Gotta say I love your enthusiasm buddy you can hear the excitement in your voice everytime you hook into a fish , LOve the video and the titlle - NO B .S JUST FISHING ...Thumbs up from me
We have a bubch of dirty worm patterns. Lots of people drift them below a float then add a split shot 18 inches up. We have a few jig style flies also. Many people fish the flies this way for steelhead and trout. Any of the flies will fish well. They are great when the fish are targeting minnows and nymph flies. But yes worms kaboodle we have. Even make the dirty pink worm. Thanks for taking the time to write back.Keep in touch!
Very good steelhead fishing footage. Very enjoyable. Must have some strong ass line not to break with those hogs in that current. Good luck in the future.
Nice fish! Maybe don't drag the wilds up on the bank and keep them in the water so they can breathe. They can seriously hurt themselves by hitting their head on the rocks. Handle with Care. If you can, carry a net with rubber mesh. They already have a high mortality rate after being caught. Fish on!
Buddy that was just an incredible watch! I have never fished steelhead before. I live in Manitoba Canada and I do lots of walleye and pike fishing. But this just looks so cool. I subbed
Head out to your west coast sometime and go get after them! I've never caught either of those fish but I've heard Walleye is some of the best tasting fish. You would love steelhead fishing for sure. It's a rush!! Thanks for the sub man!
I grew up trolling in ocean with my old man. He bought himself a fancy expensive rod and went steelhead fishing on the puntledge river. Hooked a 19lb steelhead, took 45 mins to land. Up and down the river he went Landed that trophy fish we dream about, hung up that rod and never went again. Still waiting for that fish. Haha
Damn your old timer must be lucky 😆 to buy a rod and then go catch a trophy with it is pretty difficult. That's awesome you guys have that memory. Stories like that will transcend generations.
My float rods are both 10'6 10-17lb and my spinner rod is 8'6 10-17! All Strykers! I love them. They tried to get me to purchase the 6-12lb rods and I had to explain to them the rivers I fish don't have cookie cutter 5lb steelhead hahaha. These fish put Stryker rods to work!

Wow man you had a heck of a month! All on beads besides the one spinner fish? Nice work.
Yeah all my fish this year have either come on beads or spinners! No jig or worm fish.

Awesome vid brother! No BS legit title!
Thanks for taking the time to watch it!!
What’s that river called again? I’ve been there when I was a child. I forgot about it and can’t bring it back to my memory
I'd hate to say it out loud. It depends on if this is actually the river you fished! Do you remember any nearby towns or cities?
@@VaughnAdventures correct me if I’m wrong but I remember it being near Auburn, Kent, Enumclaw
One of them three
@@troytormanen9545 no unfortunately It's not the river you're thinking of. Never fished those areas before!
very nice video!!! 👍
Heck yeah thanks Vu!! Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
what a beautiful run.Check out our flies . You can drift them under floats.
I don't fly fish much so I wouldn't know which ones to use! If yall make any worm or egg patterns I may give it a go.
Whoa!
Whoa is right!!
Bring a fuccing net!!!
Thanks skank hunt
That fish is challenging
It really is. I specialize in trout and steelhead so It comes naturally for me but even then it's difficult finding and catching one.
awesome video man is that the 9'9 stryker rod?

What rod is that??
Stryker
Correct! All three of my rods are Stryker rods. I used to use okuma but I upgraded then recently.
I challenge you to release the fish without touching them. Bonus if you also keep them in the water.
Hahaha thanks!!
Quit whining
Dude nice trip ya had But please don’t rake em all up on the gravel
Hey thanks man!!
