at 6:36, why is extrapolation defined as making predictions outside the data range "incorrectly"? I thought it was just the act of making said predictions

Why is median at 18 for interpolation between 16 and 21

It’s was just an example I made up! In this example there must have been 35 data points. Therefore the median would be in the 18th position and then you use interpolation to find the value of the median.
