So g for most exam boards they use 9.8 but final answers normally it will say, if it doesn't say check the front of the exam paper, it often says 3 SF unless stated otherwise.
I'll be writing my exams next October, so I still have time. I was wondering if watching and learning from the video is enough to answer atleast a few question from past papers?
At 22:57 part b could we also have started straight away by converting the resultant force into the magnitude using Pythagoras and then continue with the question as normalso that we automatically end up with the acceleration magnitude?
Nothing's sticking!! I've tried everything; practice questions, going through notes & the textbook but I don't understand anything. Do u have any good studying tips specific to mechanics??
Can U plz suggest another video like this that covers all the mechanics topics.. like a crash course video??cuz I'm a caie student and I have my mechanics exam in a few days and I'm really stressed about it 😢 6:26

how do we know what amount of significant figures to leave answers to ? you only leave it to 2 s f if g is involved.

52:41 how come you don’t use 609 as the clockwise force as well
Because I was taking moments about A so the distance is zero therefore the moment is zero
@@DrJamesMaths ohhh that makes sense I was stuck on that part of moments for a while, thanks
Hi at 11.20s instead of using integration can we use the formula for a which is v minus u divided by t and obtain velocity?
No because v-u/t only applies when it is constant acceleration which it isn't in this question
I'll be writing my exams next October, so I still have time. I was wondering if watching and learning from the video is enough to answer atleast a few question from past papers?

Exam is at 1:30 and I’ve watched this video twice now. Huge help. 🫡
vectors is not in syllabus right? f or m1 its not written in the cie 9709 24 syllabus
Not in the cie explicitly but you need to use them with forces and it's in the pure section of the syllabus
At 42:46 shouldn't the displacement be positive and the acceleration negative or vice versa?
You can take which ever direction you like to be positive as long as you are consistent
make a stats one too
would be helpful

what’s wrong with final 10min? It’s my iPad problem or it’s just 240p😂
