I loved this content, Timothy. I've spent much time over the years meditating on this verse and verse 1 (which talks about the physical body - then verse 2, the mental). I've often thought that the negative command is not to be "conformed" to this world.... "with form". I think it's too easy for me (and other believers) to have the form of this world in my thoughts if I'm filling my mind with the world's offerings like TV shows or social media. I agree with you 100% that instead, we need to be filling our minds with "the things above" which you mentioned in your video. Again, love it... very helpful in ministering to those of us in the process of "changing our minds" to dwell on Jesus and the truth of God's word. Keep these vids coming, brother.

(and as an older guy, I need all the help I can get).. but it is working--and my focus is better.. so I can get MORE out of my Word Study. I love to take a verse and study it ONE WORD at a time- Look at first word- get all the meaning of it- then add the NEXT word to it and the meaning of that... etc.- and by the end of the verse I know a LOT more than I did- and think about things I'd have overlooked otherwise.
