You guys are among the most positive vloggers around,I have been following you for a while, even when you folks go to hell on earth, you find positive. You have really highlighted China the right way from food, culture, architecture to the people.
Haha, buying honey cake is so fun. You feel like there are too many cakes, but the shop owner feels like there isn't enough cake. The 10 yuan portion is too much, but I can eat it for 2 days. Give a thumbs up to the honest Chinese shop owner!!
@@ericliumeno no, cake is sold 10yuan/500g, the picking-ups are under 500g so the lady just give some additional stuff to Naomi. by the way, naomi understood it correctly

You guys should definitely try 乳扇 and 乳饼, both considered local specialty foods of Dali. They are made from fermented goat milk and taste a little like cheese. 乳扇 can be roasted and filled with rose paste or red bean paste, or it can be deep fried and enjoyed with sugar. 乳饼 is usually pan-fried and served with salt and Szechuan pepercorn, but the best way to enjoy it is 火夹乳饼, where it's sliced with thinly sliced Yunnanese ham pieces in between, like little sandwiches
18:33 Before departuring to Yunna, "The goal is just have one backpack each and no check-in", said Naomi. When you are travelling in Yunnan, "we can buy a bag", said Naomi. Lol🤣
The vloggers' vehicles do indeed look charming, and the sight of quiet electric vehicles passing by on these narrow streets adds to the charm of this beautifully green and environmentally friendly city. Each corner of the city captured in the videos is peaceful, well-organized, and filled with an abundance of delicious food that one could never seem to finish sampling.

Welcome to travel in depth in China, and thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences. This is the first time I see someone taking such detailed photos of Dali. It is such a desirable place.
As a Chinese, I have to say Naomi is really good at recognizing the ingredients and making guess of the conversation even she doesn't speak English. And the honey can be added into the warm or cool water for drinking, hopefully this could help you get it empty in a faster manner hahaha

I highly recommend you to go to LiJiang, Xishuangbanna in YunNan as well, it's very beautiful, and you could try small pot noodles in YunNan, have fun!!!!
To be honest, I have watched a lot of videos about foreigners traveling in China, only this couple with basic respect for China, . This is very good, foreigners do not need to love this country, as long as they break the prejudice, harvest a wonderful journey, and will share with their family and friends to introduce China, it is enough.
Foreigners have been brain washed and are arrogant over China and Chinese people, no matter what shit countries they are from, even though some of them are much worse than China.
Now I look forward to your video updates every day. I always feel that the video time is too short and not enough to watch. In the future, I hope to see more videos of you sharing your travels in China.
Many cities in China have sharing electric bikes, about two yuan for 15 minutes, very cheap. In addition, I also recommend you to travel to Xinjiang and Northeast China this season, which is the most beautiful and comfortable season there. In winter, you can also go to Harbin in northeast China, where there is an Ice and Snow Festival, which is very fun and lively.

Watching the videos you took of Dali, the familiar houses, streets and food made me miss the experience of living there for a few years. Thank you! Dali is a city with a slow pace of life, which is different from Beijing, Shanghai and other big cities. In every corner of Dali, there are many painters, musicians, writers and other celebrities who come from big cities to live a quiet life.
You guys just hit the big time. The New York Times, with the tile "Why Chinese Propaganda Loves Foreign Travel Bloggers" written by Vivian Wang, mentioned your vlog.
Hahahaha the title of article is telling so much of the intention. It really should be “ Why foreign travel bloggers love China so much”😅 they love to twist the truth.
Many people are arguing about villages, towns and cities which are real symbols of China. For who live in villages in their childhood, study in towns on high schools and go to universities and work in big cities, they are all precious memories. We miss the tranquil, peaceful and "underdeveloped" time, too. A prevalent Chinese poem says, "In the old days, time moved slowly, with slow carriages, horses, and letters, a lifetime was only enough to love one person." And it's adapted to a pop song, which almost every Chinese person loves.
Naomi and Luke, use the honey with slices of lemon with warm water every morning or even evening, it’s good for your throat and health in general especially after eating greasy food, fry food, spicy food etc… Dali is a very nice place. I notice that many people are confused when you mention WeChat and Alipay. That's because most Chinese people, especially older people, don't know what WeChat is. We normally call it "Wei Xin", which sounds like "we she-in". As for Alipay, we call it "zhi fu bao", which sounds like "cheer full pole". And when you talk to the people selling any kind of staff, you can call them "lao ban", meaning boss. Those are the more familiar expressions for Chinese people in mainland China. Love from China.

The honey vendor looks genuine and trustworthy, clearly a local, selling large jars of fresh honey for just 2, which can be easily sold at the market. Even by Chinese standards, 2 is exceptionally cheap. With an abundance of honey available for everyone, an additional $1 can secure its delivery via clean and efficient logistics to any city in China. It's baffling for countries that don't understand this, focusing on production, once of tea and silk, now of eco-friendly vehicles and smartphones, to perceive China as a threat. China does not plunder resources but rather sells its goods at affordable prices, mass-producing inexpensive consumer items.
Dali is a nice place indeed. We honestly enjoy using the e-bike to get around the lake! It gave us a useful tool to get into proper local villages. More coming from Erhai lake in the next video 🕺❤️

That is exactly why they are a threat. USrael only likes corrupt regimes who are willing to be their slave vassals, not self-sufficient countries.
