My wife Scottish like n we live in Glasgow. N we got married in a hotel in Georgie square for those familiar to Glasgow. the people of Glasgow are just amazing folk! We had all our pictures took around the city centre at well known sites such as cone head! And my wife looking stunning in her wedding dress was just getting clapped by everyone while we was walking about! What a day and that song just brings it all back to me.xxx
I am very proud of my Scottish roots. I am part Scottish part Inuk from Canada. My father immigrated to Canada from Paisley near 40 years ago & married a beautiful Inuk woman (mom) & the rest is history. I love Scotland & feel such a powerful connection to the Highlands everytime I visit ❤

we used a completely instrumental version of this at dance class when i was 11 and then when i was in 3rd year we sang it in the school choir, i can play it on the recorder
if i remember rightly when i was in 3rd year at high school the junior choir (which i was a member of) sang this at a concert and i think we did it A Cappella... it was a long time ago
