Never doubted you Mick, and true to your word, and you presented a neat coverage of numerous camping / caravan sites... Sure is great to witness the river having a flush of fresher water. And always a pleasure to join you and Sally when out and about....Cheers.
Once again Mick another great video. Thanks very much. Brings back wonderful memories of our caravan trip around Australia a few years ago. Happy Easter and as always best wishes from Rotorua
Thanks again Mick, camped at lake Bonny on the east side in march 2019, really hot weather, it was great to lay down in the shallow water. Love the vids, keep them coming. Great camping spots. Bravo from Victoria Australia
We have camped at Barmera when it was extremely hot so no doubt Lake Bonney would be no different. Such a pretty lake to camp by, glad you like the videos, thanks.
It was all quite lovely and while you were talking a couple of times you have some very nice birds in the background , they sound lovely too , calming .👍❤️
As a Renmark local I never thought I would see the day when we have to book let alone pay to camp along the banks of the River Murray. In our day you just camped wherever you wanted. As soon as the National Parks took over everything has changed. Our kids and their families camp every Easter at what is classed as the Lyrup National Park, just out of Renmark, and they have to book exactly 12 months ahead, almost to the minute to be able get the site they want. It’s crazy.
Two and bit years ago I was camping there and they put big rock's in then I left for Good old Darwin town just got back to Clare two days ago then saw your post so they don't want tourists to stay overnight or two days and fish well I won't buy fuel or food in Renmark I'll buying in loxton so I'll be going to Murray bridge to fish and camp
Sorry Brian Farmiloe but I was referring to the Lyrup National Park. You can still stay at Plush’s Bend for more than one night. Unfortunately as always it was the minority that buggered it up for the majority in that location. I am very disappointed when I read posts where people say they are going to boycott a town, because of a free camp issue, unfortunately the only people you are hurting are the local businesses who have had no say in what has happened and you miss out on all that town has to offer.
@@rogertrimper3093 you are so correct with your comments. From what I see in most cases the people that miss out are those who both socially and financially lose, who have no say in how things are run. Some changes are unfortunate while others are necessary for survival, either way the changes hopefully will never stop our travels.
@@rogertrimper3093 sorry Roger I well buy fuel and food in Renmark I thought you was saying about plush bend as I have to go to Tony at riverland auto and four wheel drive and help finish a 59 Chevrolet sedan for him
Spent Christmas at Lake Bonney Barmera. Was definitely one of my favourite camp grounds. Lake is full of carp if you like to have a fish for fun and a kayak.
Nice. We have seen smaller vans into that little camp around the secluded corner at Overland Corner. We too thought it looked a bit cuddly getting in. Sneaky drone shots at Lock 2. Rippers tho
Hi Mick and Sally, great video. Always impressed with you video quality. Perhaps you could tell me which video software you use. Alan and Heather, currently touring in Tassie.
You can only camp at plushs bend for 7 days and can't come back for 30 days to camp big rock's line the road going in plus at toilets end, at sand bar at loxton 2 weeks then stay away 30 days I was told by council workers but very nice places
As a local unfortunately a few years ago there used to be a lot of ‘undesirables’ that camped there long term and almost tried to control the area. Hence the new rules plus the Council has made designated camp spots and of course now come at a cost per night.
Camping along the Murray is always beautifully ❤️it..
Couldn't agree more.
Another great video from down under greetings from Holland
Greetings to you Wim, glad you liked it.

Thanks Dennis, so many great spots to visit and camp at.
Thanks for another great show. Be nice to see the Coorong end of the river while its so high..... 😍
It certainly would be good to get down there, perhaps when retirement comes our way we can venture down there.
Hi Mick. Another great video, almost as good as the road train stuff. PS I think you are SA best camping ambassador 👍🏼🇦🇺
Thank you Malcolm, glad you like them.
Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers, glad you liked it.
Another nice presentation Mick.
Thanks Chris, glad you liked it.
Lovely to relive our trip to Plush’s Bend last year, love seeing your drone footage, can’t wait to return.
Thanks Jackie, glad you enjoyed the video.

Nice birds within the nice scenery, just a top location.
I totally love camping alongside the Murray river.
Used to live in Morgan.
There is something special about the Murray. WE have a love for water locations.
Another great video Mick, gives us an idea of some more great places in SA to visit!
Was great to meet you and Sally in person at Port Broughton! 😃
Yes great to meet you as well. Glad that you called us across when you did, enjoy your S.A. visit.

Sounds fair enough, gives everyone an opportunity to camp there.

@@rogertrimper3093 Some do spoil it for the rest of us although a little control at a small cost to the user sometimes isn't a bad thing.
Very well worn path, adventurous.?
I you never go down the path, you will never know where it leads you.
Lake Bonny looks like my kinda place as it is sandy & the water not so muddy like the river. I am not fond of rivers!
Lake Bonny is a very pretty and popular spot.
