A few months ago now I uploaded a video which explained the A-Level mechanics course and somebody requested I do the same thing for statistics... So... Here it is! Please remember whilst watching this video that I hadn’t studied statistics in quite a while hence was very rusty. I may not have explained some things very well but I’ve done my best to try to help.
I aimed to explain everything, ranging from the binomial and normal distributions to hypothesis testing and statistical surveys. At the end of the video I’ve shown worked examples to assist my explanations, similar to ExamSolutions. Please additionally bear in mind that I took the AQA A-Level course hence that is where my own knowledge and methods have originated from. I truly hope this helps! 🥰

The sample standard deviation is not = population standard deviation/ sqrt(n) because that is the standard error. The sample standard deviation is =sqrt[(Sxx)/(n-1)]. The n-1 is only used when calculating sample variance and standard deviation. This confused me so much and made me not want to touch stats. Hope it helps someone. Good luck 👍
