How do you tell if it's a "he" or "she"? My cockatiel is 1 year old and I still don't know what's up

@@mmastuff1150 mine both got DNA tested, one of them got tested before I bought him from the breeder and so I bought him knowing he’s a male, the other one i ended up sending a test kit myself because I was curious, but they were young when I tested them like 3 months old. By one year old you should know if it’s male or female simply by whether or not the bird’s singing. Does your cockatiel whistle songs? If so then it’s definitely a male, but if the bird doesn’t sing songs even after you’ve been playing him music for at least a month or so it’s a female, also how quiet is your bird? Females are usually soooooo much quieter than males
