I just built a Ryzen 3100/1070 ti system for my girlfriend so we can game together. I was really surprised at how capable the system is at 1080p. Especially considering the CPU and the GPU only cost me about $160.
I was really expecting the 2060 to be faster then 1070ti, as i see the 1660Ti to be only 10% slower then 2060 and that gives almost the 1070 perf (about 5% slower). I think that the issues with 2060 is relatively low horse power and sometimes limiting 6gb ram (it looks horrible in Horizon Zero Down), if the Vram stays under 6gb then 2060 is much closer to the 1070Ti. Again the 2060 is a upper low end (or lower middle end) and a 1070ti is a solid to upper mid range GPU (from the previous gen). The 1070Ti needs more VRAM bandwidth to match its raw horsepower. They did that in the 1080 by giving it a GDDR5x ram chips. The 1080Ti is on the another level all together as they drop it with 352 Mbit bus. That thing is even faster then 2070 Super cards.
@@killahead4277 yep. the first game used 7.5GB VRAM which is why the 2060s framerate was cut in half. a slightly OCed 2060 will perform better than a 1070 ti in every benchmark (@ 1080p).

You probably don't play on with very high/ultra high textures. In most of the games here that aren't great on the 2060 are maxing out the 6gb frame buffer
@@balazskovacs129 wrong bro. The 2060 runs much hotter. Also dlss doesnt effect the fps to much on the 2060. Its not a strong card at all. I had one.. i sold it for the 1080 wich is a loooot faster.

Its better bcz of vram. Mostly on 2k videos with high settings its perform better bcz of of vram

dude the 3100 is amazing. Use one too, its a monster for that money. Also ez overclock to 4.5ghz.

Its time to retire my 2060Super and get my new 4060Ti in next week,cant really afford the 4070 its too expensive so i thing 4060ti is a good choice
4060 is pretty good and new so it will serve u well with 16 gb of vram
I have a 2060, but in all the games tested there I get higher fps rates, I think what is limiting the 2060 and the processor.
