Excellent deal. I used it with a Super Iridium blade. I loved the shave. It doesn’t shave real close, but close enough. No nicks, cuts or razor burn. Picks up a lot of hair on each pass. Rinses out, very easy. Compared to the Rockwell 6C, I’d say the Henson is better than the Rockwell with mild plates. Not overall, however.
I just got a Henson, it is by far the BEST I have yet used, and tossed the LGBS henry shaver ....... really, a great design and NO nicks, show you what great design can be .

I saw your review and I got interested; then I saw a video on how they make this Henson AL13 razor. I ordered the mild version (in The Netherlands) and I just got my first shave: great! I shaved many years with Gilette, last years with Fusion, before that with Mach3. My gut feel says that I will stick to the Henson. The Gilette Fusion for traveling in airplanes; I bet that the blades with safety razor are not allowed in airplanes. Thanks for the videos!

I saw an ad for this and the guy seemed so genuine and authentic that I pulled the trigger and bought it. Looking forward to using it when it comes in the mail.
I've had the Henson mild for 7 months and I have loved it! I've mostly used the RK blades and get very close and comfortable shaves. It's my first DE, so I didn't have to "unlearn" things like dealing with heavier razors. One thing I will say is that because the angle is completely dialed in, it does a great job of exposing differences in blades, soaps, etc. I'm trying several different right now, and have yet to find one better for me than the RK.
Could you say which Rockwell plate the Henson Mild is similar to? I find Henson is a very mild razor and the head really drags on my skin so I plan on returning it. The included RK blades are the worst. Once it literally skipped across my chin like a rock skipping across water with an RK blade.
I don’t care for the RK blades either. As for Rockwell Plate #, may #2. There is a major difference in these razors. You have to get the correct angle on the Henson. With the Rockwell you do not, you can shave with a shallow or Steve angle, and still get a great shave 🪒
Idk if it’s the Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade or my technique, but I got the AL-13 mild and I’m not too fond of it. Maybe I should try a different blade?
I had been using only plastic disposable razors my whole adult life. To me, the Henson AL13 is heavier than what I am used to. A lightweight razor is like a sports car, very nimble, easy to wield, and desirable.
I just got this razor today and used it on my head. I really struggled and ended up with a ton of razor burn. I feel like my shaving gel is largely to blame. Can you recommend a better shaving cream?
amazing video you make it look easy. ive never used a DE, been shaving over a year with a SR, how would the transition be to the Henson? My SR almost never irritates and i used a modern head swivel razor the other day and had decent irritation the following day, do you think id get past that irritation fairly quickly? thank you sir!
It’s a game changer. Grab an alum block and a good soap with a brush. You will love the shave you get and your complexion will greatly improve. It did for me
The lightness does take some getting used to, but after a few shaves you get used to it. One issue I have with the Henson AL13 is it's hard to get a close shave at the back of my jaw, but everywhere else I don't have a problem. It's definitely the best razor I've used though.
Just got the Twig and I’m liking it so far. Would love to compare the Thorn to that Twig. Henson is on my list but just too many razors out there to try them all.
@Ohio Shaves Thorn Razor. I’m happy to see you review this. I own a Rockwell 6c and was looking at this. Still not sure I’ll get it , or at least anytime soon. But glad to see you use it and have a good shave with it. Thanks.
Got this razor about 6 months ago, and I loved it. Used it for head shaves. Stop using it when I got the Leaf. I can do my head in half the time with the Leaf. I keep it in rotation for face shaves now. It's a nice razor. You just have to get use to the weight. Or lack there of. LOL
That shave sounded baby face smooth. I’m considering a DE safety razor for the first time, and I’m currently doing my research before purchasing one. I have coarse, natural, curly hair that makes me prone to ingrown hairs, and sensitive skin to boot. Hoping the DE safety razor is the answer for me. I’m also looking forward to future cost saving and minimizing plastic waste. After listening to a few TH-cam channels on shaving, it sounds like you’re in for an enjoyable head shave with the Henson. I’m strongly leaning towards the Henson Razor, but would value your feed back on blade recommendations for sensitive skin and to minimize ingrown hairs. I would also love to enter your giveaway @ Ohio Shaves Thorn Razor. Thank you for your review on the Henson razor. Happy New Year❣️
I would definitely buy a variety pack of DE razor blades. Find the one that best suits your skin type and then buy 100 of them. Variety pack: amzn.to/3RZyP7g Sample Pack: amzn.to/3CzP18N
Just made the dive and bought the mild in metal blue, and a medium in silver with the Henson stand, and Feather blades. Have always used different throwaways, so this will be my first time with a safety razor. I never did get a close shave, except when I used an electric razor. Great video, you persuaded me into buying the Henson AL13's.Wish me luck, Lol Leaf Razor to enter the contest!!!
That was somewhere berween double and triple the amount of cream you needed. I'm really thinking about getting a henson... Have you tried the overlander?
Henson Rocks. I have a Karve Christopher Bradley with six different plates and I’ve never got a good shave from it. So bad that I won’t even show a video of it because I don’t want to hurt their sales.
Light weight is an advantage for me. I get good shaves from my Rockwell 6S but I'm 84 and my hands are somewhat arthritic. The Henson is easier for me to hold without pain.
I've used the Gillette M3 for years. When it comes to weight, M3 36G, AL13 40g. For a beginner, the weight shouldn't be much of an issue. For anyone new AL13 is heads above the Mach 3.
Just ordered the al13 medium, what blades do you recommend for this, or is there a starter pack of blades I should try? Coming off the typical cartridge stuff. First DE safety razor. Need to get all of the toddies as well other than brush, someone gave me one 34yrs ago, never used it. Any recommendations for a newbie on that stuff to?
Here is a great video to walk you through everything you will need with a list of the best products to use: How To Shave: Beginners Guide Step-By-Step th-cam.com/video/V2tszfS4wfg/w-d-xo.html
Ive been using it for 4 months now and going to upgrade to the titanium for my lifetime razor. I’m fine with the mild. I use to have harsh razor burn and it’s since stopped!
I knew you'd like the Henson. While the Rockwell 6S is my daily driver, I usually go to the Henson when I have any skin irritation or blemishes. It's almost impossible to get nicked. After 2 or 3 shaves I learned to use a light touch and I haven't had a nick since. When I got my Henson (mild), the Astra Green was recommended and shipped with the razor. I can't recall why Henson switched to the RK blade? Also, I bought a two-pack of those silicone collapsible bowls at Amazon for about $6. They are great for travel.
@Ohio Shaves thorn razor As someone who's just started looking to get into the wonderful world of safety razors your channel has been an invaluable source of information and insight. Keep it coming👍
Honestly, the Henson is my favorite razor to shave my head with. I've never cut myself around my ears or that little fold in the back of my head. I also have a mole. I've cut myself with every other razor, but never the Henson.
Thanks for sharing because a lot of guys that head shave, have problems with cutting into the moles on their head or any imperfection for that matter. I will definitely point this out in my next Henson shave video. Thanks again for your support and adding content for me to create.
You encouraged me to try a feather blade in the Henson al13. I corked the blade 1st. It was smoother then last time I used it. It’s very light! Still find the mamba easier to use. I think I’ll pickup a twig next.
How aggressive is it? Awhile ago I purchased a Merkur Futur Adjustable Razor and even on 1, the lowest setting, it is too aggressive for me. Will the Henson be similar?
Gotta say I'd been kicking around the idea of getting this one for a few weeks. Finally broke down and got it earlier this week, after seeing your demonstration. First shave this morning...un-freaking-believable! I have very sensitive skin (I have to use a Shark Super Chrome blade for how mild it is). This was the cleanest shave I've ever had in four years of wet shaving. Not a single nick, or spot of irritation. (I'd been using an EJ DE87 or 3One6 to this point.) It's like using the weight of a cartridge/disposable, but with actually decent blades!
Never wet shaved ever. I’m coming from cartridges. Would you recommend this razor with the shark super chrome blade combo for my first shave. A little intimidated by wet shaving I do have sensitive skin also.
The 100 RK blades that you get when you use my code are pretty good. I would buy a variety pack from Amazon because everyone’s face and skin type is totally different.
Oy..., three pass shave procedure??!! Wow, I'm strictly a one pass and done shaver, but that's because I can't grow a full beard or mustache if my life dependent on it, but I agree with you; The Henson AL-13 is great. I just got mine the other day and used it once, but it'll take a few more shaves to fully get the hang of this razor. I didn't think that this razor did that well on my neck, but perhaps that will change with more use. But all in all, I'm pleased and think that this razor is worth the money and a very close and smooth shave! So try one out Folks, you won't be sorry. Thanks for this review.😎
@OhioShaves Thorn Razor. I have also have an issue with light razors. With that in mind, because of you I went out and got a Rockwell 6S. Love that razor! I’m working with the #5 & #6 plate and it also is teaching how to shave better. Keep up the great work. Love your reviews.
I love the head on the Henson, but I am disappointed by the handle's weight and feel. I found that the handle of a King C. Gillette Double Edge Safety Razor fits the head and that solved the handle issue. Other people report that the handle of the Mühle R89 also fits.
I had the same opinion as you about aluminium razors but I tried the goodfellas smile styletto. Sound feedback is the worst about them imo but other than that they are awesome
I’m glad you like the Henson razor and went with the nacet blades. If I’m running late I’ll grab for one of my hensons as it is an autopilot shave. I picked up a high proof razor and that is even lighter than the Henson as I have to watch the pressure. My only complaint which is why I got the aggressive is that i can get a smooth shave but will have more of a 5 o clock shadow with the medium vs the aggressive. Honestly with all of the issues I had with Oneblade if Henson didn’t work out I would have probably gone back to cartridge razors.
Good insight. My shave didn't last as long as while using the Henson mild. Compared to a leaf twig or a rockwell 6C. My neck can't handle a cartridge razor. Glad you Figured it out.
@@OhioShaves What does that even mean "My neck can't handle a razor" what do you have a turkey neck? Fusion 5 blade razors are very easy to use impossible to cut your self with.
Thank you for the great review, I have to shave almost every day for my job so I grew up watching my dad use disposable and they absolutely destroy my face. So after 4 years of painful shaves and bad burning for days I started seeking answers for a better way to shave. Because of your review I just bought the Henson Ti22 in medium it’s a beautiful all titanium razor, I can’t wait to get it. I gave your channel the credit for how I herd about it so hopefully they send you one out !
Great video, have had my eye on that razor for awhile, going to buy it in January, looking forward to see how it compares to a standard design DE razor especially after the shave with the alum block, I shaved with a merkur futur earlier and I put no pressure on the razor but it still stung a lot with the alum 🙄 I think this razor will work for me because I tend to put pressure on the razor without realising and all of the razors I own have good heft so this might be a good solution for me 👍 great video 😊
Just ordered/ purchased the Medium. Curious for a true review why you chose to not use the blades they sent. Even thou they don't make them. Or use their supplied blades on one side of your face. And your preferred blades on the other?

According to their website the RK blades are the ones recommended for this razor so I’m just trying to figure out if anyone has used the RK blades with the razor.
Just had my first shave with the AL-13. WOW! Definately has a learning curve, but i've been shaving with a Gillette 2 blade for a long time, so this wasn't that much different except the angle needed. I only went with the grain and across the grain, and holy crap! Very smooth shave! No cuts, even across a mole I have on my neck. I bought a sample pack of blades like you recommended. I used an Astra first and it was very smooth. I see I have a Lord in the bunch and have heard it pulls a little. Thanks for the content. You helped me decide to give this a try, and I love it so far.
Learning curve? its a shaver. Gillett fusion 5 blade that has a battery and complex is also EZ no learning curve. This is not rocket science even though they do make rocket parts :)
@@OhioShaves Ok I have had the Hensen AL-13 with RK Shaving Stainless DE Razor Blades since june 2023. Verdict? The best shaver is still my Gillette Fusion 5 Vibrating Razor . The Hensen is too aggressive and I have to be super carful or I will cut or razor rash my neck. Ruined a few shirts which has never happened with Gillette. Gillette Pros - Can shave fast no cuts easy no need to be careful if in a hurry - Does not clog easily - vibration help to shave even with a slightly dull blade Gillet cons - Price per blade is much higher than Hensen - Maybe does not shave quite as close but not far off. Hensen Pros - Price of blades !!! much less - simple - closer shave but at a cost Hensen Cons - Can dice up your face if not careful - Razor rash from it literally skinning your face, blades are too aggressive even the standard model If price were no option I'm going with Gillette, I've gone back to it and use the Hensen as a back up. They make their money off the razer part not the blades. I wish it were better but its not.
Absolutely excellent accessory for this would be a hefty handle for the higher weight. I wonder if that would work? Got mine ordered, should be here in a week or so. I am hoping this lives up to the hype and reviews.
i just got mine as well, im a new wet shaver so something beginner friendly like the henson was an obvious choice. I got 2 small nicks during my first shave (with a pretty weak lather as my brush hasn't arrived) but they were still smaller than what I usually get with cartridge razors. Back to your point about a heftier handle, I am a machinist (which is one of the reasons I was interested in the henson, gotta support fellow machinists) and honestly your idea sounds like a really fun project for someone like me. If I ever do get around to it I will update this.
@@OhioShaves had my first shave with the AL13. Not perfect by any means. It was the smoothest shave I've ever had, but I still got a decent number of nicks on my neck in the process. None of them stayed bleeding with aftershave on so that's a first. I followed this approach from watching your technique: shower, shave oil, paint on shaving cream, lather on face, wtg pass, xtg pass. I did break rules and did a bunch of feedback based glides atg as well. First time that I didn't get a nick on my cheeks while shaving. I've got to figure out the grain directions on my neck. I think that, and too much pressure, are my problems right now.

I had been using only plastic disposable razors my whole adult life. To me, the Henson AL13 is heavier than what I am used to. A lightweight razor is like a sports car, very nimble, easy to wield, and desirable.
👍
I just got this razor today and used it on my head. I really struggled and ended up with a ton of razor burn. I feel like my shaving gel is largely to blame. Can you recommend a better shaving cream?
There is a website that offers high-quality soaps. I like Bundubeard and Shannon shaving soaps the best.
I really want a thorn would love to win it, also that Henson in red is beautiful.
👍
amazing video you make it look easy. ive never used a DE, been shaving over a year with a SR, how would the transition be to the Henson? My SR almost never irritates and i used a modern head swivel razor the other day and had decent irritation the following day, do you think id get past that irritation fairly quickly? thank you sir!
It’s a game changer. Grab an alum block and a good soap with a brush. You will love the shave you get and your complexion will greatly improve. It did for me
@@OhioShaves thats great to hear. thank you for taking the time, looks like its time to try one out…
The lightness does take some getting used to, but after a few shaves you get used to it. One issue I have with the Henson AL13 is it's hard to get a close shave at the back of my jaw, but everywhere else I don't have a problem. It's definitely the best razor I've used though.
Great Razor. I use it often.
Just got the Twig and I’m liking it so far. Would love to compare the Thorn to that Twig. Henson is on my list but just too many razors out there to try them all.
👍
@Ohio Shaves Thorn Razor. I’m happy to see you review this. I own a Rockwell 6c and was looking at this. Still not sure I’ll get it , or at least anytime soon. But glad to see you use it and have a good shave with it. Thanks.
👍💈
rockwell is a better razor IMO, regards dapper shaves
What does bbs mean? Bulletin board system?
🤣Baby Butt Smooth
Got this razor about 6 months ago, and I loved it. Used it for head shaves. Stop using it when I got the Leaf. I can do my head in half the time with the Leaf. I keep it in rotation for face shaves now. It's a nice razor. You just have to get use to the weight. Or lack there of. LOL
Good review
not fond of fixed shaving angle, its also steep. regards dapper shaves
Variety pack: amzn.to/3RZyP7g
Sample Pack: amzn.to/3CzP18N
@Ohio shaves Leaf Thorn razor. I’m glad you like the Henson. I thought the included RK blades were pretty good
Thanks for sharing!
I didn't Care for the RK in the Henson
@@OhioShaves they aren’t as smooth as a coated blade and only do well for two shaved
Just made the dive and bought the mild in metal blue, and a medium in silver with the Henson stand, and Feather blades. Have always used different throwaways, so this will be my first time with a safety razor. I never did get a close shave, except when I used an electric razor. Great video, you persuaded me into buying the Henson AL13's.Wish me luck, Lol
Leaf Razor to enter the contest!!!
Keep us up-to-date
How is it going?
That was somewhere berween double and triple the amount of cream you needed. I'm really thinking about getting a henson... Have you tried the overlander?
Henson Rocks. I have a Karve Christopher Bradley with six different plates and I’ve never got a good shave from it. So bad that I won’t even show a video of it because I don’t want to hurt their sales.
Light weight is an advantage for me. I get good shaves from my Rockwell 6S but I'm 84 and my hands are somewhat arthritic. The Henson is easier for me to hold without pain.
Thanks for sharing with us Bob
This is why I check TH-cam before I buy anything.

Thanks. I have been doing the same thing as well. Actual people using the things you are looking to buy.
I've used the Gillette M3 for years. When it comes to weight, M3 36G, AL13 40g. For a beginner, the weight shouldn't be much of an issue. For anyone new AL13 is heads above the Mach 3.
💯 Great review
@Ohio Shaves Leaf Thorn Razor.
Great shave with this new razor. Great video as always 👍👏👏
Thanks 👍
agreed, great razor, regards dapper shaves
Just ordered the al13 medium, what blades do you recommend for this, or is there a starter pack of blades I should try? Coming off the typical cartridge stuff. First DE safety razor. Need to get all of the toddies as well other than brush, someone gave me one 34yrs ago, never used it. Any recommendations for a newbie on that stuff to?

Ive been using it for 4 months now and going to upgrade to the titanium for my lifetime razor. I’m fine with the mild. I use to have harsh razor burn and it’s since stopped!
Nice. The titanium is on a whole other level.👍
They are great for travel.
great insight. I think they switched to RK after they improved the AL13. Those bowls are great
light touch is the key, regards dapper shaves
Been using disposable razors for 35 years. Should I start with one of these?
It’s a eye opener
If you like a heavier razor you can always get the Henson razor in Titanium...twice as heavy, but more expensive.
Yeah right: th-cam.com/video/SvnDWRq9JWQ/w-d-xo.html
I'm thinking of switching from disposable blade to Henson. Does it good for sensitive skin?
Works awesome for me
@Ohio Shaves thorn razor
As someone who's just started looking to get into the wonderful world of safety razors your channel has been an invaluable source of information and insight. Keep it coming👍
Welcome aboard! Thank you much 👍
he has great safety razor content, does not matter what you use. i like straight razors, regards dapper shaves
The easiest razor to shave with is the twig but the rockwell 6c is my daily driver
How aggressive is it? Awhile ago I purchased a Merkur Futur Adjustable Razor and even on 1, the lowest setting, it is too aggressive for me. Will the Henson be similar?
The Henson is mild. I can’t shave that well with the Merkur Futur on a one as well.
@@OhioShaves Thank you for the prompt reply, it is appreciated.
Thanks for the update. Great razor
Thanks for that blade recommendation! I'm looking to get into this type of shaving and my skin is sensitive too.
@@OhioShavesThanks. Free blades nice. I see you have an Amazon link for a variety pack with many brands I’ll buy that also. Thank brother.
Thanks for your support, brother. It is greatly appreciated and not overlooked.
@OhioShaves Thorn Razor. I have also have an issue with light razors. With that in mind, because of you I went out and got a Rockwell 6S. Love that razor! I’m working with the #5 & #6 plate and it also is teaching how to shave better. Keep up the great work. Love your reviews.
awesome. Glad I could help. Thanks for all your support.
I love the head on the Henson, but I am disappointed by the handle's weight and feel. I found that the handle of a King C. Gillette Double Edge Safety Razor fits the head and that solved the handle issue. Other people report that the handle of the Mühle R89 also fits.
One of my favorite
I don’t even care about these razors I just enjoy your content
Thanks
I'll probably try one. I'm not sure it will be as aggressive as I was hoping for. My preference is my merkur 34c. And Astra blades. Any thoughts?
The AL-13 mild is one of my favorites. Blow away my 34c on my face
@@OhioShaves that's good to hear mild? Med? Aggressive??
Awesome review, man. Now I want one! I also wouldn't mind winning that @Ohio Shaves @Ohioshaves Leaf Thorn! Keep up the great content.
Good luck!

Damn, now I'm torn between the twig and the al13....
Maybe I'll just get both
As of right now, I think the twig is much easier to use
Twig works fantastic.
@@OhioShaves thanks for your tip brother! Consider myself better informed
The Henson AL13 looks very beautiful... thanks for the review!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
@@OhioShaves it was also a pleasure to see some Henson company material. Great editing.
Best and looking forward to your next video!
Thank you much
sure is a beautiful razor, regards dapper shaves
Do you use this for your head as well?
Yes
I had the same opinion as you about aluminium razors but I tried the goodfellas smile styletto. Sound feedback is the worst about them imo but other than that they are awesome
👍
thanks for the feedback, regards dapper shaves
Glad you Figured it out.
seem like a foolproof razor, especially when you’re in a hurry, not fond of the steep 30degrees, regards dapper shaves
@@OhioShaves What does that even mean "My neck can't handle a razor" what do you have a turkey neck? Fusion 5 blade razors are very easy to use impossible to cut your self with.
Just bought one as a drunken purchase, very expensive (But with100 free blades), tried it dry, wow, does what it says.
Ouch. Are you going to use shaving cream
Great shave👌are u using the mild or medium version?
Mild
For a beginner how essential is the lather bowl? Don't most people just lather in the soap bowl?
Some do. I face lather and bowl ladder. Face lathering is right now. Less time-consuming.
Well now I'm even more confused 🤣 if face lather is less time consuming why bother with the shave bowl at all?
The Henson seems like a great razor. I can’t wait to see a head shave. Great content as always!!! ✌🏻🪒🧼🎄
You and me both!
i expected it to weight more, generally de are a lot heavier. regards dapper shaves

I received my titanium Henson yesterday👊
@@OhioShaves nice! I can’t wait to see the review
It’s growing to be my next shave. Coming out this weekend
Thank you much
they seem to be well made a shaves well. I personally is not a fan of the fixed shaving angle, like things flatter to the skin. regards dapper
The titanium henson is heavier closer than the aluminum. Definitely would love a review
I have one right here for you: th-cam.com/video/esn8HhWqfEw/w-d-xo.html
How does it work for head shaves?
Great if you shave at least every other day👍
Just ordered/ purchased the Medium. Curious for a true review why you chose to not use the blades they sent. Even thou they don't make them. Or use their supplied blades on one side of your face. And your preferred blades on the other?
Blades are more of a personal preference. Some people love their RK blades. I don’t particularly care for them that much but they’re not terrible.
Very informative. Thanks... I'm really considering getting one of these and I wanted see good review. Well done.

According to their website the RK blades are the ones recommended for this razor so I’m just trying to figure out if anyone has used the RK blades with the razor.
They work well for a lot of people. If you’re not getting perfect shaves, I would suggest buying a variety pack.
The rk razors are super high quality i loved them

mild
Would love to see mor videos with the Muhle R41

that’s a great razor, regards dapper shaves
Nice review. I have been thinking about trying a henson sometime...
Go for it!
How long do the blades last?
2-4 shaves. .08-.16 cents to replace
I've had an eye on the Henson , but the aluminum seems too light.
The Ti22 is perfect but pricey
Just had my first shave with the AL-13. WOW! Definately has a learning curve, but i've been shaving with a Gillette 2 blade for a long time, so this wasn't that much different except the angle needed. I only went with the grain and across the grain, and holy crap! Very smooth shave! No cuts, even across a mole I have on my neck. I bought a sample pack of blades like you recommended. I used an Astra first and it was very smooth. I see I have a Lord in the bunch and have heard it pulls a little. Thanks for the content. You helped me decide to give this a try, and I love it so far.
👍
Learning curve? its a shaver. Gillett fusion 5 blade that has a battery and complex is also EZ no learning curve. This is not rocket science even though they do make rocket parts :)
Can this beat a Glillete Fusion 5 blade battery vibe shave? Never have cut myself with one.
People make the switch every day
@@OhioShaves I ordered one for kicks, I don't expect a single blade to beat 5 but would be happy if it did.
I think you might be highly surprised. I know I was. Especially how well it cleaned up my face from razor burn an ingrown hairs
Gillette Pros
- Can shave fast no cuts easy no need to be careful if in a hurry
- Does not clog easily
- vibration help to shave even with a slightly dull blade
Gillet cons
- Price per blade is much higher than Hensen
- Maybe does not shave quite as close but not far off.
Hensen Pros
- Price of blades !!! much less
- simple
- closer shave but at a cost
Hensen Cons
- Can dice up your face if not careful
- Razor rash from it literally skinning your face, blades are too aggressive even the standard model
If price were no option I'm going with Gillette, I've gone back to it and use the Hensen as a back up.
They make their money off the razer part not the blades. I wish it were better but its not.
How is this compare to supply single edge ??
Better
how often do you replace the blade?
Every razor blade is different. I generally shave with a new blade every time. These replacement blades are pennies compared to Gillette razors.
Would you say that the razor has performed well since you first made this video?
One of my best razors
I just ordered one lets see if it meet the hype. Btw I bought it cuz I trust you
Great choice. Keep us posted
@@OhioShaves yes I will in 7-8 days you will hear from me I guess

I’m going to buy one of these razors. Thanks for the nice video
Thanks for your support
Absolutely excellent accessory for this would be a hefty handle for the higher weight. I wonder if that would work? Got mine ordered, should be here in a week or so. I am hoping this lives up to the hype and reviews.
Great to hear. Keep us updated
@@OhioShaves will do!
i just got mine as well, im a new wet shaver so something beginner friendly like the henson was an obvious choice.
@@caseyking8394 love it! I'll keep my eye out in case you dive into that
@@OhioShaves had my first shave with the AL13.
