@@bryanvivanco8603 I'd specifically restricted myself to planes with a WSO for my first playthrough. Otherwise it would probably have been an F-16. The SU-25 being slow turned out to be a boon. The change in tactics it forces meant that the air mines weren't as big a pain.
Hell yeah, SU-25 gang. Probably the most intense fight I’ve had in a flight game, really glad I brought the frogfoot for Mission 20. And the burst medium missiles to insane damage if you use them like a shotgun, so the final 2 phases where hit-and-run tactics between orb attacks is required in the frogfoot, actually wasn’t that bad since the Medium rockets have massive hit boxes for planes

In the f-14 with prez knocked out you can no longer Drop air to ground munitions, pilot has the bomb release button but Rio has weapon selection switches Use long to medium range radar modes, Rio controls most of the radar operation though the pilot can enter short range dogfight modes (5-10 miles) Navigate using the F-14s initial navigation system, though you can still us TACAN. Use the targeting pod, all of the targeting pod controls are in the backseat the pilot only has a monitor for it. There's alot controlled by the Rio though the pilot can still select air to air weapons and fire them (the top gun switch on the stick), use the radar in dogfight modes (a mode that reduces the radar range and automatically locks the first target it sees within either a cone on the HUD or a vertical strip from the center of the HUD to the highest point of the radars vision). But as for combat operations of the aircraft (other than flying it) that's all the pilot can do
I'm pretty sure she was getting sick or something. In the missions leading up to this she complains about how she feels as if she can't keep up anymore.
Lore-wise I like to think Monarch becomes more reckless and pushes planes to their absolute limit as the story progresses and he's forced to fight tougher pilots and more advanced planes. It pairs up nicely with unlocking AoA-capable planes by the last third of the campaign and shifting from high-g maneuvers to "would-absolutely-kill-the-people-inside" maneuvers

Thats one of the questions of the game. The 'Monarch' callsign, is it because he wants to be a King or its because he wants to be free like the Monarch buterfly? Look at his emblem. It might be a crown, it might be a butterfly.

Now I've got a new headcanon of Monarch punching it back to the highway to check up on her, and then when Monarch pulls her out and desperately tries to wake her, Prez just stays limp a little while longer to screw with him.
If you think about it, not taking Prez along for the last mission by flying single seat would also guarantee her survival as she’d probably be stuck back at the highway and thus would still survive

Crimson in his fucking skeleton of a plane at this point seething out “Not yet!” As the rate of his attacks seem to pick up even faster, and his maneuvers more wild marks him with a level of determination that I won’t soon forget.

Then again during "Siren's Call", the rest of Hitman team ask Prez why she doesn't get her own plane and join them as Hitman 4, she replies "Monarch already treats me just fine." I admit its not a lot, but I am convinced that if they are not lovers, then Monarch and Prez are certainly friends with benefits.
my problem with the dog fight is that you can easily dominate him during the first 2 phases but the last one is like he summons the susanoo to fight you there's no damn way to counter that
I feel your pain. I like to get up close and personal with cannons but the 3rd and 4th sections have those spherical damage fields like you mentioned. You can actually see them as points of light in the sky before they expand 1 or 2 seconds later but it's still not really enough time to evade them. Just gotta do missile jousting like in the video and not sit on Crimson 1's tail looking for a shot.

It’s 25 bucks ands its great game to play but on controller it’s a bit awkward because they don’t have the button settings for tutorial you have to figure that out and there’s no check points so you best know what you are doing
So, its AC6 & AC0 combined...man that ending... I think what we are suppose to take away is...What were we even fighting for? In the end we weren't doing it for a nation, not loved ones not for freedom and for glory. We were doing it simply because we were paid to we made a deal with the Devil aka our payers & we were literally sentenced to hell. The price of a King. How far are we willing to push to stay in power and maintain our thrown. And the ending shows, though we won with our friends by our sides everyone threw it all away... for what... for Victory. A simple title. In the end both side threw away their Values and morals. The federation refused to admit defeat setting the world on fire. We as the ace were the symbol of a tragic victory. When we chose to engage Crimson we threw away our values and honor just to kill him. For us as the player the final battle was because we chose to kill to the last man... for money... we lost everyone we risked everyones life for power and in the end we as an Mercenary... a Monarch king now are alone. Was it all worth it...what was the point of even fighting another mans war...just for money, greed, and power which in the end cost the lives of everyone we love in the end...we chose to become alone. And that is the consequence we must live with one of selfish righteousness and greed...the war was won...but we as the player lost. We lost the nation we chose to protect and in the end would protect us but in ruins we have nothing but the money and greed stained by our blood, their blood. The true path of a mercenary or the tragic truth of a king that is us for the player to decide either way we truly were a monarch playing with the lives we were entitled to protect and in the end we sacrificed them to remain the last man standing. So in most planes with WSOs the pilot can still control the weapons if something happens to the RIO. The only reason the WSO exists is so that the pilot doesn't have to juggle so many things at once, but the pilot can still operate the whole aircraft after a couple button switches.

this fight feels like a reverse of ac:0 mission 0, where cypher is the one who lost it and pixy has to stop him.

It’s 25 bucks ands its great game to play but on controller it’s a bit awkward because they don’t have the button settings for tutorial you have to figure that out and there’s no check points so you best know what you are doing

So, its AC6 & AC0 combined...man that ending... I think what we are suppose to take away is...What were we even fighting for? In the end we weren't doing it for a nation, not loved ones not for freedom and for glory. We were doing it simply because we were paid to we made a deal with the Devil aka our payers & we were literally sentenced to hell. The price of a King. How far are we willing to push to stay in power and maintain our thrown. And the ending shows, though we won with our friends by our sides everyone threw it all away... for what... for Victory. A simple title. In the end both side threw away their Values and morals. The federation refused to admit defeat setting the world on fire. We as the ace were the symbol of a tragic victory. When we chose to engage Crimson we threw away our values and honor just to kill him. For us as the player the final battle was because we chose to kill to the last man... for money... we lost everyone we risked everyones life for power and in the end we as an Mercenary... a Monarch king now are alone.
Was it all worth it...what was the point of even fighting another mans war...just for money, greed, and power which in the end cost the lives of everyone we love in the end...we chose to become alone. And that is the consequence we must live with one of selfish righteousness and greed...the war was won...but we as the player lost. We lost the nation we chose to protect and in the end would protect us but in ruins we have nothing but the money and greed stained by our blood, their blood. The true path of a mercenary or the tragic truth of a king that is us for the player to decide either way we truly were a monarch playing with the lives we were entitled to protect and in the end we sacrificed them to remain the last man standing.

Idk about you guys but this is Ace Combat canon to me, earth was just like ours but all the nukes caused earthquakes and lands to shift creating the Ace Combat world we see in Infinity thats why strangereal was all funky but the Belkan and all the nations were there then we experienced The Ulysses fell upon this earth creating the Nations we see in strangereal today. Then when the second Astroid hit thats what created the map in AC today. And thats how AC Strangereal was made 🤯🤯

So in most planes with WSOs the pilot can still control the weapons if something happens to the RIO. The only reason the WSO exists is so that the pilot doesn't have to juggle so many things at once, but the pilot can still operate the whole aircraft after a couple button switches.
I did the last mission before this in the Su-25, I quickly got the F/S-15 and PSMed my way to victory
