I might be late in realizing this compared to everyone else, but I just noticed that both the Joker and Bane start out their movies in this trilogy as being disguised as one of their own henchmen basically.
I'm mostly impressed with how Bane only needed one try to successfully insert a venipuncture needle into the arm of a struggling subject. Man missed his calling as a phlebotomist.
This is fucking absurd and believable he is somewhere in some 3rd world country probably Africa waiting for Putin to eventually die and return when no one is suspecting
Well perhaps he should have been wondering why they only would have been expecting one, when by that point they knew CIA was bluffing about throwing them out of the plane
An interesting contrast between this and the beginning of The Dark Knight: Joker's hired guns in the heist from the previous movie are so disloyal they kill each other for a bigger share of the loot. Bane's men are so loyal they are willing to die for the cause at any moment. Two very different threats.

The Organized Coordinated Gang of criminals Joker hired to do the job represents himself as an Agent of Chaos as he tricks them all into killing each other breaking the organized plan he cooked up to them for his grand scheme , while Bane’s followers represents the selfish foolish masses in Gotham being deceived into carrying out an objective that doesn’t benefit them at all.
Crash investigators....THIS WAS ONE HECK OF A PILOT!!! The plane lost both of its wings and the tail... but he still kept that baby in the air for a full extra minute!
I know some find Bane's voice problematic, but I find it suits Bane well. The contrast between his voice's polite, jovial nature...that sometimes sounded gentle and so rational that directly contrasted with the sheer brutality and cold ruthlessness of Bane's actions...it just downright unsettled me. Just brilliant.
I think some of it is a problem with distribution. He sounded like crap when I caught the movie in my cheap local theater. But now I'm watching this scene at home with some fancy headphones, and he sounds spectacular. It's distorted in such a way that you can barely understand it on cheap audio gear.
the voice isn't the issue, it's the mixing and adr/inconsistency. there are times when it feels like hardy changes recording booths in the middle of a scene and sometimes it's near-incomprehensible. sometimes, like in this scene, it feels far too loud and clear compared to gillen's dialogue

So, what they had done as an alternative was change the camera angle for cinematography effect. To make it appear like Bane was right up in the camera, as if he was talking to the viewer and as if we were right in the action. If you notice during 2:35 and 4:18 the camera angle changes from third person to first person. This serves a couple of reasons: It gives a sense of verbal distance. The closer the angle to Bane, the louder he appears, and also directly serves for the purpose when he is talking in very few scenes to deliver a more impactful experience. The closer the camera is to Bane it draws the attention to him so his lines demand authority. The other reason is central gravity; while there is chaos happening around Bane, it takes us more in depth of the scene. It allows us to feel as if we are right in the action and also delivers better facial ability to Tom Hardy as he can only express through his eyes and much more through non verbals as we cannot see a majority of his face. It makes Bane a lot scarier as we can see how calm he is and the control that he has. Anyways, just saying that movies usually have explanations for small details like that and serve purposes.

Sometimes I feel like Tom Hardy is an underrated actor. He is my favourite. His performance without a doubt was crucial for the success of this film. Films like The Revenant, Warrior etc are truly epic because of his admirable dedication and commitment.

Disintegration before crash. It does happen in extreme stall situations which they simulated here. Commercial plane bodies are not designed to withstand high G-forces and strain like military or space craft are. Depending on age of plane etc, disintegration can occur. Watch some of the extreme stall flight videos on the FlightChannel

I did. On my birthday. It was the day of the Aurora shootings. It was somewhere around this scene when the power went out in our theater and everyone freaked out because of what happened in Colorado. Me and my buddy sitting close to the theater entrance nearly booked it out of there, but we decided to wait. They restarted the movie and we were on edge for the rest of the movie. Talk about extra thrilling.

Sometimes I feel like Tom Hardy is an underrated actor. He is my favourite. His performance without a doubt was crucial for the success of this film. Films like The Revenant, Warrior etc are truly epic because of his admirable dedication and commitment.

Commercial plane bodies are not designed to withstand high G-forces and strain like military or space craft are. Depending on age of plane etc, disintegration can occur. Watch some of the extreme stall flight videos on the FlightChannel

The movies looks amazing, but it’s often remembered as being littered with plot holes. All the cops get sent into the sewers might be dumber than the “Martha” scene from Batman V Superman.
Why did TF did Bane wait so long to nuke Gotham? The answer is plot convenience, obviously, but this movie was honestly hilarious at points it shouldn’t have. Talia’s death still cracks me up to this day.

A city destroying itself under the influence of fear toxin or just snapping under Joker's chaotic schemes is a creative scenario. Bane's nuclear hostage situation is just months of literally nothing happening because they just had to get the Batman back-breaker in the plot and give him time to heal.

Me and my buddy sitting close to the theater entrance nearly booked it out of there, but we decided to wait. They restarted the movie and we were on edge for the rest of the movie. Talk about extra thrilling.
