Bobby was also an excellent accordionist and had his own dance band. It is so sad that his life was cut short during what should have been a routine operation. He is missed by many people, myself included.
Brilliant, reminds me of being in Dornoch at fanclub weekend , what a great time we had, met the great Pipe Major what a wonderful gentleman to remember. Fiona Berwick
First heard the lads in kendal Cumbria. Supporting slim whittman. Fantastic night. Last saw the boys outside penrith . Jack was just getting over an opp for nodules in the throat. Good bunch of people.
Colorado are absolutely brilliant
This brought a tear to my eye when Bobby walked out playing the pipes , brilliant talented person , R.I.P Bobby Coghill
Love this version one of favourite tunes
the late great Gordy Davidson on lead guitar, he never really got the recognition he deserved, hope we meet again gordy, on the square.

I haven’t heard the name Gordy in a long while, though I have a cousin named Gordy. Last time I saw him we were young in the 1960’s.
