Great Video. Looks like so much fun. Would have liked to see footage of turning on and warming up the defender covered in snow. I'm guessing in this environment a new Discovery or Range Rover with appropriate tires would beat a defender partly due to the terrain response system?

All the advice about getting snow chains 'Buddy' etc. are missing the point. Personally I like too see what these things can do un-aided. Also, the advice about not racing the engine applies to all models without traction control. t/c won't work until the wheels are spinning.
If you put Wintrac 4 Xtreme tyre's on your Defender you would just keep going. I have them on my Range Rover P38. Check them out. Believe me they are second to none. Absolutely Awesome in snow or torrential rain or summer. They stick to whatever road condition like glue.

Tu dégonflerais pas un peu les pneus? Cet aide ( beaucoup ) et tu ne devras pas faire tourner ton moulin comme un fou!
Way too much power. Snow chains or snow socks would definitely help. Nice scenery though. Makes me really want a defender again!

40cm is no problem for a defender. Just switch to the low range and youre done
