I've been using my G703 for about 4 months now, and I think it's the best mouse I've ever used for gaming. The charge still holds for 32 hours, charges in 1 hour, has no connectivity issues, has never glitched out, and has the perfect shape.
I won't be getting this mouse pad however until they make a large version. Seeing how great the G703 is, I'm content with waiting however long it's going to take.
Now just give us something we can put under desk mats like this :)

Absolutely awesome. I got a wireless Logitech mouse but still use it with cable cause I am sick of dying batteries. Now this would be a great thing to have! Would even be better if more Logitech mouses would be compatible.
[DE].fekt they'll hopefully rerelease some older mice that are PowerPlay compatible soon. I'm personally hoping for a Proteus Spectrum PowerPlay mouse.
I love all the buttons on my 502 but being cabled just sucks. I also hate the anal usb plug design of both G900 and Razer mouse in general. Much aiming just to plug a charging usb into a mouse. Seriosuly. I don't mind paying for a non-charging mouse solution but this PowerPlay thing seems to restrict people to Logitech mouse pads. I like my Steelseries pad. Also, if Logitech could convince people to get into a charging sensor surface, well, what is stopping Logitech from going into Wacom stylus kind of PASSIVE MOUSE PAN? I've been dying for a passive mouse pen with Logitech side-scroll wheel and extra buttons for all my 2D 3D works. Logitech are you listening? Money money money!
you might be able to use some of the other pads so long as they don't have metal or anything else that interferes with the wireless charging

this is actually genius, great implementation.
it isnt. basically a wireless + wired mouse. the mouse is wireless but the mousepad isnt. how do you hide cables?
It's easier to route the cables of something that isn't constantly moving.
Definitely will buy one of this support G403 wireless too!
Wouldn't it be awesome making different modules of the powerplay but for different mice, for instance my g700s? I absolutely love it and think it would be a fantastic addon to have!

You need to come out with a G700s version that can use this technology.. The G700s has the best button layout I've ever had in a mouse.

The G logo on the top left of thge mousepad is RGB, but not right in your face so it's a nice feature.
JimJam yeah its subtle and sleek. Unlike the other usb mousepad that has rgb wrapped around it, those look too "10yr old gamer", too flashy and childish.

lol what makes you think they wont have rgb? they follow the money, it would be part of the next mouse pad, just so people will have a reason to buy it.
Questions:
1. Is it "just" a mouse mad on top so it would work with let's say the G640 Cloud 9 mouse mad? It has stitched edge!
2. Any plans on releasing another wireless mouse that supports this great new system AND is a light or "lighter" mouse?
I have an iMac 27” computer. I just bought the G903 and it works fantastic with my iMac. I have the Powerplay ordered and it will arrive in a week. I am very anxious to start using this great combo. I cant help but think apple is missing out on a huge gaming peripheral market to Logitech. But its apples loss and our gain.
You need more mice options for this type of system. Like the G700s.
So please get on the ball and move over more mice to be able to use with this system.
1 thing to do though is make the wireless base (for the mouse pad) large enough so we can fit a G640 on there.
I also wonder if this will be backwards compatible so I can fit the power core in my G403.

I've had the power play for a while now with a G502 and they worked great together, but how do you pair a G915 with the power play? They both have LIGHTSPEED technology but I don't see any tutorials on how to pair the two.

Yep. My 45cm x 40cm mousepad is placed VERTICALLY so my entire hand to elbow is on the pad. What is these Logitech guys thinking? 4 years of "designing" this "solution"? Seriously? I won't bother with this charging mouse pad. I won't mind a Asus ROG Spatha kind of sensor surface based charging dock. I call it Park & Go solution. No need to fuss with plugging in tiny usb holes every night. Just "park" my mouse in its parking lot when it's not in use. Logitech ARE YOU LISTENING?
JohnReviewer112 yep lol I play 2000dpi with just enough sensitivity I can do a 360 using a decent amount less than the mousepad size I use the hardpad
JohnReviewer112 but you also gotta take into consideration that most people try to follow pros and most pro players use primarily 400 to 450dpi some use 800dpi but barely any I use 2000dpi

This is super! The only thing tho is that you want it larger for the low sensetive hardcore players
I wish they would put an EL strip around the powerplay base and give you the ability to make it change colors.

From here it looks like the mousepad, the cover of the base, is just loose on it. I don't think that's ideal? Do the pads have some rubber bottom so that it will stay in place on the charging base? Perhaps a little latch to keep the pad in place around the sides need to be added
How long will the battery survive if it's charged constantly? Since you can't replace it, would be kind of important to know (for me)
Really sad it's some proprietary standard and not something like Qi. Would be an instant buy if it was Qi.
when does this damn thing come out? I know the power play mat comes out in august but every source I checked saidd the new mice come out sometime this month (June) it's already the end of june but its apparently notout yet. I want to get it with my next check but don't want to waste money on a pre order if its going to take until August , might as well just use ths money on something elsee until then
That size is enough for wrist type user. I have 40x40 pad and I use only 1/4th of mousepad as mouse only needs to move 2-3cm from left to right or from bottom to top.
Love it and want it, only one thing is the size, but I know you guys can do it.

Dear Chris and Andrew, I have the G900 and although used for not much over a year I think, the battery, with regular charging from PC only, is almost dead. This is really a problem for me as I bought it for wireless more accurate graphic work. The cable does not allow for the sensitivity I need, it is not so flexible as the sensitivity of the mouse. I would like to ask how can I have it replaced, or considering this is a design/technical issue with the mouse somehow, would it be possible to change or part exchange it for the G903 which I am imagining will always be charged over many years as long as it has the mat with it? I bought one today and it has rubber cable inside the box! Why logitech is cutting corners with the cables? This is the same with g915 keyboards. I bought g915 on 2021 and it came with braided charging cable but today I recieved a new one with rubber cable in the box!
Great idea, better than wireless phone changers since the mouse is nearly always going to be on the pad.
However I am so used to a wired mouse, my G700s is never used in wireless mode with my setup.
I have the G700s too, its wireless battery life sucks ass. I always have it plugged in because it dies in 6-7 hours.
Will this work with other cloths other than Logitech G? For instance, an RGB Mat?
I want this but its too bad they currently only are using one form factor of mouse. I like my mouse to have the slant of the G700s mouse. If they plan on releasing that style mouse with programmable thumb buttons to work with this I will for sure go
so... those mobiles or other devies with similar wireless charging... if I move them on the surface they stop charging? must place to a very tiny specific spot for charge? Thats why it needed 4 year to develop? I dont have wireless charger for phone so cant try if charging stops if I start o move mobile on the surface slowly...
See this is great and all, but Logitech needs to get this to work on ALL of their previous wireless mice they've released over the years not just the G903 and G703 and gaming mice.

Thats a very genius idea and i would buy it plus the mouse directly if you could make it bigger, in this size its useless for me playing at 400dpi (and 2 csgo ingame sens)
Awesome technology, now next step is to make the platform/mousepad WAY bigger. Cause that current one is way to small. Awesome product tho, currently using my G900. But would buy this, if the mousepad were way bigger =)

i used 1/4 thin piece of acrylic and cut 2 small pieces for it and taped it from the back side of powerplay mat so they can hold and threw a glorious race mat on it 18x18

Well I would not call that copying, Technology is open for everyone. I Believe Corsair already made one called Zeus Project. Do you know RGB mousepad Razer Firefly? Razer made it first, then the others like Corsair, even steelseries makes one. At this stage, technology is open for all..one make something, others will follow to give some "competition" to the market.
Lancehead is not stupid, it's a subjective point of view from you. From me and other reviewers, the mouse is a good mouse with small or almost none input lag. As for the size, It's a good small size for asian users like me, comparing to the G900 .
G900 is also one of the best mouse around, but the size is too big for me. I think i will get or try the Lancehead.
I believe 8/10 can't separate a Laser with optical sensors performance wise nor will have trouble with laser sensors. But I do believe logitech has better build quality and control, but I won't say people will choose logitech over razer. Models and people's taste are vastly different. No need to trashtalk other company.

Logitech answered my prayers for a gaming mice that won't ran out of battery thanks Logitech and at the same time i feel swindle cause i bought Logitech G900 chaos spectrum...i bet that Logitech can make a mouse that can levitate so that it is frictionless

I have a Logitech G502 Lightspeed mouse and powerplay and powerplay won't charge the mouse, meaning I still have to use it as a wired mouse so that the battery doesn't drain. On GHub the wireless charge checkbox is greyed out. I am using the latest version of GHub. I just paid $128.00AUD for a standard mouse mat as it will not charge my mouse.

Just recently got the G Pro Wireless mouse. I wouldn't use a powerplay pad of this size though.. If bigger, definitely. :)
acrylic sheet do 2 cut outs one for the bottom one for the right side of powerplay mat as the difference from powerplay mat and the mousepad you choose tape it halfway in the back with electrical tape so it wont make the pad uneven on top throw the new pad on top line it up i used two way tape real thin on the edges of acrylic and powerplay mat and it works beautifully on an 16x18 glorious pc gaming race mouse pad and for charging ive done this the 1st week i bought it with the mouse around september and i still have great signal for receiver and still has not been needed to charge with a usb cable lol

So, when we don't want to charge the mouse, we need to replace the base of the mouse? No simple on/off button on the charging base? How is that simpler than just plugging in a data cable? And I don't want it to always charge, the battery life will be shorter than new tech smell :)
So, is there a way to not charge the mouse, and not needing to remove charging base on the mouse, is there on/off option for the charging?
And, can the surfaces be bought as spare parts, without the charging base? It is not good if I have to pay 100$ whenever I damage a surface.
If there isn't, I see no replace my Vespula and G900.
