Killed over 40 dear with a bow over 20 were bucks NEVER once did I hear that swack sound like when a 2x4 hits something hollow and not recovered my deer. Congratulations on a Great job very well done videos I enjoy and learn
In Wisconsin under current law it is my understanding that you can have a bow in the field at any time day or night as long as you do not have an arrow knocked.
@@thehuntingbeast well, I don’t know when they changed that regulation but it’s always been my understanding that you must have your bow in the case within 30 minutes of the close of season, if you’re in the woods. And so you just have to bring a simple cloth bow case, to put your bow in if it’s going to be more than 30 minutes for you to get out of the woods. I just read the regulations and there’s no mention of it. So I suppose it would probably be up to the individual warden whether he’s gonna pinch you it on it. I called the DNR after I reread the regulations and ask them that question and they didn’t know the answer. They said they’re going to call me back when they have an actual answer.
@@thehuntingbeast it seems you are correct according to the DNR they called me back. I can stop bringing my little case with me then. But as far as shooting the deer, if you find it, that’s going to be up to the Warden, whether or not you can do that.
I love that you show the journey and not just the hunt that killed the buck. Puts into perspective how you got there and how you did it. Very nice buck and hats off to your friends who gave you the tip on where to find that buck. Not a lot of guys will do that for you for free. Even my best friends don't tell me that kind of info lol. Awesome hunt!
Y'all are great hunters but I don't understand why y'all use those white lights? Those game spookers from way back. Green ya can walk right up to deer when it's dark. Give green a shot been a greeny for over 20 years 👍🏻🦌🇺🇸
Nice video as always I wonder if I may ask a question so I live and hunt in north central Florida and on this wma that I live one mile from it is about 60/40 swamp and pine row that almost never gets cut back or any shoot lanes cut in so when I say it's thick it's thick way thicker than anything I have seen on yalls videos you ain't walking through it and no trimmings allowed so I usually find myself in the knee and waist deep waters of the edges and I have seen lots of beds and trails rubs and on the dryer areas some scrapes but we have a unique situation that happens on this wma and that is lots and lots of daily airboat activity mostly in the daytime and I'm figuring out that the airboat is probably the best way to hunt this area but do you think that the deer get use to the airboat travel and would that make for a tightened up bedding situation now I have seen and bumped deer in here and just about anything that is actually available to arrive at by foot has lots of pressure and ladder stands I want to learn how to figure out this wma and then move on to the next wma everyone tells me to find a different wma but there is deer in here and they are huntable its just very tough. ... anyways thanks for all the videos yall at T.H.B. share I think I have seen just about all of them please keep it up
I think if there is daily use of air boats they would get used to it, but you still gotta get close without them figuring out your there. Could you use a quieter boat, like a canoe?
What is the reason for carrying your bow after dark? I see it often on videos and most states do not allow shooting after dark. Is it just for pictures?
I know cameras don’t show the greatest but that shot looked to be a pretty good little poke and from release to impact one could about count a full second haha.. congrats buddy.
You talking about not seeing many deer in Indiana I live and hunt in Kentucky 15 - 20 yrs ago I could sit in about any tree on the public I hunt and see probably 20 deer just about every time I’d go. Anymore I might not see that all season times change I guess
Awesome job! Little tip put a 2.5” s hook on your pull rope and open the hook up some. It works great for fishing stuff you drop! It has saved me many times!!
Awesome buck Congrats! I think I actually have pictures of that deer but could be mistaken. Were you around Southeastern Wis hunting the kettle moraine unit? If so I’d share any and all pics I have of him with you.
Good job! Loved watching. Had an accident taking down a tree stand and cracked my sternum. So, watching others work hard and be successful makes my day, thanks!!!!!
Really enjoyed your video. Sharing your thought process. I do the same w my buddies in Ct via text. It's all about sharing the stories and the knowledge. Hats off to you guys!
Josh, that was pretty freaking awesome!! I know how fast things can unfold, so the fact that you got that much footage is pretty incredible. Great seeing and hunting with everybody again, and I’m really glad Gary and Ninja were able to get you on some deer. Great shot, great story, great times, and hopefully many more to come. You’re a Beast Josh/Gary/Brad aka Ninja!! We definitely gotta find you some new head gear though, lol just kidding…if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it 👍🏼. Way to go bud, CONGRATULATIONS!!!👊🏼💪🏼🦌🏹
I hear ya Josh. Indiana sucks on deer population. I live in southern Indiana. I saw one spike during the whole firearm season this year. I left it for future seed.
Congratulations, that was a great vid. I'd say you have got your monies worth out of that spando-flage head cover😂 Do you really have that low of a deer density in your part of Indiana?
#TheHuntingBeast Why in the hell would someone go squirrel hunting where people are deer hunting? I call those kinda people wood clowns, they have no respect for fellow hunters and they walk all over the woods breaking every branch that has fell out of the trees for the last 20 yrs. They make so much noise they sound like their wearing some of those giant oversized clown shoes, "Wood Clowns"...lol
My uncle hunts state land and every year on bow opener which is mid September normally, squirrel season also opens. The mung will run around everywhere shooting at squirrels, you just let them walk right by you. They don't even see you and the deer let them walk right on by as well. My uncle killed a 125 inch deer shortly after some mung walked by him. The deer came out of the corn, 7 yard shot with his recurve. Yeah wasn't a monster buck but got him in the pope and young book.
Sasquatch pooping behind Josh @ 23:50
Nice buck and brother , we do have marshes in Indiana . At least where i hunt there are ? Jefferson county .

Hey, for future reference. You can’t be walking in the woods with an uncased bow that late after the season closed. They’ll get you for poaching.

Thanks for the advice anyway... I try real hard to keep up with the laws regarding hunting because we film everything. But its easy to miss things
Great footage! Nice buck.

They are tailing does right now in southern Ohio
Glad buddy told ya about not rubbing in certain areas and was right. I do not think a buck rubs all the areas he roams.
Dig the head cover, and great buck. Congrats
Dang! Nice deer bruh!
Awesome job! Little tip put a 2.5” s hook on your pull rope and open the hook up some. It works great for fishing stuff you drop! It has saved me many times!!
