That dorm furniture is so cool and functional. Never knew there were desks that could attach to the bed like that! This would have been so helpful when I lived in the dorms haha

That's a pretty functional space , I recommend using the konmari folding method for Ur closet drawers . With that amount of clothes u will empty one entire drawer and u will have plenty more space !! And use some sort of metal shelve wrak thing ? For your pantry that way u get two levels of storage in every one of those three storage spaces . It's great that colleges have beds that move up. When I was in school it was just a normal twin bed & we weren't allowed to put boxes under it for safety reasons.

I love Tap dance. I took both tap dance and jazz dance classes from 6th through 12th grade. I now would love to find an adult tap dance class near me. I started out with hip hop dance class in 3rd grade and then switched to tap once I discovered it a few years later.

Wise words to whoever is here: to all of you saying “ I’m only in _ grade, but I am obsessed”. Time goes by fast, a little too fast at times, and before you know it you will be leaving for college. Trust me. So please stay young, have fun for a while longer, be a child no matter if you’re 8 or 17. Time goes by faster then you think. Enjoy being a kid, because you will be stuck as and adult for the rest of your life.
Have you thought about using a microwave cupboard for added space? Or a basket for fruit and veggies?

Pro tip: buy a medium sized foldable table that you can put away when not in use. Get yourself some space to prepare food... you can use the foldable table for this. You can make yourself some salad without the need to go to the kitchen. Just whip out a chopping board.

It depends what school you attend. Many will supply the mini fridge and the microwave.

They're basically the same thing, though most people typically don't live on campus in Australia. I don't know much about American Colleges, but I assume that living on campus is actually a requirement, unlike Australia. Another difference would be the subject you'd study. American Colleges require classes that may not even help you with the degree you're undertaking, whereas, in Australia, all of your courses are related to your degree. I believe that American Colleges also require you to do four years, no matter your degree, whereas most Australian degrees are three years these days. Once you completed your college diploma, you can go on to a separate institution if you want to advance your qualifications, whereas, in Australia, you can do it all straight after completing your bachelor's degree at the same university, and it won't take as long as it would in America, so you'd be out in an actual job and making money faster. Hope that helped
Emily Bartlett you got most of it right! Our system is really weird, we have general education requirements which aren’t really related to your major. You can go to college for a certificate which would take a few months to a year. Associates degrees are two years, bachelors are four years, and then masters & PhD can take like 3-4 years but you have to have bachelors first I think? I don’t even think we know how our college system works lmaoo
