Mon point est de dire que régulièrement les features Pixel liées aux langages sortent aux USA, sans calendrier officiel et transparent sur une disponibilité hors USA. Donc quand on te vend 7 ans de mAj et de fonctionnalités, dans les faits, c'est mensonger. Un Pixel a plein d'atouts mais Google n'est pas transparent. Le Pixel est d'abord pour les américains

      Exactly. Ordered one today. Sadly my house keys were thrown out of my jacket pocket while riding my Zooz 1200 yesterday and those set of keys are very important to me. When this device arrives it will definitely help me out in the future if something like this happens again. The fact that it shows led lights while searching for it are cool as well.

      @@cooliipie because you don't need a samsung device to use it. That's the best part. It's also rechargeable. It has an LED light that you can flash from the app.

    Everybody just kind of glosses over the safety/security if this concept. The ability to track anyone has just become cheap and easy.

      Lots of people do, but you might be interested to know that a big reason this took Google so long to roll out is that they wanted Apple to play ball too so that if one of their trackers is traveling with an iPhone user they'll be warned. This helps keep people safe.

    FINALLY. I pre-ordered the Android specific Chipolo Point in MARCH of 2023! Partly because I had just gone through a spate of dropping my keys in an uber and my friends house and having some wallet scares. I was coming up on a year and was almost about to ask for a refund lol

    the last time i checked my pixel buds only ping the location if they where actually connected to my phone like for audio. If the case is closed they are off and dont ping anything. for now ill keep my cheap iphone and hand full of airtags untill android manufacturer actually implement this like apple

    Android / Google really are going from strength to strength. If they really polish up the Find My Device network, and continue releasing phones like the pixel, I really hope this kind of thing will start to "crush" Apple's monopoly. Having Find My on Android is huge, because Android is more popular worldwide. This is great!

    Uh, I remember watching a interview with some person who had worked at a agency, who claimed they could find any phone even if it was turned off, and I thought it was BS.. now Google claim this even works if the phones battery is dead (regarding Pixel 8)...and I was like.. WHAT.. . This is more of a "find any person on earth" than find my device in my view :)

    An Android phone with Google Play Services* Any Android device without Google Services will not contribute to the find my device network.

      @@megamegaO The earlier born among us still remember using phones with removable batteries. Back then there were paid phone lines that didn't let you end the call. What you did was tear your battery off as quickly as you could. Fun times. It might sound strange, but some people still want control over their devices and privacy.
