CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Quaid (Colin Farrell) and Melina (Jessica Biel) use guns to protect themselves and travel around The Fall as they float in zero gravity.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Douglas Quaid (Farrell) is a factory worker in New Shanghai. He's got a stable job and a loving wife (Beckinsale), but upon learning that a company called Rekall could grant him the memory of the ultimate espionage adventure, Douglas decides that a virtual vacation is better than no vacation at all. But in the midst of having the memories implanted, something goes haywire, and the system breaks down. As the authorities close in, Douglas flees, joining forces with a fierce rebel soldier (Jessica Biel) on a mission to track down the head of the resistance (Bill Nighy), and take down the tyrannical Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), a power-crazed leader who seeks to control the entire free world. The harder Douglas fights to defeat Cohaagen, however, the more difficult it becomes for him to determine whether this is real life, or simply all part of the complex Rekall program.

This scene is so well done
Except it gets the physics wrong. It wouldn't go from 1g to 0g to 1g. It would be more gradual I think.

This remake was awesome. Dont care what anyone says. Good casting. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
It's an average movie and basically not much a remake of 1990's Total Recall, which was more gritty, brutal and had some humor. Plot is very different with only few elements similar to the original. I prefer the old one which had a lot of character with state of the art practical effects. This one is only CGI that makes all movies look the same.
This film was utter crap. Not even 1 star.

Armor that those special forces are wearing are as useless as Stormtrooper armor.

A Machine is unable to reverse gravity. Its a force of nature .
It wasn't the machine reversing gravity, it was gravity.
In a zero g environment, wouldn't the gun send him spinning? Considering it's exerting force on one side of him, not in his dead center to make him simply float backwards.

cause chemical propellant are extremely reliable. the only problem is with this scene was that they were using KRISS Vector SMG. which doesn't recoil backwards, but recoil downwards

@SugarDaddy1963 what exactly did you not like about the movie ? I watched the movie too but felt there was something missing, just can't figure out what exactly. It has good action, editing, decent cgi but I don't know what's wrong with it exactly and it's driving me insane.
