- I want to keep this clear cut, as I feel as if going any further with ranting will most likely result in being a greater turn off to those who will be bound to disagree right off the get-go for even attempting to go after someone they regularly make a martyr out of.
I rant about Varg in this video, my stance on him, and my thoughts on his inconsistencies, incoherency, misguided behavior and general hypocrisy in the face of logical facts.
I appreciate his music and his influence. Hell, even I don't mind if people have different beliefs than I...but I think too often, he takes it one too many steps further than he should. Listening to his rants for just a little bit should give you that much.
He's someone I don't believe should be supported. Admired from afar, respected for musical talent and given well deserved credit? Yes. But made out to be a savior of outsider culture? No. That is all.

Varg's music in my opinion (Burzum) is some of the most beautiful spiritual stuff out there. It always makes me long for something lost and sacred. And he's also written quite a few good books concerning nordic paganism which are quite informative and educational. Yeah, he says a lot of stupid stuff, BUT his music is extremely beautiful. He is an artist. And one doesn't have to like the individual in order to like their art. So yeah, Varg's art should be supported because it will stand the test of time. Question is, what have YOU done? lol

As a whole, I feel as if I made my points very clear in terms of hypocrisy as a whole and double-standards that people hold for Christians vs. the way the Norwegians treated classical Paganism and things of that nature. If anything, I resort to name calling very briefly out of frustration of people that martyrdize artists over their music. Burzum is a wonderful project, and Varg is a fantastic musician. I'm telling people to do their own research, and not make people iconic for their own personality, but their works. It seems as if many Varg fans hold this strong belief in HIM as a person, as opposed to his music alone. Different beliefs are perfectly fine, but I would stand against anyone from any side of the spectrum for eliciting any sort of violence in the wake of pushing their beliefs.

Quite the oposite can be said if i'm being honest since you claim that Varg went with the intent to kill Euronymous wich you can't possibly know. But you said that it was very clear in this video. I can't know that he didn't either so I suppose we have to leave that in the middle. But never theless the man has served his sentence so even if your claim that he killed him with the intention forehand is true it's not really fair to say he's a stone cold murderer after all these years and act as if he is a threat to society, since he has done his time. Plus the man he killed ( maybe in self defence, maybe with intent. I can't say for sure) was a complete madman who took foto's of his bandmates corpse, to use as the cover for his next album. Now the claim that he is a nazi is not really correct either. Yes he does believe that races shouldn't mix, but he does not claim one particular race is superior ( maybe more adapted to a specific climate but not superior). Racism implies that a specific race is superior. Plus he doesn't claim other races should be disposed of like the nazi's. I would love tho hear from you why he is such a hypocrit and racist and idiot and all the other names in the book you called him. (sorry for the long essay but this I needed of my chest)

Well the blasphemy laws are a good reason for the churches, the government suffocated nonChristians for too long, while everything else you stated I can mostly agree on. If you never faced the blasphemy laws in any country it's hard to speak on without hitting a wall or offending people who were facing persecution.
Yeah, persecution was a big topic that I could've delved into because the complexity of this whole entire system is a lot. I will say this: I'm a Lutheran, personally, and found that for myself within Protestantism because I was so against the orthodox Church and what came with it.

Varg is an online modern day Gandalf. The reason he has such a large following is because he speaks actual wisdom and common sense logic pertaining to many of today's social, cultural and economic problems, much of which are in fact caused by multiculturalism. Nobody will never know what really happened between Varg and Euronymous besides Varg and Euronymous. We can listen to what Varg says, we can even listen to necro-butchers opinions and theories. Even Necro-butcher in the end sad he was considering killing Euronymous too. Obviously something had happened between the 3 that went terribly. Do I agree with all of Vargs opinions not at all but in the end the only one who knows the truth of what happened but those 2, in the end he has served his time. But it takes all kinds of people to make this world go round, it is better to agree to disagree and move on. If you don't like the guy then avoid topics with him or of him because in the end there you're giving him attention and he is living in your head space rent free.

I'm not gonna lie when I say that I truly expected this to get a downfall ratio, but that doesn't mean that I disagree completely.... Now obviously Varg is one of the most known people in the band and at least one of the second controversial figures in the whole band itself along with Burzum, and he did some pretty crazy shit like burning churches, killing Euronymous, representing himself as a very sociopathic lunatic and overall giving himself a very negative outcome of how other people might view him.
One of the thing's I've got to say though is that Euronymous wasn't a good character in this book either, I mean according to Necrobutcher he treated Pelle like shit by presenting a bunch of death threats or further encouraging him to kill himself and that wasn't good for someone like him and especially him considering he had some type of disorder and evidently thought he was dead, I mean doing shit like that is just unreal and careless and it doesn't benefit the separate person in anyway possible and the worst part is that he was just technically profiting off of him by taking pictures with a disposable camera and using it as a memorable, edgy, dark, album cover that just makes people uncomfortable, so he isn't innocent by all means and I know you never claimed that in this video in particular at any point but the bashing criticism you're directing to Varg himself almost makes it seem like you're praising Euronymous as if he wasn't a big piece part of the story.
I feel like if you wanted to make a video about controversial related thing's then you could've talked about the band in all and not just Varg but for some odd reason I guess you have some sort of hot flowing tension around him and you clearly despise him with everything, but none of these people are innocent, because their hard-core Satanists and they are all about sin and religion free plus anti-christian, none of them have a good record at this point which is why I feel like attacking a very specific celestial is just kind of dumb-founding.
There's no evidence he burned churches and he denies it. Plus if you look at his trial he was guilty of murder because at one point Euronymous tried to flee, so even the court never said Varg wasn't attacked first, they just said he should have stopped when Euro tried to break away

I agree with your assertions. Well said. They just focus on Varg because he's most well known but these kids really have no idea what they're talking about or the aura around black metal back in the 90's. Oh man those were the days but I'm saved now and know better but still, there was a mystique and black metal fit the void we all had perfectly. The appeal was because it defied all established power structures and people relate to it or just wanted to be edgy.

I don't think you're well informed about Varg or his ideology as you think you're mate. First off, I don't agree with everything Varg says (aka. we should live in the woods a simple life, marry your own nation only, go back to living a tribal life etc.) But he is by no means a neo-nazi or anything alike of that sort. He doesn't hate people because they're African,Egytian,Jewish... or wants to kill them. He doesn't like the idea that those people get to live in European countries basically being given everything for free since they claim asylum. On top of that, many of those said folks commit absoluetly horrendous crimes and get away with it because even criticizing them puts you in jail for committing a hate crime. And you bringing up the that he committed murder when he was a teen and burned churches... He went to jail for it and paid the price.
