Besides their amazing talent, what made Led Zeppelin so great, was having total control over their music. What was sad, was critics criticism of everything they did, while fans obviously loved them & still do. To be a new band & be signed by Capital Records, with them not seeing them preform live, & also get the total control was amazingly impressive. Then for manager Peter Grant, to get them 90% of ticket sales, instead of the measly 10% that was the norm. Greatest band to ever ROCK our world.

Bieng the greatest Rock Band in the world is something each of us can feel but if you get hundreds of millions deciding the same thing ! Then it can be argued they are . So do I think they are !’? “ who am I to say they are not 😊😎👍

If it keeps on raining, the levee is going to break! What a stone cold CLASSIC! Plant's no slouch on harmonica, and I wish he would've played more often. Thank you, Alan, for once again having the needle-drop of the day!

@@alan-reacts65 Both albums are great! Listen to Plant's albums with The Band Of Joy, and The Great Pretenders - world music, Masters of Jojouka etc. VERY beautiful music!

I love Plants harmonica playing, I wish he’d have done it in more songs.

Still one of my favorites from Led Zeppelin.. Bonzo’s beat, Plant’s Harmonica and vocals, Page guitars and Jones bottom bass all sound fantastic….

OT, but today (March 2) is the anniversary of Rory's birthday.
On topic, one of my favorite Zep songs....

Zeppelin was the first and last! They'll never be another band like zeppelin again! Those days are over! Everything is corporate pop same ole same ole same boring music now!
