Gamakatsu Big River hooks have been really good for me. They rarely spit them out. Wish I didn't have so many things to do.... I'd find some water like that and spend a day or two.
I love them. Caught fish on all but one so far. I'm glad I got the 10-17lb rods for the river I fish also. The extra back bone really helps when fighting big steelhead.

@@VaughnAdventures It’s what keeps us up at night and gets us up early in the morning. I absolutely love winter steelhead.

They've been working great! I also use the gamakatsu bead hooks with some success.

Yeah I wouldn’t play with anything lighter than 15 for steelhead they will beak that shit flopping on top like it’s nothing

Two fish caught in this video were over 15 pounds. In today's age that's a giant.
