makes light work of him 😀
You specify Royal Remains set but at 5:42 in Gaius fight you’re not wearing it … ?
If only you could clean the junk off of this blade. It is so ridiculously OP even after the "nerf" that made it's AOW no longer knock down foes like Lion's Claw and greatly reduced it's poise damage.
Does the Finger seal work better for this build than Erdtree Seal or Giants Seal?
If you are using the seal to cast the buffs, it doesn't matter. If you are using it for some spells, then what type would matter :)
Easiest build to fight in pvp. Wait and roll left when blade is close to striking the ground. Then rush with spear, rinse and repeat.
Can i get a guide for the furnace golem please, i cant stagger it. Ive hit it over 100 times in one run with a +10 collosal weapon and it refuses to stagger. 95% of the time it just pucks me up in the first few seconds and drops me in it's inferno. I'm really starting to believe youtubers mod the game to make it easier. I've seen so many stagger the golem in 3-6 heavy hits
This build got the me through the whole game for the first time ❤
Noice
I’ve been trying the oil soaked cracked tear but I can’t tell if the range is worth it over just using oil jars.
can I use Dragon Commune Seal instead of Finger Seal?
Yep, any seal would do! It is used to merely cast buffs. If you are using spells then consider which ones is better :)
Great video, im gonna try this next time i play the game. I also subscribed to your channel. Cheers.
Awesome, thank you! Enjoy 😉
can i use oil crystal tear ? in place of bloodsucking crystal tear?
Ya 100%
I LOVE the Blasphemous Blade. The healing is clutch as heck and as you demonstrate here, the damage ceiling is VERY high.
LORD RYKARD WOULD BE PLEASED.
As family 👪 ❤
@@OUSAYT TOGETHAAAAA WE NO STEP ON SNEK
Is this better than bloodhound build?
What level is your scadutree blessing at for build 2? I’m at 14 and wondering if it’s enough for the build
I do not remember tbh, it must have been between 10 and 14. Yeah, you should be good :)
i can see it cause around 6k damage in one skill attack , i use same build against PROMISED CONSORT RADAHN but it cause around 3k and I'm not sure is that because radon is resistant to fire or because my build ?
does it work well in NG+7? because Impenetrable Thorns is dead.
“It might be expensive” about fp cost… well Im a rotten breath user so
lol
I like elden ring playing though New Game + 2 was just wondering can this build still work just watched the vid really looks cool don't have dlc yet.
Yeah, It would :)
Can we finish the dlc with this build?
Yeah 100%.
Thought of the Icon Shield as well?
How do you distribute at level 279? What areas would they go?
I would max faith for higher damage. Boost mind to have more FP for casting. Bump HP and endurance a bit with whatever is left. :)
What do you do with the Furnace Golems?
You hit their legs until you hear the poise break, 3 times. It will fall down, finisher it for very high damage. Jump with torrent when its leg is as high as possible. When it jumps up move away and jump up the after effect.
@@OUSAYT SO your still using the Blasphemous blade though, same set up?
Could probably use aged one talisman and howl of shabiri to add another 20% damage
nice. i frustratedly switched to BB after fighting Radahn about a million times, and eventually got him
Love to see it!
Ngl, I’m Lowkey trash at Elden Ring and the Blasphemous Blade has been carrying me through everything.
My only issue is it's a OTP build. I'm not against them. I use them now and then. Just gets a little dull spamming the same thing. Still it's a solid build.
Yeah, of course. Always tune any build to your style to enjoy it more. :D
I like that I can beat Radahn at level 70, and I cannot beat Rykard at level 110. I've watched multiple people beat him at like level twenty, I've leveled up the serpent blade, I've learned his moves. I always get F'd in the second phase, lol. Severe skill issue.
Can use another seal ?
Why dont use shabriri?
Does this still work after recent patch? Did it get better or worse
It is unchanged, just as good as portrayed in the video which really good 👍
Does anyone else see rykard, from the very beginning, that he looks like a curled up fist?
