This one was roughly £8500 at that time. Our new Overlanda based on the Euro 5 is about to be built & will be a little over this price. Obviously we work with the individual to build a bike bespoke to them so prices vary..
There will soon be a NEW 2022 Overlanda built from the latest Euro 5 model, this will mean the bike in this video will advertised for sale - head over to Cooperbmotorcycles.co.uk for details👍
Yeah, that fuel tank. I'm not even a biker yet, but that was the first thing I noticed and really wasn't happy about. Honestly I would re-evaluate that decision and edit the video.
John Rhodes if your not a biker... you don’t know. Cooperb are a great RE DEALERSHIP and their development on the Himalayan is well thought out and tested .
Michael Casey I don’t agree. 5kg of moving mass that far out from structural support will put an immense strain on any rack. Be ok on tarmac but on corrugations that’s gonna set up a harmonic vibration that’s going to be undamped or supported and will crack welds.
Added costs, more prone to failure while riding off road, more trouble to get it repaired. The drive would be a bit smoother. Did you ever own a bike with a belt drive? I did, wouldn't be my first choice for a drive system. Chain is cheap and simple, can be maintained and repaired everywhere.
Very much so. I have a Himalayan and I did almost all the mods in this video (except going with tubeless tires and the gel seat pad) for a total of about $600US on top of the $4500US I paid for the bike new.
Then it will be a much better bike. This one is underpowered, 100 lbs too heavy, shit suspension and horrible brakes. That's why I got a Honda 500X. Far superior for not alot more money.
I love the looks of these, but 24hp is not going to make me give up my GS 650. Hitchcocks do a big bore kit for 1200 quid and just 4 hp gain. The point of these bikes is they are cheap, the speced out one shown is about 8k i guess, that puts you into a whole lot of other bikes for that money.
I'll trade $2000 worth of accessories for 16 more hp, not asking for sport bike power, just more than 24. Selling a bike already well fitted is a great idea though, useful parts.
